Looking back at her, he again wasn't too sure what to make of what she said. It wasn't really something he heard. Well, compliments in general were a rarity really. Normally he was just told to work harder or something along those lines.
Shun hesitated again at the offer, feeling a little conflicted on what to say. After a few moments of silence, he just nodded slowly to her.
"Sure.." he said quietly. The reaper could technically treat it himself but maybe it wouldn't be too bad to let her do that instead.
Friendship was an oddity. That was for certain.

Mitsu waited poised for whatever he might say. When he gave her the go ahead Mitsu gently reached for the sore muscle on his leg again massaging it to help sooth the pain. She kept it up for a good while, even after her arms were screaming at her to give them a rest. Shun wasn't lying...she was going to be sore in the morning. It almost made her want to whimper again but she contained that urge.
Once she was done the wolf girl got up and took a seat on the bench beside Shun, her tail swishing idly behind her. "Do you think you're done for the day?"

"Probably. I don't think there's much else I can do with a pulled muscle," he said with a frown. Shun did his best to relax as she tried to ease said injury but the massage was both a little painful and soothing at the same time.
"And how are you feeling?" he asked while staring at her arms in particular once she had finished in the meantime.

"Eh....i-it's like you said. They are already a little sore." And a little sore now was going to be a lot sore later. That was something to look forward to. "I think a hot shower will help though, might help your leg too."

"Yeah probably," Shun frowned. Some heat would probably do his own leg some good as she said. He was still fairly annoyed with himself, slipping up and pulling a muscle like that. The reaper should have been more careful, but there was little he could do about it now aside from treating his injury now. It'd limit the amount of things he could do for a little while, however, which was also irritating.
"..Thanks by the way," he murmured before rubbing his leg a little gingerly himself.

Turning toward the reaper there was a faint smile he could not see. "You're welcome. Any time." And she meant that, she hoped he knew.
Standing from her seat she looked down at the reaper. "Are you going to need help back to the dorm?" She had thought about showering here but the more she thought about it showering back at her own dorm sounded best.

Nodding slowly to the girl, Shun looked at his leg before attempting to stand again. It was feeling better but it still hurt to put much weight on it.
"..Maybe a little," he murmured under his breath. A little help.. couldn't hurt he supposed. At least he hoped it couldn't.
"Are you ready to head on back right now?"

Maybe...a little. It was a start at least. Mitsu gave a nod offering Shun a hand up off the bench. "Yeah, I'm ready. I'll just shower back at my dorm." Once he was on his feet Mitsu was quick to step up beside him to offer her support. From there she headed back to the lockers...hmm...would it be to awkward to take him to his locker? No one else was here it seemed but...it was the boy's locker room.
Her slight hesitation was clear as she looked up at Shun, ears perked in that familiar questioning stance.

Nodding, Shun paused as he glanced towards the lockers when she did.
"..I'll need to get my things first," he murmured while keeping his eyes trained on the area. Mitsu was probably going to need to get her things as well.
"Guess I'll meet you back here in a bit," he frowned as he stood up with her help. It wasn't too far off so he should be able to make it to the lockers and change without a problem. At least that was what he hoped.

"O..Okay," Mitsu gave a nod letting Shun head to the boy's locker room. She watched him for a moment to make sure he was getting along okay before she headed to the ghoul's locker room to grab her own things. The lupine tried to hurry, changing quickly into her regular clothes and stuffing everything back into her bag and throwing it over her shoulder. That done she headed back out of the locker room and stood by waiting for Shun to return. She only hoped he was getting along okay.

Though he was a little slow with the process, Shun managed to get to his locker to fetch his belongings and stuff them into his bag. Walking definitely didn't feel too good but he just bore with it. Once he had everything, he carefully made his way back to where he would meet Mitsu.
It just had to be in the leg. It was always a little harder to hide an injury to his legs than a few other places. Regardless how hard he tried, he probably still had somewhat of a limp to his step.
Seeing Mitsu waiting there, he nodded to her while standing by to see if she was all set.

Hearing the reaper's footfalls even before his return, Mitsu faced the direction of the locker room where he would emerge. When he stepped up to her she made her way to his side to help brace him up so that he wouldn't have to put so much weight on his injured leg.
"I'm ready when you are." She said softly, shuffling her backpack into a more comfortable position.

Shun shifted a bit uncomfortably as Mitsu stepped up to help take some of his weight. It was still weird to be accepting the help like this, but he did what he could to fight off the urge to pull away from her.
"Alright," he murmured once he was all set. Glancing away, he stared towards the exit of the clubhouse and carefully started to walk on out so he could head to his room. Walking was still fairly painful so he figured he must have pulled his muscle pretty hard. With a sort of grimace, he tried not to lean too much on the masked girl as they headed out.

Shun seemed kind of stiff to have her so near but at least he hadn't pulled away. Doing her best to be his support Mitsu kept the slow pace Shun set as they headed back to the reaper dorms. The trip inside was a rather quiet one as Mitsu was concentrating on their walking path so that she wouldn't trip. Naturally Mitsu was fairly clumsy but she wouldn't be of much use if she face planted while trying to help Shun back to the dorm.
When they started to get close she looked up at the reaper with a curious gaze. "D..do you need a break?" It was a fair amount of walking, it was possible he would need to stop and rest his leg for a moment.

As they walked, Shun gritted his teeth while looking fairly displeased. It was about all that could be seen for his discomfort as he still didn't want to let on that he was in pain. Each step hurt a fair amount, but he was willing to just deal with it.
"I'm fine," he said tersely towards Mitsu before glancing at her, "Do you need a break?"
While he was trying to not burden her, he couldn't be certain with how much weight he was actually putting on her. Her arms were likely still pretty tired from the workouts too.
