Now, Jericho was going to offer the incubus some kobold eggs to help with that issue, however this was quickly forgotten as the female dragon insisted on insulting his treasure. A sort of fire kicked up in his eyes and his fists quickly balled up tightly.

"You little b***h," he hissed with small flames flicking out of his mouth as he spoke.

He didn't care that this was another red dragon. If anything that just made the insults even worse. THE NERVE SHE HAD. Also, he didn't care that this was right in front of his own booth. No one insulted his treasure and got away with it if he could help it. There was no Mac and Lizzy around to stop him either.

That was it. He couldn't take this any more.

"VOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!" he roared out before launching himself at the other dragon, aiming to punch her right in the face. He'd show her!

There was something about a Tonberry that reflected in Nicodemus's personality as it did in his race. He was slow to build up, albeit his patience for stupidity sped things along, but when he unleashed his anger, it was quick, precise, and it had nearly knocked Cass clean out.

There was a reason why he liked Cass. She took stress in stride, but it was also slow to build up, and her threshold for it was also limited to so much. She'd said no.

She'd said stop.

She'd tried to avert the crisis that was slowly building up between the red dragon golem and the red dragon that wasn't a golem.

Cass had dealt with enough. She had reached her not-so-easy-to-obtain breaking point. She was putting up with too much. There was too much new information. They were supposed to be sneaky. They were supposed to keep these golems in tact in less they wanted to reap a potential disaster.

Even Nicodemus wouldn't be able to hold back an angry woman. Well..girl..but even that..

"I. ********. SAID. STOP IT." Her voice barely rose, but there was seething in her tone. Cassandra Norris was mad. She was pissed. She was livid. The tail of her golem whipped around as she reached out and grabbed the back of Marcus's neck. "WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE DONE THIS ONE THING FOR ME? WHY? IT WASN'T A HARD THING. IT WASN'T A BIG THING. ALL YOU HAD TO DO.

WAS SHUT.

YOUR MOUTH.

AND STOP BEING A ******** p***k." she waved her arms around dramatically before she turned her attention on Jericho, turning on him to return a punch. To the face? She really wasn't aiming.

"AND YOU. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO. IS STAND DOWN AND BE THE BIGGER MAN. HOW CAN YOU WANT ANYBODY TO TRUST YOU TO HANDLE THEIR s**t WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN HANDLE YOURSELF? IT TOOK HER THREE MINUTES TO WIND YOU UP. THREE. AT TOPS.

THAT'S NOT A LOT.

IT'S NOT IMPRESSIVE.

IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE AN IRRESPONSIBLE ******** WHO THROWS THINGS AWAY WITHOUT A CALM HEAD."

Clearly Cass should have been the red dragon, as she shrieked back into Jericho's face, before she turned and made her retreat. If it was possible for her to be literally flaming with rage...
...

she would have been.

She didn't run.

She just walked. Purposefully. Angrily.

Marcus may not have been getting those make outs when they got home.

There was so much delicious anger in the air. If West were around, he would have been patting his belly with delight. As it was, however, there was only one demon coming to Jericho's booth at the moment - and she was not happy about it.

As soon as Jericho had started to rage, Riley had run, full speed, from the madness going on in her own booth, to skid to a stop right in front of Jericho and splay her hands out in front of her. Her positioning was impeccably lucky, as the move just barely managed to catch a punch that was headed in his direction. She knew he could take care of himself, but his rage was making her rage, and she couldn't deal with being this angry while her own booth needed tending to.

So, instead, she decided to step in.

The mindflayer towered a few inches over the boil as she released her wrist, and her blood-flushed red eyes did not look happy.

Yet, surprisingly, the hiss in her voice when it murmured into his mind was only slightly murderous.

I understand you are upset, but please resist from attempting to hit my best friend. Let us find more diplomatic solutions to this problem.

Her words were smooth, and very rational. The look in her eyes was not.

While she would have rather talked it out with the two, it seemed the only diplomatic solution would be for them to walk away. It was more acceptable than letting him and Jericho duke it out. After all.. Jericho was running for election, as well. Her hands returned back, wrapping backwards around Jericho.

Your temper will be the end of me. She whispered to the dragon as she kept him from following the two.

Marcus stood like an idiot. Did...Cass just-

Yes. Yes she did. Now go suck some serious d**k Marcus. because if you want to get laid later, you best impress the lady. Also GREAT job on this mission dumbass. Thankfully, some other..thing came and was holding the dragon back from going after Cass, and killing him. But Cass was-
"s**t" Glaring at the dragon, Marcus looked back at the booth, he saw the eggs. Maybe it was a fish egg. Who the ******** knew. "You wanted a vote?" Reaching over, he grabbed one. "Consider this the price of a vote you flamer." Marcus's voice was normal for him as he said this. He didn't give a damn he sounded male. Cass was pissed at him. And now he'd gone and ******** up.

Storming off, Marcus was now going to try and smooth thing over with his...well with Cass.

Denied the satisfaction of punching this other dragon's face in, Jericho was about to follow up but some quick movements cut in at the side. Riley was now besides him, holding back a punch from the incubus. She looked just about as pissed as he was, but he knew why.

As for the Incubus, if he hadn't been so pissed, the words would have hit him a little harder. He'd have the chance to think about them a little later, but right now, he still wanted to strangle that other red.

"That... That b***h insulted my treasure," he hissed to the Mindflayer.

Glancing back to the stupid red, his eye flared with anger for the moment as she suddenly snagged one of his kobold eggs. Oh no. She wasn't about to insult his hoard and take an egg. However, before he could snap at her for it, he blinked as the dragon's voice suddenly went considerably deeper. That aside, she mentioned something about a vote.

Growling lowly, he sneered and turned his attention to Riley, who was keeping him from chasing the pair.

"That damn red actually insulted it."

Riley was just glad to see them leaving. She could tell that Jericho was far from calm, and when she turned back to her friend, her own eyes were still stark and red. She wrapped her arms around his waist and patted his back in comfort.

Relax. She soothed. No. Seriously. Please relax. Her second request sounded a little less like comfort, and a little more like her own desperation. I'm not sure who she was, or why she thought for one moment that she had any right to insult you, but your treasure is vast and impressive. She has never even seen it, so how would she know? She doesn't deserve your anger. Not a drop of it. So please..

Her gaze turned back to the two, just as the dragon came by and took one of his eggs. Really? Really? If Riley saw that ghoul again, she wasn't necessarily sure she would be able to hold her temper, let alone stop Jericho from holding his anymore..

That was impressively rude. She hissed quietly, suddenly feeling her own anger tempered in with the flush of hate she had been feeling due to Jericho.

Letting out a huff, Jericho slowly relaxed as Riley wrapped her arms around him to try and ease his frustrations. She had a point. That damn dragon hadn't even seen a piece of his hoard before; Riley did. If anyone knew about how his treasure pile was, it was the Mindflayer and well... she just said that his treasure was vast and impressive.

Feeling the rage ebb away, he brought his own arms up to hug his friend firmly, nodding as well.

"You're right," he said in a much calmer tone now, "And.. I'm sorry for getting you pissed off as well."

Riley's eyes diffused to a dull, calming grey, and she shook her head gently. Don't worry about it. I have just as quick of a temper as you do. I think, perhaps, we're going to be doing this to each other for a long, long time.

The tone in which she said the phrase didn't quite sound very disappointed at the prospect, either.

Besides. She was a jerk. Still, you must remember to maintain a certain sense of decorum at this booth. You are, after all, running for office.

She patted his back, and slowly let him go. How have things been going over here for you, anyway? Other than.. that, of course.

A crack of a smile appeared at her comment. Yes.. between the two of them, there was bound to be a lot of shared anger in the future. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing, however. Then, nodding, Jericho looked towards his booth. She had another point there.

As Lizzy said... image meant a lot.

There was also what that Incubus had said, which kinda ran along that same vein. It seemed he was going to need to try and control himself here, but that was a lot easier said than done.

"Not a whole lot really. Just been getting a visitor or two now and then. Seems like your booth is drawing all the attention," he chuckled.

At the mention of it, Riley snuck a quick look past his shoulders, over to her booth. The cannon fired just as she looked, and the crowd of people seemed to bustle in excitement. She wasn't even there, and it was a success.

Maybe that said something about how little all of that flash and pizzazz really had to do with her. She slipped away from her perch and looked down at the table beside her.

Yes. Well. Having a cannon will have that effect. It's not me they're interested in, anyway. It's the booth. But I'm glad they are enjoying it. She plucked at her nails in agitation. I should probably return, before Christof blows his own head off.

She didn't look very excited about the prospect, but perhaps this was because only Jericho could see her right now.

Tilting his head as Riley seemed not entirely thrilled to go back, Jericho smiled softly and gave his friend an affectionate nudge.

"Well... if you need help or would like me to kidnap you away from your booth for a bit, I'm available for both of those things," he grinned before turning away briefly to fix up a few of the pins on his table.

While he was happy that Riley's booth was getting attention, he didn't want her to feel stressed or anything about it and all.

I'll call you if I need it accidentally burned down. She teased, before straightening rigid, breathing in deeply, and returning to the confident and imposing figure she prided herself on. It was this figure that took it's leave, returning to her booth purposefully.

A single thought travelled back to the dragon, though she didn't turn to emit it. Good luck.

Jericho thought back with a smirk while watching her walk off. Taking in a deep breath, he went back to manning his booth as usual.

Jeremy was a lot more worse for wear than the last time he visited this booth. Still covered in fishguts, still with the tentacled hat clinging to a leg with a leech on the other...today was a terrible day. He wanted to go home and work a punching bag until he couldn't feel anything anymore. It was THAT kind of day. He was all intent on storming right past this booth when he saw the eggs, something he had missed before...and then drew the golem's exhausted looking eyes (which was no longer a trick) to observe the dragon.

"Oh, it's you." Keep the disdain from your voice, Jeremy. Yes that's it, this one was one of them but so far hasn't done anything! "How goes the campaigning?" Mild conversation in lieu of booth-beating; it was hard to destroy a booth when the Dragon was sitting there and besides...the eggs.

"What are those?" A long, clawed hand pointed to the minis in question.

Waiting around, Jericho soon noticed one of the newer prospective students coming on around once more. Man, she looked pretty bad off too, and not because of how tired she looked. It was a sloth demon. Of course she would be tired.

But, something must have happened at one of the other booths around the festival.

"Not too bad," he replied while looking her over, "Er... what happened to you?"

When she motioned to the eggs, the dragon grinned.

"Oh. Those are kobold eggs. Hey Gimbal!" he called out while explaining. Before long, the blue kobold came around from behind the table, looking to his master to see what he wanted, "They can be pretty useful little buggers if you train them well."
