After some time, she deemed the blankets aired properly. Twilight gathered her food and blankets and carefully walked up the path. Her bundle was perhaps a bit two large, and twilight started tire. “I think I gathered a bit too much,” Twilight ruefully spoke as she sat down to take a small break.

Soon a familiar shape came into his view as he trudged along. A genuine smile curved around his maw as he neared. Spreading out his wings and folding them, he called out to her. "Need any help?" His pace quickened till eventually he was close enough not to have to really yell now. "I guess I'm a bit early then?"

“Oh Abisen you’re here, “Twilight beamed. “I seem to have gotten too excited and packed a little too much. I’m just a little silly; I can’t seem to realize how small I am. I always push my body to much but I didn’t know what to bring. So I just packed everything I could think of. I’m a little silly like that,” Twilight said in an embarrassed manner.

Abisen smiled fondly. " No wories, I don't mind helping you. I couldn't remember if I was supposed to bring snacks or not so I packed a few myself. " He stopped just short of her and looked at the large pack and couldn't help the chuckle that came out. She looked adorable like that in a way all her own, the embarrassed posture she held, the over sized bundle.. "Here.. lets balance the load between the two of us and make it easier hm?"

“Do you think we can handle it all? It seems a lot but I’m up for giving it a try. I think we both worried a bit about what to bring. That or our stomachs were a little too big,” Twilight heartily laughed. “Ok let’s try splitting this load and if it’s still too much we could always stop and take a snack-break all in the name of making the load smaller,” Twilight Winked at Abisen in a conspirating manner.

Abisen nodded and joined her laughter with his own. "That sounds like a plan." He grinned and moves closer to help her disperse the load she had. "Either way, we'll figure something out. Even if I have to make two trips I'll get this stuff up there." He chuckled lightly and reached over nuzzling into Twilight affectionately. It felt right, being affectionate towards her, not having his own shyness standing in the way of getting close to her.

“That sounds like a rather marvelous idea. It was a bit silly nilly for me to even try to carry so much but in my mind I don’t realize how tiny I’m am. I seem to think I’m much bigger..like a giant and I’m just a regularly sized noodles. Well let split the bundle and if it’s still too heavy we can always make more than one trip we still have time before the sunset. “Twilight warmly said as she gazed at the sky.

His gaze followed hers to the sky for a moment before falling back to her and lingering a moment. "Shall we then? While we still have light left that is." He smiled fondly and moved to help her situate the load to a more manageable size. "Twilight.." He started to speak but shook his head. " Never mind." He smiled. What he had to say was better left in his head. He felt like pouring his heart out to her, wooing her under the stars like some love sick fool.

Twilight cocked her head and stared at Abisen in a curious manner. It seemed like he was struggling with some great emotion and she felt a hint of unease. Perhaps he was hiding some great secret but then again Abisen was very shy. Which twilight found adorably cute and made her want to tease him but for now she patiently wait for him to become comfortable with her. “Is there something you would like to share? I’m a good fairly good listener, if I do say so myself. Twilight smiled warmly”

Abisen flushed causing his face to become a deeper shade of pink. "N-nothing... " He stuttered some. "How about we get that up there?" He took a small bundle of snacks and darted up the hill. He'd just caught himself from making a fool of himself when he'd wanted to be the silly romantic and pour his heart out to her.

“Ok let’s get a move on.” Twilight lightly smiled. She secretly hoped someday Abisen would be comfortable enough to share his secrets with her. She could wait; after all they hardly knew each other. It seemed like she had always known Abisen and felt a calming influence from his presence. “Why don’t you go first?” Twilight asked coyly. Besides if Abisen went first she could also enjoy the view- Twilight laughed wickedly to herself.

"All right." He nodded and looking back at her for a moment. He took a lingered look at her before offering a genuine smile and turning, proceeding up the hill with hat silly happy, hoppy dancing gait her had. It was a movement all his own that some how fit and would seem off should he ever not walk that way. As he reached the crest of the hill, he set down his bundle of snacks and spread them out picnic style. it was a sneaking of his hopeless romantic-ness but he knew that it'd be a decent gesture. Busily, he set out the snacks on the checkered sheet he'd had them bundles up in and stood waiting for her.

Twilight glanced at Abisen as he stood in front of spread out blanket and the food which had been carefully set up. His chest was puffed up a bit and his eyes glittered proudly. Twilight felt her heart melt at Abisen kind gesture. He seemed so proud of himself and his gesture was just so kind. Twilights eyes misted. She had never met anybody who could be so generous to her.

"I thought the trip up here might have primed your hunger a little.." He chuckled and smiled broadly. His ears fell however as he noticed the misty look to her eyes. "Did I do something wrong?" His face faulted a little as he looked concerned for a moment. "I didn't mean to.."

“No you didn’t do anything wrong. Twilight whispered as she slowly rubbed a paw against her face. She was a little surprised about how emotional she was being. She turned her head to the side trying not to disturb Abisen with her misty eyes. Twilight took a long breath trying to calm her racing heart.
