The person is one of the or 'The' guest of honor in the guild. A made up character. He will have done some major act of bravery outside the guild to warrant such an induction. Inside the guild mansion in the middle of no where.

Alright, I just whipped up a paint thing. It should be self explanatory.
For record, the green blips in the main hall are paintings of each crew member, Crow being above the Brown one, which is a grandfather clock. the green circle is a large piece of green marble, as opposed to the standard white that the rest of the hall features. At the front, there is a large oriental silk rug.
Every room is decorated in standard Victorian theme, complete with cherry and oak doors, which are the ---I I--- 's that are placed around. the grey blips are fun fun secret passages.
More on the decor, natural earth tones are dominant, and a great deal of wood trim is on anything that is not already wood. Beds are large, carpets are plush and each room is fitted with it's own differing paintings and plants.
I suggest that something fun is hidden in the library and in the clock.
The secret room should be filled with either blackmail, stolen artwork, weaponry, bodies, or anything else that a proper noble should not have.
Servants are in rooms adjacent to the kitchen, which I Just realized I should have added on.
All of the sleeping quarters are up the stairs, and under there is a secret room to a basement, which could either just be filled with wine and food, common basement things, or more dirt/stolen items/weaponry/bodies.
The paintings might be significant, or just plain set the mood.
Themes that I suggest are famous battles, landscapes, flowers/nature, religious artwork, or simply famous artists. Either way, the specifics of the furnishings should match the theme set by the paintings, possibly differing with each room.

I've gotta say I did not expect this out of you.. amazing.. well.. I see no need to fix or adjust anything so your next task is.. dun dun dun.. finding the pictures to fit the rooms.. and one or two examples of the actual complex itself. Very nicely done ^_^

Off hand, I think of Resident Evil's Mansion. Similar usage of obscure passages and paintings and clocks, but no romping dead.

Also, if any of you have seen the movie "Clue" (great one, I might add.), the mansion is similarly set up in decor. That is a good way to think of the place.

In the line of paintings, I was thinking that we use what ever is posted in the art section along with famous works. Possibly some of Renoir, Monet or another impressionist for the lounge or study. Another choice would be the one of the French Revolution, with all of the people piling around and the shirtless woman with the flag.
The library might only have portraits, or no paintings at all.
Individual rooms... hmm... I would suggest landscapes.
Dinning room, I would go for a still life. One of the smears of food, wine with the lobster and pheasant. Something food related, or flowers.

If you are looking for the ACTUAL things for me to post, it might take a much longer time frame.

Ok... interesting idea.. but not what I was talking about.
I meant more in the line of the picture that goes under the title of the thread.. similiar to the way Crow set up the Christimas Ball.

Sorry guys, but some things have popped up off line, and I need to take care of them. I'm going to be scarse for a few days. And, I'm not going to be able to work on the thingy, I haven't gotten much done because of that anyways.

I'll see what I can dig up concerning pictures for the separate rooms.

By the way, wonderful job on the map Sovi. Impressive.

Here are some other rooms that we may be able to use.

Here is something that could be used for the library.

And here is something that could be used as a lounge of sorts.

I like the pics Crow.. we're going to have to find someone to look over the character listings and motives and such.. I wish I could do more but I have some new things that I'm trying to perfect and they absorb my time.

I hate getting grounded. It totally wrecks my schedule.
Anyway...what can I do?
If I have something that doesn't especially involve the computer, I should still be able to work on it even if I get grounded...again.

Oh yeah..I have seen Clue, and I love it. I was going to try and make a play based off of it, with several different twists..but when I told my dad my idea...he said it was slightly on the perverted side because I was using teenagers as my characters. He maintained that with adults, it can be humorous, but comedy and murderous teens don't mix.
I'm still thinking about doing it..but I don't know. stare

I think that would be a very interesting play, assuming you could pull it off the work the fact that Mrs. Peacock is only fifteen. That would be some damn fine satire.

Nice pictures, Crow. You seem to understand what I have difficulty articulating.

Gylian, if you are having difficulty getting characters figured out, I would be more than happy to help you with that, or just do them myself if you are that busy.

Alright, I have to focus on some offline things at the moment so I won' t be online as much as I normally am.. normally just like ten-twenty-thirty minutes every couple of hours... long enough to check my pms.. if anything problems pop up I want you to pm me at that moment.. chances are I'll check my pms in a little bit after that. Must go *poofs*

I'm going to begin creating the separate threads for all the rooms in the manor in the Events forum. I have the Art and Design department working on gathering pics of all the separate rooms.

Also in this RP are we to be playing as our Avis, or as some other characters? If this is to be an affiliate themed event we could indeed play this out as ourselves. Though it would be just as easy to play as other characters.
