Peri was a light sleeper. When Edward laid his head over her neck for the brief moment she came awake, but was too drowsy to really move or react. No one looking at her would know she had even felt the touch.

As Edward sighed though, and she felt his muscles relaxing into what could only be true sleep, a tiny, reflexive smile twitched across her lips. Yes, she could certainly get used to this...

And that was her last thought before Peri rejoined Edward back into the unconscious world of dreams.
