"Well It was a good show" Seita chuckled at the young lady yelling at what appeared to be her boyfriend as she attempted to motivate the soon to be confrontation between the three. " Dont worry im not in the mood for it.. Plus the food has gotton cold." He blew a slow breath at the hot plate in his hands as the food chilled slightly as if it had ben in the refrigerator for a few minutes. "If you're not a ninja I would love to train you" Seita became blunt. If Musica truelly had no idea of his potential, Seita could help him grow, and in turn make an ally for his future plans. "Im not the best around but I plan on it. Well.. I plan on Being the best.. A normal Ninja's dream" Not exactly what Seita planned on doing but it was too soon to trust Musica. For now he said what he felt Musica needed to hear. After a few ugly looks Seita placed his now cold food on a nearby chair and nodded towards the monitor on the other end of the room. " Lets change the scenary." He started to walk away from the monitor they had ben stationed when a strange man entered the room. "Huh? Music Boi?" Seita looked at Musica. "A friend of yours?" The man appeared drunk by the looks of it. Maybe it was an old friend or relative of Musica, No matter what the answer Seita was determined to find out. Their was something about Musica that didnt sit right, and at the same time, It was as if he knew him from long ago. A past life perhaps. Quote: Naw ill fight someone else.. im still mad lol.

"Hm? Hunh... Oh. My bad~" The man chuckled as he turned around on the couch to let his head rest on folded arms that rested on the back of the couch. His bright blue eyes twinkled with mischief as they rolled in his head to keep focus on the two before him. "Didn't know you had found yourself a little friend~ He mused as he held up in little finger to symbolize that he actually meant more then what he said. "No worries though, drum on little drummer boy... drum on. I'll be here later if you need me, oh and if you see Kira, let him know I'm still looking for him." He finished before slumping back down in his seat to let his eyes wonder the ceiling lazily.

Oasis smiled and dusted herself off "Okay, Oasis did her best. I hope that you feel better now." she states with a smile on her face before walking away from the two. Some odd new character had entered into the area and she was wondering who he was. Oasis was also sort of bored and needed something else to do. She was waiting for Hatsuma to show back up as well so she didn't know what else she should be doing anyway. So she wandered across the room to take a seat back where she could look out at the fights which were supposed to have ended, or be ending really soon, she wasn't entirely clear on the details.

Hayato looked over to Oasis when she stated that she wasn't insulted and smiled lightly. The poison was really starting to irritate him, but then she stated that she wanted to try again with a new idea. He nodded lightly and closed his eyes, focusing on his breathing so he wouldn't cough at this moment again. He waited and felt something on his back, but wasn't sure on what it exactly was but it wasn't a concern as of this moment. He relaxed himself and waited until she started to speak again. He waited a second longer to see if his body would react to the poison or not. There was nothing. Hayato grinned slightly and looked over to Oasis. "Thank you... thank you very much Oasis. If there is any way that I can re-pay you just let me know." Just at that moment the PA system came on and announced the beginning of the finals. Hayato nodded, then bowed to both Aya and Oasis as he quickly rushed off to face his next opponent.

Saikoro grumbled loudly to himself, his free hand pulling at the skin of his face in a tired motion as he pulled the half drained vodka bottle to his lips and chugged a bit more of its contents down his gullet. He could hear the rumbling in the background of the other VIP members as they discussed something along the lines of a poison before their voices were drowned out by the calling on the PA system for the final matches of each block. "But I haven't even gotten a buzz yet.." He murmured to himself before pulling his sunglasses out from what should have been his kunai holster. With slow hands he pushed them on the bridge of his nose and pushed them securely back onto his face, dimming the light of the room on his eyes instantly. "Feels like I skipped the whole fun process of drinking and went straight to the hang over... God my head is banging..." The man murmured rather loudly as he raised himself from the couch and exited the room after Hayato himself.

Kyu sat in his seat from earlier, surveying the battlefield of the next match, Saikoro Daisuke vs. Hayato... Nothing... He appeared to have no last name at all... no clan, no last name. Kyu would have puzzled over it more, if he didn't have other things on his mind. The last words he heard over Saikoro's mouth were strange. The words played back in his mind exactly as he head them only minutes before, Heh... still haven't grown but still have a smart head. Don't feel so bad, Kyu... at least this time after fighting me... you wont end up in the hospital.
"What the ******** is that supposed to mean, we never faught for real like that before, and he never sent me to the-" Kyu froze, then reasoned, "Sai Orasakai and Sorain Orasakai are the only people ever to put me in the hospital... The Orasakai Brothers... were the last ninja I fought, besides the Hyuuga in the last fight. Before my last tourney fight... was a giant snake... Rippuru... and a bartender... but those hardly count."
"But... But there's no way that Saikoro could be an impostor... Although he seemed to suffer from some sort of depression, he fit right back into society after his squad was killed by Sai Orasakai... Wait... not exactly..." Kyu's mind raced with ideas. He connected link after link in his head. The picture was becoming clear, as if he were playing connect-the-dots or painting the portrait by numbers.
When I first met him, he was ghostly, withdrawn, he was angry, but he seemed to be calculating everything he did in a very precise manner. Now, he's a totally different person. I pointed that out earlier... He's friendly, helpful, playful, and casual. He... he blamed it on his teammates death, but that just doesn't feel right...
What if- What if he was trying to be someone else when we first met. If I'm right... Sai Orasakai, being the man who killed Saikoro's team, took over the role as Saikoro in the Mist Village. His first attempt at being Saikoro was rocky at best... it would be the reason he had to calculate every movement...
But what if he grew tired of the charade, or let his guard down... his true personality would come out, couldn't it? Only people who knew Saikoro before the personality switch would even notice. Only people like Kira, Hibiki, and I... and anyone else... no one else... he team is dead, aren't they... Kyu made a fist and looked out into the swirling snow cloud that the match would be taking place in. His face was tense, and his gills were flared angrily. He had to pay full attention to this match, this scheme made far too much sense to just let the notion go.
Saikoro's personality change, the lack of witnesses of his escape from Sai, almost no one to vouch for his pre-Frost persona, Saikoro and Sai's similair fighting styles, the words that he said after he last match... it all pointed back to Saikoro and Sai being one and the same.

Kyu put his hand into a chakra-focusing seal, and concentrated his energy to his face. His face burned for a moment, like it was shocked with electricity, but then his senses grew sharp and exact. His eyes dilated until his pupils took up the majority of his eye-space to absorb much visual information as humanly possible. His sense of smell was on-par with the greatest hunting animals on earth. More importantly, the selachimorph electro-sense nodes on his face were awakened, and began to send all sorts of information from the people around him.
Every person in the stadium created their own unique signal. Every time they made a motion, Kyu could feel it with his electroreceptors. However, it wasn't the crowds that he wanted to focus on, it was the two ninja on the battlefield. He focused his senses to the battlefield until the rest of the stadium was just ambient, low-volume static. Now, he could see what others couldn't on the snow-clouded field of battle.
Saikoro was still drunk as a skunk out there. His movements were loose and undisciplined, just as before. Kyu felt Saikoro raise his glass up to Hayato, then put the bottle up to his lips again. Just as he did in Kyu's last match, Saikoro began the match acting with behavior unbecoming of a shinobi. He shuffled his feet in the snow, and knocked some of it off the edge of the platform he stood on. As if unaware that he was in a fight, he plopped down and took a seat at the edge of the pillar.
Kyuzaku watched with anticipation when the first attack was made by Hayato. While he appeared to be stretching for some Taijutsu, he was actually putting together a string of carefully made hand seals. Kyu was unsure what ninjutsu Hayato used, but it seemed to create a response from Saikoro. The man slipped off the edge of the pillar towards the stormy waters below.
Falling from that distance and into waters like the ones at the bottom of the arena made it impossible to use the Art of Water Walking. Even if he managed to land in the water, the force of impact would likely break every bone in his legs. Without those, he'd be pulled below the surface and drown in an instant! While Kyu was on the edge of his seat at the move, the freefaller seemed less than worried about falling a distance like that.
Saikoro took a swig from his bottle, and his other hand reached around behind his head. In an instant, Saikoro threw out his arm did an insane rotation, just before stopping dead in midair. Kyu puzzled over the action for just a moment (as he couldn't see the sword, as it doesn't create electrical pulses). When Saikoro bounced up and took a seat again, the sharky genin made a realization, "It was his sword, dur..."
Kyu had a bad feeling about this fight. Saikoro, so far, seemed more 'playful' than before. So much as to gamble his life on a freefall. One wrong move, and he would have hit the water with enough force to kill himself.
"If he can d**k around with Hayato that much... Hayato doesn't stand a ghost of a chance when Saikoro gets serious with the fight... For his sake, I hope the kid doesn't land a hit."

After taking the elevator from ground level, which had been turned back on due quick repairs, Notwen walked into the VIP room. He saw a bunch of the contestants congregated in a mass along with a person he didn't recognize. The only screens active were the two showing the fights between Hayato and Saikoro Daisuke, and Takera and Hatsuma. He was really interested to see if the guy who just beat him would fare against the arachnid kunoichi he was teamed with during the second exam. When the dark-skinned blonde had approached the chairs by the monitors the desire to understand what was taking place in the bout between Saikoro and Hayato filled him. "Here we are, Ishinon. Pertty neat huh?" said Notwen to the boy behind him. It looked like he was feeling better, which was a good thing. "Make yourself comfortable. The refreshments are over by the back and the chairs are right over by the screens." The crippled Uchiha moved away to look around at the place. The window that Aizen had broken to make his getaway earlier had also been mended. What the heck!? wondered the crippled Uchiha. He had forgotten that he had the awareness dome active, and when he looked around to find the source Kyuzaku was spotted sitting on a chair. The blue-skinned genin had a heightened sense jutsu active and was most likely ignoring everything else due to what Notwen felt emanating from him. I wonder if he got over that incident from the second round... thought the dark-skinned blonde as he moved as quietly as he could to the area with the refreshments.

Nova awoke to a group of shinobi scattered around the VIP room that he really didn't know. He rubbed his eyes as he stood up and let out an obnoxious yawn, letting his arms streach themselves out makeing his back crack causeing a sort of relief. "Damn how long have i been out?" He then clanced around the room looking to see if anyone was looking at him hopeing not because he didn't mean to be an attention seeker. As he glanced at the faces he came across a familure one. The boy aws dark skinned and had blond hair and was also one of the two people who he had become friends with. He walked over with excitement in his step. "Hey Notwen!" He said with cheer in his voice. "How did your match go?" He asked hopeing that he had won.

As they entered the elevator Ishinon was pretty much back to like he was before, just a bit tired but otherwise fine. It felt weird being in it, having never been in a elevator like this before. Ishinon followed Notwen in to the room as the elevator had stopped at the floor of the VIP room. Ishinon saw people he had never met before and didnt know anything about, as his eyes turned to the two screens that was active, showing people fight, and Ishinon looked away as he wasn't interested in their fighting. Its pretty nice, I'll get something to drink now Ishinon said while walking over to the refreshments ahead of Notwen.
Ishinon, grabbed a drink, not sure what it was as he didn't bother reading or asking what it was. Interesting place, not sure if I fit in here thought. It feels weird being on the side watching the fights instead of being in them. Went through Ishinon's mind as he had never really watched anyone else fight not like this, the closest he had been before was random fights in the places he had been kept before. Ishinon was at the chairs as Notwen went to get some refreshments, seeing someone suddenly starting to talk with Notwen not sure who Nova was but he observed them wondering if Notwen knew him to, it sounded like they knew each other from how Nova talked and acted.

Notwen's head jerked around upon hearing his name. Scanning the area behind himself quickly, the dark-skinned blonde spotted Nova coming towards him. "Nova?!" he asked, surprised to see the genin come out of the woodwork. "Where were you this whole time?" Once Nova had gotten closer, Notwen began to talk in a decent tone, not too loud, but not too low either. "Well as for my match, i just lost my quarter-final against Takera Uchiha." The crippled Uchiha spotted trace amounts of yellow crust on the corners of the young boy's eyes. He's been sleeping the whole time! I wouldn't be surprised if he missed every other fight that was going on. It was at that time that Notwen noticed yellow flashes of movement on one of the monitors. What the hell....!? It was a small rodent-like creature wearing a sword that was too big for it on its back. The creature then unsheathed the sword and tossed it from hand to hand as if it were weightless. That's... One of the Legendary Seven Swords of the Mist! This must be the guy i've been hearing whispers about this whole time. The dark-skinned blonde kept watching as the yellow rodent tossed the sword over to Hayato, who refused to use it. This seemed to have struck a nerve in the rodent, for rage overcame its brief show of sadness. Red eyes replaced the innocent brown ones as it summoned a tidal wave and rode it down on the pillar, while at the same time summoning a bolt of thunder from the heavens. When the electrified water had cleared, Notwen was surprised to see a wall of stone standing in the way and Hayato jumping from behind it to launch his next attack. "Wow. That Hayato kid's good." he whispered to himself. "Oh yeah! Nova, there's another new genin from the village i want you to meet." With that said, Notwen waved Ishinon over.

Nova smiled at Notwen as he was asked about sleeping the whole time. He rubbed his head kinda embarassed but simply responded with "Well i seem to have been. The last thing i remember is falling back from a force and hitting my head on the food table. Next thing i wake up from a sleep in the chair over there." he pointed over to where he awoke. He then noticed as Notwen became sucked into the match on the monitors. "Wow a rodent weilding a sword, summoning water and lightning? And all this is what i got to look forward to along with more. Holy cow." He thought as he turned back to Notwen who informed him that he was going to introduce him to another genin from the same village. "Sounds fun" He said with a cheerful smile on his face. He waited as Notwen motioned for a kid to come join the two in conversation.

"The... hell... am... I... watching?" Kyu said slowly, sitting back in his chair. The introduction of a rodent-shaped animal made this match... interesting... to say the least. It moved about, and seemed to be able to handle Kubikiribōchō like a baton. Its voice pierced through the storm; it screeched in tounges only a demon would understand. Each movement of the mouse after that was just as random, just as insane.
Kyu truly couldn't comprehend what he was witnessing. All he could figure was that Saikoro... or Sai... was humiliating Hayato in his own, twisted way. Kyu couldn't watch this slapstick powershow anymore. Kyu turned off his sense enhancing jutsu, and got up from his seat.
For just a moment, Kyu became lightheaded from the sudden movement and change of senses, he held himself steady with the seat in front of him. His eyes opened, and he looked into the dense blizzard, just as the sounds of crashing waves and roaring thunder drowned his hearing. After that, everything was very silent, ignoring the ambient sounds of a raging blizzard.
Skill wise... personality wise... he's how I assume Sai would be. There are still a few missing pieces to this puzzle. All I need is another clue, and the mystery would fall apart. Kyu took one last look at the storm before turning about face and leaving his row of seats. The silence made it seem like the game was over, and they'd be calling the match's outcome very soon.
Kyu walked up a stair or two, then stopped. From the corner of his eye, he caught a familiar character. The fishy ninja glanced sideways, and saw Notwen and a few other ninja chatting inside the VIP room just a short walk away. Kyu shrugged his shoulders, then headed towards it.
He stepped up a few more stairs, and walked a short distance to get to the door. The genin stopped at the door, and leaned against it with his elbow, gazing around at the other ninja in the room. He then meandered over to the window and spoke loudly to grab Notwen's attention, "Hey, bro. How'd your matches go?"

Notwen watched the unmoving Ishinon for a few more seconds before smiling and turning his attention back to Nova. "Sorry. He's kind of awkward when it comes to strangers. It might help if you go to him and chat it up. By the way, try not to mention too many details on fights. Ishinon has had some kind of past trauma so anything might trigger a short migraine episode." The dark-skinned blonde patted the young swordsman-in-the-making on the shoulder. "If anything comes up call me." With that said he left the genin to his own devices and walked over to the window close to the chairs where Kyu was. Notwen had a lot to think about now that the exams were over for him, at least for the time being. The crippled Uchiha had not gotten far in his thoughts when he heard the fishy mist genin's voice close by. He flinched at the volume Kyu had used and turned to face blue-skinned boy. Wiggling a finger in his ear, Notwen began to speak. "The first one against Ichimaru Uchiha was pretty easy. I was able to end my opponent in less than fifteen minutes. After the match, however, he decided to pull a fast one and caused some trouble elsewhere. I fought him again at the scene of the crime, where he proved to be a formidable opponent. In the end i overpowered him again and left him tied up for the proper authorities to handle him. My next match was against Takera Uchiha. If it wasn't for being tired after my fight with Ichimaru i would have performed a lot better. I was too drained to put up much of a fight against him." The dark-skinned blonde scratched his head. "There is one thing that puzzled me. For some reason he was using ice element techniques. This guy has been pretty shady for the entire duration of these exams. I wonder why he decided to fight with his mask of for the duration of our fight..."

While the news of the apparently psycotic Ichimaru came as no surprise, the hairs on the back of Kyu's neck stood on end when he heard about the opponent Notwen had in his last match, "Takera Uchiha was Mr. Invisible? You don't say... I guess the plot thickens, huh?" Kyu resisted the urge to hunt down Mr. Mask and give him a royal beat-down until he came clean about his identity. Instead, he remained calm about the revalation. At this competition, freaking out was a bad, bad idea. Non-scheduled fighting would land him with either a hefty fine, imprisonment, or death! Worse yet, he might get looked down upon by the ninja community!
Kyu looked out of the glass at the swirling storm, "My first match was against a Hyuuga who used all Taijutsu named Jikku. I won that fight, then fought Saikoro Daisuke, the guy who's fighting that Hayato kid in the storm. In both fights, I made some key mistakes. Overall, I won the first fight because the guy simply couldn't fight me offensively, which left him with few options. In the second, I found myself between a rock and a hard place, so to speak. The attacks Saikoro was using against me were deadly and were breaking my defense. Either I died, or I died. Instead, I called a surrender." Kyu sucked on his teeth and surveyed what he could of the battle. He was surprised that there still wasn't a win/lose call on the match. Briefly, he glanced over at the Uchiha with cold, steely eyes and said, "Y'know, being poisoned didn't help either, bro. I owe you one for that."
Kyu looked back to the fight for a moment, then heard a familiar growl and a painful pull from his stomach. He ran his hand over his torso, and his face softened, "Aw crap... when was the last time I ate? I had a snack right before my battle with Saikoro. Hey, uh, bro... Is there any food around here? I'm starving, hehe."
