When she was addressed, she showed no signs of hesitation as she nodded, grinning at Nuk, "I'm up for decorating, definitely! Unfortunately, I'm not much of a cook, so I'm afraid decorating is all you'll see me do..." She smiled sheepishly, "And if you don't mind some inexperience on my part with managing a project, I'll be more than happy to volunteer myself for the role of manager!" She could use the practice, and she needed something to get busy with anyway.
"... I might have to drag a friend of mine in to help with decorations then," She chuckled lightly at Junko's comment, flashing her a grin as she slipped her eyephone out, unlocking the screen, "He seems to like gambling from what I've seen and heard... I'll send him a text? Maybe he'll be able to provide some ideas~"

Okay, now he was..slightly more himself. Only slightly. She watched as he wrote something and leaned over her desk as if doing so would allow her to magically peek at what he was writing. "Did you spell my name right?" She teased warmheartedly, sitting back again after as she gave a soft 'ohhhh' of understanding at his explanation of Riley's history with sugar. Poor Riley!
W-wait, her?! Junko blushed a little as he laid responsibility on her, scratching at her cheek. "Okay! I can do that!" Hopefully he didn't mind if the bulk of her work was on groanspring. Everyone was on it. It would be so efficient to do it that way! "I think I have some ideas on how to go about it too."
She gave him a flat stare after that, sliding into it a little too easily. It was getting easier to play with Nuk. "I still don't believe you. You saw how many times I failed." Junko replied, brow raised. But the look she was giving Nuk disappeared in an instant when she heard Lizzy bring up a friend who knew gambling, gasping with delight and clapping her hands together once.
"That sounds like a great idea! The more the merrier, right?" She smiled at Nuk now. It was okay, right? He was the one running this after all.

While the reactions of the others were amusing, it seemed that it was time to get down to business here. Jericho stood by, listening carefully to what Nuk had to say about this whole process.
"Yeah, I'll be helping with the setup as well," he nodded, "I don't think I'd be too much of a help with cooking unless you need something roasted pretty quick."
Glancing over at Lizzy as she mentioned being the manager there, he grinned. He did recall her wanting to take over her family business so this would probably give her a little extra experience for dealing with that sort of thing.

"I actually had pretty good luck with the roulette wheel," She giggled softly at Junko before nodding, her face lighting up; Junko-excitement was clearly contagious, especially for Lizzy, "The more the merrier indeed~ Would be nice to spread out the manpower though! I think the F&B department might need more help..."
She caught the dragon's grin, and grinned back, "Ohhh? Well, I think you'll be perfect for putting up ceiling decorations, Mr Jericho~"

As talk finally settled into the actual meeting the ghost boil sort of zoned out. He wasn't about to volunteer for anything, but that wasn't to say he wouldn't help if asked. So long as the help was something he was good at, like heavy lifting.
He let Junko lean against him, resting his cheek against the side of her head so long as she was near enough to do so. Tuning into the conversation periodically when something of interest caught his attention. Such as Riley's sugar addiction and the sign ups for prom court.
It struck him then that he hadn't actually thought to ask his date if she wanted to go. Sure it had been assumed, but not asking seemed a little to him like taking for granted that she'd go with him. Obviously she wouldn't be going with anyone else, but that wasn't the point. As the ghoul resumed her casual leaning against him the boil turned his head so he could whisper at her ear. "You and me, right babe?"

Xiu had remained rather quiet up until Nuk spoke, having watched the other conversation unfold with clear confusion. She was relieved when it turned onto something that she could understand, and she thought over the options carefully.
"I can cook," She piped up, her voice a little meek. There were a lot of students here, now that she looked around. "So once Junko chooses the dishes, I can give her a hand in actually making them. If needed, I can try to lend my assistance with decorating too...?" She couldn't sew, but she was pretty handy with paper crafts.
Her gaze moved through the crowd until she spotted Vaith and Ren. Whispering a quiet "excuse me for a bit" to Lizzy and Junko, she weaved through the students in her way and stopped directly in front of the two boils, unaware that they had just been talking.
"Are you two going to volunteer too?" She asked softly, knowing better than to raise her voice when other students were talking and volunteering, "Things would go a lot quicker with more help, I'm sure."

"It's a big school. We'll need as many people cooking as we can get." Junko nodded to Xiu, smiling again. She gave a little cheer as Jericho confirmed he'd help with setup. Yes! Boils for heavy lifting! She was definitely going to rope Seiji into carrying things for her without a doubt. Though she did pause to imagine Jericho roasting things for a second. She laughed, crossing her arms across her stomach and leaning forward a bit. It was so silly! All she could imagine was a teensy little chubby version of his dragon self sitting on the counter and grumpily spitting up fireballs to quickly roast and bake things. Too bad doing so would only cook the outside, not the inside as well.
Gross.
Wait, Lizzy had good luck?! Not faaaaair! Junko pouted at the spider demon. "You and the wheel were clearly in cahoots then. It prefers pretty demons." Though that couldn't be true. Riley was a pretty demon and she had failed at the wheel as well. Junko was only teasing. She liked Lizzy! She was so sweet! "I'm okay with Lizzy being the manager." Junko gave a little nod. Lizzy was confident, Junko would be more than happy to follow requests from her.
A whisper in her ear made her pause, blinking and looking at Seiji with surprise. "Of course!" She whispered back with a huge smile, some of her hair curling into shapes that suspiciously resembled hearts. "We need to find out what you're wearing, by the way. I've checked and the boil needs to match the ghoul, and I've already started my dress." Junko told him in a whisper, pressing a kiss to his cheek before she turned back to the rest of the group.

Aislin had remained near Riley, in fact slightly behind her, as more and more people filed in. She recognized Calder from that Swim Squad booth and then there was Seiji! She was about to call out to him but... he just made his way straight to Junko. Her expression darkened slightly as she remained tucked back behind the mindflayer as they spoke together, getting closer and closer and closer.
It wasn't until Nuk began to speak that she was broken from her thoughts. She brightened a little, leaning to one side of Riley to listen to the list of things that the monster rattled off in an almost bored manner. She nearly floated off the ground with pride as he mentioned her as the DJ and gave her the duty of taking on music suggestions.
Finally she stepped out from where she stood behind Riley, smile fit charmingly. "If you think of anything just tell me! Or find me somewhere and tell me." She gave a little shrug. "Or you know, make some suggestions in a box or something. There needs to be more slow songs!" Not as helpful as Junko was being... but, oh well.

"Why, thank you! I think the wheel was jealous of your beauty and lovely hair, and decided to not let you win," She teased Junko back with a smile, although the compliment was really meant for the ghoul, "In all seriousness though, that wheel... Was kind of addictive. If you lost, you would want to try again... And if you won, you would want to see if your luck would hold. Gambling is dangerous, isn't it?"
What? Might as well say it since they were on the topic!
"Oh? You can cook, Xiu? You should teach me one day," She giggled softly before the ghoul slipped away to look for Ren and Vaith. Turning back to Junko, she blushed lightly, "Aw, you are? I appreciate that very much, and look forward to working with you!"

HEY.
Riley swiveled her body around in one swift movement, until her legs were on the other side of the table. This allowed her to kick them down, kicking Nuk's chair-leg hard, and hopefully breaking it to send him to the floor.
I am not addicted to sugar. Riley swiveled back around a moment later, and her legs crossed firmly in front of her once more. Her hand rested daintily on her knee. In fact, to those of you signing up to help with refreshments, I am quite willing to help taste test any creations. You will ignore Nukpana's warning. The last sentence was said with, perhaps, just a touch more force and demand than was needed.

Vaith listened to .. Well, he didn't know the skinwalker's name obviously but he did listen. He was silent after the announcement, presumably in thought over this topic .. or the previous topic. Or perhaps, a different topic. Or a mix of all three.
The focus of his mind soon became apparent when he turned towards Ren, in surprise, red eyes widening as he seemed to realize what Ren had just said. "You have a ghoulfriend?" He mouthed, seeing Xiu head their way. When she did approach them, with her question ready, He looked at Xiu, Vaith's questioning frown transformed into a skeptical frown, his drawl held a note of amusement and skepticism.
"You're the one who dragged me here. How could I come to this meeting without volunteering for something? I guess it doesn't really matter what I go for.. " He remarked to Xiu, turning swiftly towards Ren.
"What did you want to go for?"

Cady wandered the halls somewhat aimlessly. She'd long since given up on finding Smelly, and she hadn't really felt like unpacking (she was still stubbornly living off the linens and clothing that had been at the top of her bags). Instead, she decided to explore the campus, starting with the classrooms. She'd gotten a good look around the dorms while hunting for her elusive pet, and she hoped the rooms used for instruction were half as impressive as the demon dorms.
So far, she wasn't disappointed. Most of them were empty- there were an ]awful lot of classrooms - but she heard voices floating out of one partially open door. Well, voice might not be the best word. It was one of those brain tickles again. Something about...tasting things? Was this the tentacle ghoul again? What could they be up to?
She gasped dramatically. A secret sugar factory?! But everyone knew it was bad for you. Bad for your teeth. When you had as many teeth as Cady, this was a big deal. She'd never been allowed to have sugar, and had only been allowed sweets in small amounts. As far as she knew, that was totally normal. She was still a little dazed from the handful of cake she'd had in Claire's dorm.
She stuck her head in the door tentatively, sniffing. "I heard something about sugar- is this a class? What's going on? Are you guys smuggling sugar?" The last bit was said with more curiosity than admonishment.

He grinned and gave her a little squeeze. "I'll wear whatever you want me to, so long as it's manly." She had good taste, anything she picked would look good, probably. Hopefully. well, it'd make her happy, and that's what mattered, right? Right. "We can get dinner before hand, too." Somewhere fancy and candlelit. He might be a boil, but he could play the romantic when he wanted to. Besides, the happy Junko was, the happy he'd be.
That matter settled, the hungry ghost glanced up to see a familiar swirl of blonde hair floating on the air, and he smiled at the banshee. "Aislin, you're on the committee too?" He wasn't, he'd only stopped in to peek on Junko, but if the two ghouls were working together then he wanted to know about it.
It was odd that he hadn't noticed her sooner, but she'd been awfully quiet for a while now, and he had walked into a strange conversation.

Junko blushed at Lizzy's return teasing, giving her a sheepish smile as if to say she couldn't possibly seeing the same person Junko did. The hair? Yes, it was lovely. But she didn't have beauty. A small glance was cast toward Seiji as she thought that and she put her head on his shoulder, nodding and giggling. "Yeah, I couldn't stop trying to win..." She wanted to try again, but they'd run out of time. Open House had ended before she could have another go. Junko took a moment to take out her eyePhone, deciding to go ahead and send out an inquiry right this second about food over groanspring while she was thinking about it. Better safe than sorry!
She heard Riley's reaction to being called a sugar addict just as she hit send, looking up to tilt her head and just watch her. Quite willing to taste test, huh? Junko tucked her phone away. "That's exactly what a sugar addict would say, Riley." Junko told her simply, deciding right then that any sugar-based dish she made? She was not informing Riley. Riley could find out on her own, Junko would not be responsible. But speaking of food and beverage.. "No spiking the punch this time. I'm sick of seeing pink elephants on parade." A pointed look was given to Nuk then, pouting. There was still a pink elephant that bounced and floated around her room every now and then. It bothered the crap out of her.
"Slow songs? Mm..most of my music is Japanese, I don't think anyone would like it." Except...her, Tomoko, Seiji and perhaps Shun. Anyone else would be clueless. Junko pouted a little, feeling mildly useless in the music department. But that was okay! She was sure Aislin would find lots of music! Junko turned to Seiji again. "You could help her with music! You have so much of it, after all." She suggested cheerfully, though it was clear she was thinking 'See? See? I'm trying! I'm trying!' And she was. She was trying so hard to win Aislin's approval. Sigh. But his whispered answer to her comments to him made her pause, giggling and giving a nod. "I think you'll like what I have in mind." Oh yes. She had plans for him!
The promise for a date before prom had her perking up with a delighted gasp. "Really? Oh, Seiji! You're the best!" Junko cheered, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug and giggling happily. It'd been too long since they'd been on a date! She was so excited! Ohhh but they'd have to plan it carefully with decorating and her preparing food and then the prom itself. Oh dear.
..She believed in him!
Junko suddenly looked up when someone started accusing them of smuggling sugar, blinking. "Oh! Um...hi! What? No..."

"I actually agree with Nuk on not giving Riley any sugar," She raised a hand at the mindflayer's denial; she had seen the effects sugar had on her, and frankly? She did not want to experience that again. Ever. She liked her good impression of Riley to remain intact, thank you.
"Smuggling sugar? There's no need for us to do that," She giggled at the new student - one with wings and... A scorpion's tail? She smiled as she continued, "Halloween is full of it, after all... Also, hi! I don't believe we've met? I'm Lizzy~" She gestured briefly at herself, still smiling.
"Oh, yes! Completely forgot to send that friend of mine a text!" She chuckled lightly to nobody in particular before staring at the screen of her eyephone, starting on a new message; oddly enough, the message before this one included asking said person to go down for Sex Ed class.
'Mot! HEY. >o> We need someone in the prom committee to help with deciding on the decorations, and since the prom theme is gambling/casino-related, I figured you might be a good person to have on the team, if you don't mind helping? It's fine if you can't make it though! If you can, the meeting's being held in classroom 207! <3 Looking forward to hearing from you!'
She sent the text off and looked up just in time to hear the words 'pink elephant' from Junko. Immediately, she frowned, "Ah, yes... Do not want that to happen again..." She had arrived late and as a result, had been stopped from drinking the punch by Malodore at the time, but... That bowl of punch threw the party into chaos.
