Samos had his hand behind his head after the heartless were gone. Samos started to think to himself of how strong this key is. Heh I think i have to go somewhere else for some practice for my new key, Samos said. Samos threw up his key and it turned into a key blade rider. After that, it zoomed into the portal

Lilianne wandered through the grand hall, staring at her feet to avoid peoples eyes. She felt a bit frightened, being around so many people. Being a heartless, she was commonly treated as the lowly creature she was. She sighed, finding a seat and resting there, staring at the floor.

(( oh, that's quite alright, dear. i hope everything is at least a little better now. c:
sorry for my delay. i was camping over fourth of july weekend & then was at day camp all this week. i think i'm gonna ignore the other stuff going on between others since it doesn't concern us. ^^; ))  ┉⊱Ӎ ʋяαsαҡι ☼ ❝ Immediately, the redhead's eyes are drawn to the smile upon Simon's lips and the casual way he chuckles at himself. At first, she is confused at why he seems to be mocking himself. But then, she gets caught up in how infectious his carefree attitude is and can't help showing her pearly-whites in a broad grin. Helpless to the bubbly warmth building in her chest, Murasaki giggles some herself. A light blush dusts the girl's cheeks as she calms her nerves some and relaxes. 'Maybe . . . maybe he's really a good guy,' she ponders to herself as she looks brightly up at her possible new friend.
"Well, uh, German's not that hard to learn. I was the top of my class and even took extra classes after school to learn more," the teen says a little less nervously. However, she still fusses with her ginger locks as she speaks. ❞

 "Ah, now there is the smile I've been looking for." Simon winked at her playfully and put his hand behind his head. With the other hand stuffed into his pocket, he took a very relaxed position. He nodded as she spoke. It was nice to hear her laugh. With luck it meant she was opening up to him. "Not hard to learn? Speak for yourself Milady. I have trouble enough as it is with everything else. I think you're just much smarter than the average girl." It was a wonder to him that anyone would take extra classes for anything, but he knew there were people out there who always were striving to know more. He didn't blame them. Not that he'd ever admit it, but he loved learning.

┉⊱Ӎ ʋяαsαҡι ☼ ❝ The small playful wink Simon shoots at the girl sets her heart fluttering. Quickly, her cheeks again become that vibrant red that nearly matches her hair. Nervously, Murasaki adverts her amethyst gaze from the boy before her as she tugs a little harder on her crimson locks. As she hears Simon speak, the redhead takes a chance to look up at him through her thick lashes. Once more, this stranger's laid-back attitude seems to infect Murasaki as she watches him slump some and put his hand in his pocket. With a deep breath, she turns her flustered face to look up at him full-on to listen to his words.
"Oh, well, uh, I'm not that intelligent. My friend Momoiro is the smart one . . . I'm just good at learning languages,"the redhead replies, smiling gratefully at his compliment.
Never before had someone called her smart, and she never even considered herself near above average intelligence. Murasaki may be good at acquiring new tongues, but she always had near failing grades in all her major classes. The quadratic formula and the nebula theory never made sense to her and probably never will. In her mind, they were trivial information that she'd not once put to good use in her life so she didn't have the desire to sit down and learn them. ❞

As Murasaki's face turned another shade of pink, Simon smiled. It became more and more apparent that either she wasn't often faced with conversations such as the one they were having. Or she wasn't complimented nearly as often as she should be. He scratched his head and grinned at her. So far so good for the first friend at school.
As he listened to her speak, his smile grew. "I disagree. Do you know how hard languages are? Sure it's almost the same process to learn each one, but things change between them. Take Spanish for example. A lot of words are very similar in the English and Spanish languages, but the word order is different and things can translate funny. Now if Spanish is so similar to English to begin with, I can't imagine the nightmare German must be... But I guess it isn't a nightmare for you, is it?" For the first time in a long time, Simon felt a little embarrassed. Was that too much? Should he have shut up after complimenting her? He sighed and smiled at her once again as he watched her play with her hair.
"So, uh.... Would you happen to know how to get.... anywhere in this school? I lack a total sense of direction..." It was his turn to chuckle softly and blush. He really had no idea how to find his way.

┉⊱Ӎ ʋяαsαҡι ☼ ❝ Intently, Murasaki listens to the fellow redhead as he goes on about languages. The way he explains that learning languages with ease makes you intelligent opens the girl's eyes to a whole new view on the subject. A look of delighted surprise washes over her flustered features as she sees that maybe she really is smart. Maybe being excellent in trigonometry or astronomy isn't what makes someone a genius; maybe it's really their desire to learn or what they choose to learn. Again grateful for Simon's kind words, the amethyst-eyed teen grins joyously up at him.
Slowly, the redhead's lightly tanned fingers stop fumbling with her long ponytail before smoothly throwing the long locks over her shoulder in one quick motion. Still smiling as the boy proceeds to speak, Murasaki takes on a more calmed demeanor that seems to have come to stay. Subtly, she takes a step closer to him and angles her head in a slightly curious way whilst her hand clasp each other behind her back. The way Murasaki stands and looks up at Simon could remind someone of an innocent kitten just begging for attention and nothing more.
"Thanks, for being so kind to me," the girl begins with a beaming grin. Then, her face takes on an amused one as the teen boy looks a bit uncomfortable at his confession. "Oh, well, I just arrived here also. Maybe we could explore together?" she suggests in an almost flirty way. If the way the redhead says that last bit is depicted as coy, she did the action subconsciously and doesn't even realise how alluding she sounds amongst her pleasure at finally relaxing. ❞

It was altogether surprising, but very comforting to see her relax in such a way. Simon was secretly very pleased with himself for gaining this sort of reaction from her. Not that he had been looking for it, but there was always something satisfying in knowing how relaxed and comfortable he could make people. He felt what he had said about languages was true, and he hoped that he had made an impression with the statement. It truly did take someone of a very high caliber to understand a language. Especially something as seemingly difficult as German.
Not only had she stopped fidgeting with her hair, she had actually begun to come closer to him. His pale red eyed peered gently into her violet ones. Yes, he was certain something more than her demeanor had changed around him. She was certainly a charming girl, and Simon intended to keep that in mind. Perhaps she could teach him a thing or two from that brain of hers. He definitely would appreciate it.
Simon listened to her and laughed softly. "There is no need to thank me, Milady. I'm doing my job as a gentleman. You should always be kind to strangers." Simon lived by this fact. There were few who could get on his bad side, and those who did, stayed there. He nodded when she suggested they explore together. "That sounds fantastic. However, are you taking a flirtatious tone with me, Ma'am?" He meant it has his own way of flirting with the ginger. Hoping that he hadn't made her uncomfortable, he smiled warmly to try and show it was meant as a light joke.

Most boys she ever talked to or overheard weren't half as kind as this gentleman before herself right now; the fact that he is even talking to her causes a fluttering sensation in the girl's chest. Near-giggling at these happy emotions, she almost doesn't notice the boy's mention of her sounding flirty. A surprised look comes over the teen's features as her eyes widen. Just as soon as this appearance comes over her face, it disappears. With just a light blush on her cheeks, the purple-eyed girl looks up at her new friend with a small playful smile.
"Do you like it?" she asks in a low voice, not sure where this daring side has come from. Probably from those exotic movies her brothers would watch. ❞

Lilianne heard an angry voice. She looked up to see a seemingly infuriated boy. The little heartless cat's ears flattened at the sound of his voice, a bit startled. "I-I wonder what's wrong with him...?" She said to herself quietly, cocking her head to the side.
