"Only if you want to mess with your mother, Zac, and only then." He shook his head, polishing off the drink and then, finally, shifting away to let Zac be. His fingers felt funny, and his toes, and he made a little face as he tossed the can out onto the pool edge. It clattered, caught something, went rumbling across the rough surface and made a shocking amount of noise -- which, in turn, made Ever wince. Oops.
There was an echoing sound from not too far away, the flash of a light turning on, and Ever blinked toward it owlishly, like an idiot. Damnit.

"...very smooth Romeo..." Zac said with a wince, freezing for a moment before reaching for his clothes as best he could trying not to make too many sloshes. "...next time remind me to drain the ******** guard..." He hissed under his breath. "Screw it..." He said a harsh whisper and pulled himself out of the pool. "Can you teleport or am I taking us both?" He whispered harshly grabbing ever's clothes too.

"...the beer..." That was what Ever went for, hauling himself out awkwardly, flopping onto the ground instead of hopping up easily after Zac. Fingers curled around the pack and his other hand clutched after his shoes and then he froze. Ever wasn't even sure if he could teleport holding something, and that thought made his expression fall a little bit. It was depressing. They hadn't even finished of half of the pack.
Maybe a strategy change was in order. His expression went distantly hopeful. "We could still drain him, you know?"

"...oh for god sake..." He said and rolled his eyes, dropping their clothes and shifting to the familiar over dressed state that marked his General Uniform, He vanished from view and a moment later there was a rather brief, if surprised sound, and a quiet thump followed by something heavy (or overweight) being dragged.
The lights flicked out again, and moments later Zinkenite re-appeared by the pool, his hair still damp from the water when his uniform was oddly dry. He shifted back to 'Zac' and pushed his hair back from his face with a small sigh. "Right... " he said as though that answered everything. "let's not throw any more cans ok?"

"Let's, uh." Ever grinned at him, entirely too pleased by that reaction and Zac in uniform and the eyeroll; the shift from human and General and the corresponding shift in Zink's stance. He liked Zac, really, and he liked the flustered sweetheart. He just might have liked Zink in charge a little bit better. Hard to tell.
"Let's leave anyway, in case cops show up. Where'd those bags get to..." He shoved damp feet into his boots; Ever'd have to clean them up later, but for now he set about shoving on what clothing he could so he wouldn't have to leave it behind.

"Ick..." He grumbled as he stuffed his own wet feet into sneakers and struggled into his shorts who in turn went to war with his swimwear. "Here..." He said and stuffed the little ball of energy at Ever. "You keep it, or we can break it when we're gone, he might think it was all a bad dream." He said with a small dismissive shrug.
"...Should have stayed in uniform." He grumbled eyeing the fence. "...should have done that in the first place." He reached out and twisted his bangs to get some of the water out. "You tore one bag," He reminded Ever and picked up the chips tucking what was left of the unopened anything but the drinks into the open top of the chip bag. "Could wrap it up in a shirt I suppose." He said Eyeing Ever's shirt rather than offer his own up.

Ever was just starting to pull that shirt on, but at the comment and the look he froze to just stare at Zac, dumbly struggling to process that. Tone of voice, the reminder that Ever had been the one to tear it, the fact that Zac was already further dressed than he was --
With a huff of a sigh that wasn't at all genuine he tugged his shirt off again and tossed it to Zac. His expression was teasing as he shook his head, eyes dropping to the task of cinching his belt in tight enough. "Just take it, then, if you're so desperate to have me halfway undressed."

Zac looked oddly triumphant and amused and then added, with a surprisingly smug look. "What makes you think halfway was the intent."
He gave an utterly guileless look that might have been more convincing had he not been smirking moments before. He used the requisitioned shirt to serve as a tote, probably stretching the fabric in awful ways and headed for the fence, his transition to uniform and back was seamless, an almost effortless leap and he landed on the other side, again as a civilian and looking at least a little cocky for it.

Ever blinked, fidgeted, watching Zac make a horrible mess of his shirt -- and then shifted as well to take off after him. Half-naked in civis but all dressed up in uniform, he hauled himself over the fence and then he didn't change back. Maybe he was self-conscious of the ribs and the pale skin, when he was going to be walking down the street...
Instead he eyed the makeshift bag and absolutely did not offer to carry it for Zac. He shoved his hands into his pockets and smiled. "Your place or mine?"

"...Oh... so you're going to make me walk home with the... big, bad... terrible captain?" He teased. "Here... take the shirt back...-take- the beer...and...your place, If I see one more french Pronoun tonight I am going to flip my s**t."
A moments hesitation. "... though I might have just been after your shirt." he teased. "You never know, I do... after all need to replace that... awful grey t-shirt you hated so much."
He stuffed the bag towards Ilmenite "Am I holding this hostage then?" He said and let it drop to his side again. "If we get stopped... unlikely as it is..."

"...ah, s**t." It was a valid point, and one which made Ilmenite huff out a noise before nabbing the bag out of Zac's hands. Powered up he was stronger anyway, and the cops might not confiscate the alcohol from him. They certainly would from Zac, young as he looked. Young as he was.
"I'm not walking through the city half naked. You'll have to wait til we're home. Get movin'." He nudged Zac forward and tossed the bag up over his shoulder, pondering the prospects of a cigarette as they kicked into motion.

Zac's expression couldn't have said 'I win' any better if He'd written it across his forehead. For all the heat and misery of the morning he'd decided it was a very good day. Swimming, talking...which was somewhere in the grey area of good but still alright... now Ever carrying the beer (again), and they were heading back and...well. Well that would go as it would.
He put his hands in his pockets and moved almost cheerfully along, quick step and amused eyes.
