Junko stopped her swaying when the professor finally walked in. Or rather, a man she hoped was the professor. She blinked, hair twitching as she just stared. How..beautiful! Foreign! Gorgeous! Well-tailored and just beautifully made. Oh, what Junko wouldn't give to be able to see those clothes up close. They were definitely very interesting to her. What a neat way to wear a haori! And that shirt! She wanted to see how it was made, what it was made with. Those gloves? She could see herself wearing those. In fact she'd like to mimic them! Hmmm! Nevertheless, Junko leaned quietly against Seiji and just stared at the professor with a look of awe. He was a lovely man himself, but those clothes! And her favorite colors as well! And those hair ornaments. Jack, she wanted those hair pins.
Wait, they weren't going to be learning what discrete mathematics were? But...that was what this class was! She blinked, looking up at Seiji for a moment with a shrug before she stood up, waiting for him to get up as well before she turned to Tomoko. Huh...was...was Tomoko crying?! Junko gasped quietly and hugged her again, though this time she didn't start squealing as she had earlier, making a happy little noise and nuzzling her cheek against the kitsune's. Who's a good Tomoko? YOU'RE A GOOD TOMOKO~! YES YOU ARE~! Of course she let her go so they could walk properly. Junko's eyes were glued to Professor Walker the entire trip outside and across campus, though she honestly wasn't staring at the man himself. Oh no. Her focus was purely on his clothes and only his clothes. And what lovely clothes they were. She was so enthralled by them she almost missed their instructions. Wait, what? Oh...o-okay! She looked down at Tomoko and gave her an affectionate headpat, smiling down at her. "Are you alright, Tomo-chan? Don't cry~." She cooed soothingly to the kitsune, then turned to hop on her toes and give Seiji a kiss. "I'm going to go find my own materials, okay?" She was a big ghoul~! She could take care of herself!
Junko hummed and skip-hopped away to go search for things to use to build something. She tripped over a long stretch of vine and stumbled, flailing her arms until she caught herself and was standing on two feet again. Well...that was a strong vine! She got down to unwrap it from the two trees it was connected to and coiled it around her arm. The ghoul turned, spotting a slimy plank with lichen on one end. Eugh..gross...maybe she could get someone to wipe the lichen off. A glance was cast toward Seiji as she considered this, nearly stepping on the giant beetle shell by her feet as she turned to head over and ask him if he'd do this for her. Well that looked handy! Junko gathered that up in her arms along with the vine and wood plank, humming happily as she carted her prizes back to the group.

Any excitement Sheridan may have felt when the professor at last entered the classroom was lost in an instant. All thoughts of what they may have learned, what math they may have been talked, satisfaction at at draconic professor, all thoughts were shattered.
His brow furrowed, a frown that could have almost been interpreted as a sulk, a snap of his tail. He had been excited for nothing, and now instead of learned the promised mathematics, they were instead being dragged outside into Jack knows what. He was not a happy dragon, trudging after his classmates with his arms crossed, tail lashing behind him with each step. Hmph!
Building? This was not what he had signed up for, nor was he particularly thrilled about warnings of being hurt or eaten. Were there any classes without the threat of being eaten in this place?
It was with a grunt that the dragon looked around the area, eyes falling on a long vine hanging from one tree. Sure, he supposed that could be useful. Grasping the vine, a hard tug, Sheridan pulled the vine from the tree, and then in a similar fashion collected two more lengths of vines. Whether he thought that much vine would be useful or whether he just wanted to collect what he could and get it over with was up for debate.
Hmph, well they certainly had plenty of vines now.

She answered Lizzy's inquiry about "Rex" and said nothing for her math skill. Tha one yappin' a speech like 'a king over there in pup-speak. Levi said this while pointing a finger at Demi just before he stopped doing what puppies do. Alot of random (and unrecognizable) chatter was going on...but with a smirk, Levi went back to sitting up straight when the professor (?) came in. She watched his movements intently and noted his features. dragon? Even more surprising was his intent; they'd be leaving the classroom? for math? what sort of math...? The tatzel was halfly glad she wouldn't be made a fool of by being forced to display her knowledge of mathematics, but also fought a frown in that she wouldn't be progressing her math skills as far as she could tell.
Levi got up tucking her paper and graphite bit into a back pocket. Waiting for Lizzy, she then followed the masses outside and into a wooded area. Here, they'd need to build something according to Professor Walker's brief instruction to find materials. Levi'd give it a go then; looking to Lizzy, she tilted slightly with hands behind her back. Shall we go 'n snoop 'round a bit then? See what we 'kin find? Peering about, the first thing she noticed were two hefty rocks. Yep! These would be good for building anything. Things made of rock were sure to be sturdy! Levi crouched by the rocks and dragged them together to make a pile with them and whatever else she found.
Bouncing back up to her feet, she scanned for- hey, was that some wood? Wood and rock; this was a combo that would guarantee creation of a strudy structure!... even with the filth on the end of the piece. Collecting the plank with lichen one the end, she tossed it by her two rocks and continued the search. At first, she mistook the beetle shell for another rock, but she tapped on the outside noting its hollow interior. She checked on Lizzy's collecting as she tossed her newly acquired giant beetle shell by the plank and rocks. The white-haired ghoul placed her hands on her hips and looked down at her gathered items with some satisfaction. Looks like some mighty fine buildin' materials ta me.

((rolled with the last post))
With Shun's encouragement Mitsu followed him into the woods trying to keep a look out for any potential materials. When they finally presented themselves they found her more than she found them. The lupine tripped over the rocks in her path and into a mass of vines. After a few moments of struggling Mitsu finally emerged from the mess with two long stretch of vine still attached to her. Oh well, she could take these back, she was certain they could be useful.
When her eyes settled over what she had tripped on she saw the hefty rocks. They looked a little bigger than what she could carry but she made the attempt anyway, they looked like they could be useful.

It would be a lie to say the black dog wasn't happy about the sudden change of plans. If anything, he was excited! Really excited! No math! NO MATH! Instead, they'd be going outside! YEEAAAAHH! He was liking this teacher already! Subs were the best!
Sliding his chair out, Tybalt got to his feet and trotted along behind the others down the long hallway before they reached outside. His tail swaying left to right in a wag. Proof that this black dog was indeed happy about the results of the day so far. But once they were outside, it was revealed that they were expected to find materials? Well that shouldn't be too hard. There were plenty of things laying about after all. He was sure he could find something to be of use.
Time to find out!
Wandering off in the opposite direction of the others, the black dog poked around the ground; lifting moss; dead leaves and other forest foliage and he found several things. Though he wasn't sure if most would be of any use. Though he did find some mushrooms! Maybe Jove needed more? Couldn't hurt to bring them back and see.
Scooping them up the black dog grabbed a A slimy plank with lichen on one end and used it to scoop up the small handful of mushrooms. After those smelly mushrooms he found, the black dog wasn't taking any chances with unknown species. Though so far they seemed okay. Or at least... he hoped they were.
.....
He'd let the others find out.
Making his way back with his finds, the black dog's foot bumped into something else. Something... hard? Confused, he looked down.
"Oh! Rocks!" He snorted, bending down to pick up two hefty rocks. These ought to be of use for something. If anything, they could be used as substitutes for hammers?

Everyone in class was getting up now and heading out the class room toward the woods. Oooh exciting adventure during class? This was going to be awesome! The demon hadn't really brought any supplies with him so he didn't have anything to pack up. Instead he was able to just pop out of his seat and follow the rest of his class mates down to the woods.
Of course he stopped and motioned for Christof to follow to before disappearing completely with the class. Everyone who had already made it down seemed to be hunting for supplies so, naturally, Charlie joined in the fun.
It didn't take the demon long before he found a small hand full of mushrooms on top of a muddy patch of grass. The other things though had to be more special. Something that Charlie could really use. The demon marched about in very wide long steps and stepped on just what he was looking for. Two slimy planks with lichen on one end happily laid beneath the demons feet. Charlie bent down and gathered them both happily. He held them up to show them off to his class mates with a big dopey smile on his face.

As he made his way through the woods, Shun kept a sharp eye out for any materials that could be used. When Mitsu had tripped, he turned around to see if she was alright but she had freed herself by that point. Well at least she had found some stuff.
Looking around the ground, he found two sticks that seemed fairly sturdy and were of a good size. Picking those up, he kept hunting around for anything else of use.
Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw what appeared to be a rather large insect. The reaper turned towards it, sticks in hand in the case it decided to fly at him or something along those lines. Upon closer inspection, he saw it was just a large beetle shell. That at least saved him the trouble of having to kill it, he supposed.
Taking that as well, he looked on around. He could see some of the other students searching about as well and it looked like everyone was doing a pretty fair job of finding materials. When his gaze settled on Mitsu, he noticed her trying to pick up some large rocks... and struggling to do so. There were two other hefty rocks near her as well so he went on over to fetch those. He had spotted several other students grab rocks so he supposed they were somewhat useful.
"...Do you need help?" he asked her with a raised brow as he crouched down to grab the rocks. It was a little tricky picking them up with the other items he had, but he sort of managed. If she did need the help, he likely would have to make a trip back to make sure his hands were free.

Petro lit up like a Jack-o-Lantern at the thought of building something. The tikbalang enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was beating someone's face in during a spar or constructing something, he was more than happy to do either. He turned to Sheridan, the horse boil's grin reaching from ear to ear. Someone was sure happy with the way things had turned so far. "Something wrong?" he asked, noticing the less-than-pleased look on the dragon's face. He decided to stick relatively close to Sheridan while they were led into the woods to search for materials.
As he scavenged through the underbrush, he managed to find a small handful of mushrooms, one giant beetle shell, and a slimy plank with lichen on one end. Whatever they were supposed to build, Tro was going to have to make these materials work. And he will! Somehow. Or die trying! And like in music class, hopefully it wouldn't reach that point.

LW glanced back behind her when she heard the black dog finally moving around, giving him a smile, but most of her attention was on this new boil. Sparrow. Really, she was just surprised at how gentlemanly he'd been and still hadn't made it past the 'pretty lady'. The arrival of their...professor? No. He said he wasn't their professor. He was a sub. Oh Jack! And they weren't going to do math?! LW liked this teacher already! And they were going outside!
So what if she jumped up from her seat with a little more excitement than was really necessary? LW didn't like being inside still. "Come on!" She tugged at Sparrow and followed after Tybalt and the rest of the group. When everyone was outside, it was announced they were to find materials to be used for building something. What that something was, the she-wolf had no clue as their Sub Professor didn't mention it.
With a snort, she watched Tybalt wander off one way and she headed off in another. By accident, she stumbled upon two hefty rocks (Jackdamnit her toes were going to be sore all day!) that almost tripped her. The she-wolf didn't know if they would be very useful, but they hadn't had any specifics on what kind of materials to grab. Twising around, she sniffed and followed her nose to an almost oddly sweet scent. What was that? Reaching out, she grabbed a slimy plank with lichen on one end. Eww. Slimy. But the lichen was what smelled oddly sweet. Where was her canine counterpart? She wanted to make him smell it too.
Turning, she spotted Tybalt heading back towards the main area of the group and LW began walking in that direction. Except, something snagged on her tail. You could pet her tail, play with her tail, use it as a pillow. But snagging it? The she-wolf twirled around, expecting to snarl at someone...but there was no one to snarl at. Her tail seemed to be caught in some vines. A long stretch of vine to be more exact. After struggling with it for a couple minutes, the she-wolf padded over and stood next to Tybalt, vine still lightly wrapped around her tail. Her hands were occupied with the rocks and plank.
"Hey Tybalt." Her gaze landed on the plank in his hand. "So you found some too?" The she-wolf held up her own and snorted at the fact they both had rocks.

Did she need help? "M..maybe." Mitsu reluctantly mumbled trying to jumble the items in her arms. Luckily the vines were still wrapped around her somewhat so holding them wasn't an issue, but the rocks were rather heavy. Maybe it was a bad idea to take them...but she had already picked them up.
Doing her best to hold onto the items she had Mitsu started back toward the clearing where the teacher was, her pace slow to avoid dropping anything. Curiously she turned to see what Shun had found and.....what the huff puff was that? "I...is that a bug?"

Nodding to her, Shun was about to move to set his stuff down but paused at the question. Blinking, he glanced to the beetle shell he had gathered.
"It used to be," he said plainly, "It's just a shell now."
It was hard to say how long ago the beetle had been dead. With the question answered, he moved away towards the main area and dropped off his materials before making his way back to the wolf girl to lift up the two rocks. While still heavy, it was definitely easier to carry them without three other things in hand at the same time.

Now with only the vines to worry about Mitsu followed Shun back to the main area. It was a lot easier to do when she wasn't trying to carry two large rocks. Perhaps that had been a bad idea.
Back where they were all meeting up Mitsu stopped and sort of wiggled free of the vines since she was still somewhat tangled in them. Once she was free she arranged them as neatly as she could with her hefty rocks and stood by waiting. Her eyes still curiously looked over at the beetle shell curious to what it looked like when alive. Bugs didn't bother Mitsu but she wasn't so sure about something that large.

Once they were back at the main area, Shun set down the two rocks near his own pile of materials and watched Mitsu free herself from the vines. While she took care of that, he crouched down and picked up his beetle shell to examine it a little more closely. It might have been a good thing that it was already dead when he had found it.
The bug could have been a rather nasty one.
Setting it back down, he looked up towards the other students, seeing several others bringing in rocks as well. What everyone was going to be doing with all these rocks, he had no jacking idea. He had to wonder if it said something about the student body for how many people decided it'd be a good idea to grab big rocks... including himself

Tybalt's ears perked at the she-wolf's voice. It would seem like she also didn't come back empty handed. In fact, she had several things tucked in her arms as well.
"I did~" He called back and gave a wave as best as he could, with his burden. "How about you? Find anything good?" He asked; plopping down on the ground so that he could observe his finds.
There was nothing spectacular. But he was sure at least some of it could prove to be useful. Or so he hoped and thankfully, the mushrooms seemed fine. In fact, aside from that typical mushroom smell, they didn't smell at all. Though he still wasn't sure if they were the kind that Jove liked.
Ah well.
Either way, at least he found some things. Which was always better than nothing.
"Any ideas about what we'll be building?" He asked.

Sheridan had turned to look at Petro, his tail still twitching with each step.
"I would have preferred math class."
His expression was one of disappointment, he had really wanted to learn something math (or science) related. Building was not something he was good at, it wasn't something he had every been interested in. Damn the professor for getting his hopes up. He'd have to track down the normal professor later, maybe he could arrange some private lessons, or at least find out when the next class was.
He was walking near Petro, halfheartedly hauling the vines he had collected. What were they supposed to be building anyway?
