Owl wandered in because she saw shiny stuff. She didn't understand what it was, but she liked it. Wait, forget that they were shiny... THEY WERE ROCKS. Rocks. Mannnn, rocks were cool! Owl liked rocks. And shiny, glittery stuff. And rocks. So, like, this was awesome. "I GET ROCK FROM THING!" she yelled as she started to play. She did something but she was too distracted to notice- she'd recognized ASH. From the interweb! ON THE GROANSPRING! "a**! a**!"

The claw moved for her this time! Sadly this revelation had excited Ash so much she pushed the stick all the way forward, the crane dropping, scuttling over the stones, and grabbing absolutely nothing. She'd turned away, distracted with reaching up to reassure herself that her seed pouch was tucked securely away (ever since dropping that one seed as she tried to run from that fishy booth she'd been anxious about it).
The shouting almost didn't register in her mind. Someone was harassing someone else about having a fine a**?
Turning she saw the little bear-thing. She'd met it in the library. Her first reaction was to recoil slightly. Ash's second was to realize that she... what was her name again? Whatever. She had been calling out to her.
The banshee gave a small, confused smile and pointed to herself. "Well, glad to know your eyes are working to see. But uhm, I don't really know if I swing that way for uhm... your kind. Didn't I see you during Open House?"

Owl had a blank expression as she said "Hello asslin! I not know what mean, we not on swing at ground play, but Owl like swinging too!" Ash was so silly! Owl shook her head at Ash's silliness. Then she started to dance because she had a song in her head that was very groovy and needed to be danced to.

Oh.
Oh.
The banshee's face fell from it's tolerant smile to flat blankness. "...It's. It's Aislin. Ash-Lynn. Do you have a lisp or something? Get a new tongue." She wasn't sure if rotbears could switch out body parts like patchworks could but oh well. They SHOULD be able to. They were all dead anyway.
And then she started to dance. And Ash was officially Creeped Out. Leaning away she motioned towards... any direction but towards Owl. "I'm. Uhm. I'm going that way. Bye."
She headed off into the crowd, never looking back.

Adyian was determined to win at the crane game at least once at this festival. Walking back to the machine and gave it a look over as he was choosing on what rock he was going to try for. Once he had his target in sight he pushed the buttons to move the claw over to his target to see if he could get it.
Once again he thought that the claw had gotten his target, but once the claw started to move up ward the rock was dropped. Huffed a little as he was going to get one of them one of these times as he walked off and would come back later on.

Ulmuka's bare pockets compelled him to try the crane game again. He'd run out of the festival's currency and everytime he got a seed he'd spend it in the same breath. It was unusual to see the strix looking annoyed but apparently being poor got to him a little bit.
His attempts with the crane seemed futile. He'd half a mind not to try again but he knew, inevitable this game would have his attentions once more.
"Oh cruel mistress..." Muka muttered.

This game was oddly addicting.
Levia had not won even once, yet here she was, standing before the clawed contraption with her fingers flexing at ready. One of these days, those glass-bellied prizes would defy gravity, snug up into the claw, and drop right out for her. With this mental encouragement, the grombie pressed the start button.

The crane...Sin had seen such machines before at the maul but her mother had never let her play before. Their rigged darling, she would always say before leading her off to some fancy new boo-tique or a fitting session with an up and coming designer. Sin wanted to try one though she was stubborn like that, tell her she couldn't win and it only made her more eager to dis-prove the theory. She grinned and walked up to the machine, well this didn't look that hard... She gripped the controls and moved the crane trying to like it up with a rock and then she pressed a button watching it lower. Pshh this was too eas-what?! She watched as the crane grazed the rock lightly moving it a bit but no-where near picking it up or flipping it. "Hey! I was right on it!" She huffed and crossed her arms, this thing wasn't going to beat her. She'd be back.

Once again, Yroul was back. Hello old friend. Prepare for doomsday. The Decombear eagerly clutched the controls, face pressed up to the glass. This was his moment, his time to shine. He didn't even care about the rock anymore. He just wanted to best this infernal machine. Rigged or not, he would get something from it. And if he didn't?
He would hit it.
And so he did. Again and again, he hit the darn machine. Dumb thing.
"I'll be back."

Oppa approached the machine once again, rubbing his hands greedily together. "You were fruitful for me once, let's make this an encore performance."
Oppa grabbed the joystick and jammed his index finger onto the start button. The machine started up and the music and lights started flashing. Carefully he aimed at a pile of rocks that seemed easily obtainable, he waited for the time to count down and then just as the claw was about to reach the rocks, he spazzed and pressed the button again! TOO SOON! The claw closed around nothing and went back to its starting position.
Oppa stood there for a second, the rage building in his eyes... He gave the machine a slight kick, but realizing that it was his own impatient nature that caused him the prize, he walk away without another sound.

The line of students playing the crane game reminded the winged ghoul of the game booth during Open House. Not to mention the gaming consoles back in her room. It's been a while since she last played anything so she figured she could see how much she's learned since she bought the consoles from Mac.
The thought of the reaper boil reminded her of the prom and suddenly she felt the need to change her train of thought. So she flew up to the machine and tried her luck.

A trip to the fair grounds wasn't complete until one had tried to crane game, even if Mia had yet to win anything from said crane game. So she waited in line patiently (for she wasn't the only one who wanted a free seed). Taking big steps each time the older participates stepped forward. Finally making her way up to the game she quickly took hold to give it a try once more.

HARD ROCK sn = Mediciner
Four times. Four times had to be the charm, right? Vero stepped up to the machine and gave it a try once more.
The little spirit wasn't sure how he did it, but the crane was more responsive now. Manipulating it with care, he managed to nab a seed and drop it in the prize box. Vero blinked, plucked the seed up, and patted the machine for a job well done.

Mo walked back over to the tank she really wanted something shiny and they were all in the tank. She tried something different and tried concentrating on the game which yielded some luck. However, as soon as she picked it up it slipped right out of the crane's hand. Her eye twitched as she took a deep breath and just walked away.

The time had come again to tackle this infernal crane game once again. Despite crushing defeats twice in a row, Zen would persevere. The skeleton monk pulled up their sleeves, gripping the controls once more. No more praying to Crane game deities or guardians of Amityville, no more relying upon the proverbs which mysteriously lingered within Zen's memory- this was all This One. Peering at the game with focus from behind This One's woven basket, they began.
Yet, the object fell out of those slippery claws with a kind of smugness, once more. This One shook their head; well, this was all right. They would not mind trying doZens of times, and then some day, they might unmask the secrets to winning this game.
