Anues

Anues wasn't too surprised to find the one he sought that quickly. He tried getting as close as he could, but... this wasn't entirely what he had in mind either. "So you could say..." He looked the Gallade over carefully, his attention halved between his counter part's words and general appearance as he soon continued. His arms retreated behind his back idly as he listened, the Gardevoir's expression not quite altering from it's unmindful gesture. Though rudely, he was getting information he'd never get otherwise from Aire herself. Something or another always popped up and filled in random holes in the info he already had. It was probably a bad thing, though he would admit, he did provoke it half the time. By the sound of it, this meeting would be nothing different from many others.
Simply moving on with the conversation instead of doddling and challenging the Gallade's words, Anues' eyes traveled for a moment before returning to the Gallade with his final comment and his eyes narrowed. The point didn't go over his head, not with all the assaults prior. "Sorry to rain on you, but I can't allow anything of the sort to happen." He gave a light, dismissing shrug with his response. He honestly couldn't care less for the other male's issues. He just simply couldn't allow him to carry on with them.

The Gallade continued to smile around his cigar, eyes flashing a challenge. "And you're going to stop me?" He asked, though he left no room for an answer when he slowly stood to tower of the Gardevoir. As far as height went, he even dwarfed Aire who was in herself taller than the average Gardevoir.
Looking down at Anues he exhaled a cloud of smoke over the small Psychics head before stepping around him and walking off to the side for a moment, his back turned to the silver-haired Pokemon.
"Lemme tell you how it is, kid. You'll save yourself a world of hurt." Though he didn't turn to face the Gardevoir he made certain he spoke loudly enough to be heard.
"I had a great life, I was perfectly content. Had an arranged marriage with a gorgeous girl, was perfectly ******** happy." At that point her turned around the rage in his voice evident. "Then SHE goes off and whores herself to some legendary, brings her b*****d spawn back with her, threatens me to go along with her charade less she ruin my reptutation and then up and leaves me first chance she gets out of some twisted sense of grief for the ******** kid she didn't even like." He raised a hand to snatch his cigar from his mouth and jab it in a point at Anues though it never made contact.
"What she did to me deserves punishment, you stand in my way you can join the b***h in hell. I'm burning that bar down...but first I'm making sure that SHE and her little b*****d are inside it...and I'm going to stand outside...and I'm going to listen for the screams. Then when I don't hear nothing anymore, I'm going to go home and sleep like a baby."
The adrenaline of anger gave out at this point and rather than glaring at Anues he gave a pleasant smile. "And if you happen to be inside that bar as well, you can die too. But I'm a nice guy, so I'm giving you this warning now."
He tapped his chin thoughtfully, ashes raining from the tip of his cigar with the sudden motion.
"That's my original plan, but I might change it up a bit. Maybe give her a few matching scars to go with the last one I gave her." The Gallade raised his free hand and draw a line on the left side of his face from the corner of his mouth to just under his eye to mimic the scar Aire herself had in the same place.

The Gardevoir's glare sharpened as his response was laughed at upon it's return, though the glare immediately softened to a degree as the Gallade then stood, and Anues had to actually look up to meet him eye to eye. He took half a step back responsively, but never dropped his guard. He didn't quite expect the height difference, at least not this great of one, but... it could have been worse. Being around Ethfael helped the Gardevoir's tolerance greatly, but unlike him, the Gallade actually posed a threat.
As he finally stepped away from his face, Anues released the breath caught in his throat and turned with the Gallade accordingly, though he remained silent. Despite his gestures and actions as he continued to rant about the sleeping female, his words never struck Anues. There was a sense of tension when he grew close again, but nothing more and he was quick to lax. No, his words didn't bother the younger psychic. At least not until the mention of his sadistic plans for the bar's downfall, and a nerve was struck. The latter statement only made that composure snap. The Gardevoir stood tall though, maintaining his silence.

As the dual type gestured Aire's scar, Anues remained still, simply staring back at the Gallade. "I have no way of changing your little plot then I suppose." His dilated eyes closed for a moment, only to reopen again as his right arm loosened behind his back to swiftly strike at the gestured side of the Gallade's face with a dark glare before lowering both of his arms to his sides. "Though, I'm afraid I can't leave the stage quite yet. Aire needs a decent night's sleep, you see."

Eyes closed, muscles tensed, but aside from that faint twitch the Gallade made no other visible reaction to being punched in the face. After the blow landed he opened his eyes and turned to casually eye the Gardvoir before a cynical smile spread across his face and he advanced forward until he was mere inches away from Anues.
"Cocky little s**t, aren't you." He commented though made no obvious gesture of violence to warn of his next action which was to grab the male Psychic by the collar of his shirt and hoist him up to eye level.
"Do you have what it takes to back it up?" He let Anues go just as quickly as he'd grabbed him and turned in the direction the bar was. The Gallade tapped his chin once again and then glanced at the cigar still in his hand. A smile curled at his lips then and he turned back to face the Gardevoir with an expression that was far from friendly.
"You want to stop me so badly? Alright, let's make it a game. I'm heading back to that bar right now, and when I reach it I intend to burn it down. Of course I'll be placing a protect over it to keep you out and her in as well as a ward to block teleports. If you don't stop me before I do it, then it's game over but consider yourself lucky if I don't kill you too."
The dual type turned and very calmly began to saunter off, one arm lifted in farewell.
"Let the game begin."

Anues

Anues gave a shocked blink when the Gallade did little more than flinch with his assault. The Gardevoir was smaller, but he was hardly physically weak for his species. He was expecting to fracture the other male’s jaw, not get glared back at with little alterations at all. His hand actually hurt. Before Anues had a chance to react, or even finish his thought, the psychic was lifted off the ground with ease. He continued to glare back at the Gallade, not losing his challenge on the other male though there was a sense of anxiety in his expression that quickly left as he was let go and standing back on the ground. Despite his calm posture, he was hoping for a fight, something to just start and end as quickly as possible. He thought he had it, if only for a moment with the Gallade’s inquiry, but the moment this suddenly turned into some twisted game, the younger psychic’s expression turned dark—affronted, if anything. The male was frozen in place as the Gallade turned to take his leave, simply staring him off.

How disgusting. Did he honestly think he could keep a purebred psychic out with a barrier? It was denial to say the most. The Gardevoir had to search for some sort of comfort if it came down to it. His state of shock didn’t last long at all. The bar was maybe a 10, 15 minute walk from here, if he had to guess considering how far he teleported. He could stall easily, but that timeframe was so short. A growl arose in the white Gardevoir’s throat, blocking out all else in the end as he began to walk after the Gallade; his psychic intensifying around his right arm. It didn’t matter, not now. There was no time to be thinking about it. Despite the mess of insults that bombarded his mind, he couldn’t put anything quite into words to provoke the other male, so he simply moved straight into actions instead.
The aura from his psychic burst outward in a loud crack from around him before trailing off into a dying out shrill, leaving a vein of dull purple psychic to tear across the ground at the other male in attempt to Imprison him. The shockwave itself was a harmless release of energy, having been a function that Anues grew to learn as second nature so his psychic would function normally before eating at him instead. Just as quickly as the assault began, Anues came up behind the other male with his arm drawn back, and the blade parented to his wrist was thrust toward the back of the taller male’s skull.
It was straight forward, but Anues knew he would get a response as well, have it be the Gallade moving, getting his skull smashed in, or simply turning on the younger psychic and breaking his arm. Anything could happen, but he’d have to aim for vital areas to be assured of responses. Anues didn’t trust aiming for the other male’s heart or throat. Not yet. It seemed riskier. He could easily miss the throat and he could easily miss the heart. There was nothing to simply miss when you were aiming for anothers’ head.
Around the Gardevoir’s idle other hand, his psychic kept a low spark dancing around his fingertips. Just in case he did indeed miss and had to bail by sending the other male flying. Much like any remotely strong volt of electricity, coming in contact with it would send one flying back to some degree respectively. His psychic was no different when need be.

Of course he wasn't going to just let him walk away, the Gallade grinned inwardly as the Gardevoir approached with vicious intent and he spun around the second he felt the psychic pulse near the back of his head. The attack never made contact, rather Eric grabbed onto the Gardevoir's arm at the elbow to hold him at bay. He could snap it easily, one quick twist and the bones would splinter into tiny pieces, but he made no motion to do so immediately.
Instead he figured it'd be a good time for a chat, for some reason.
"Someone's angry." The dual type commented lightly, still keeping a firm grip on Anues arm though he held it just tightly enough to keep the Gardevoir from pulling away. Nothing stopped the Psychic from teleporting should he choose, but regardless the Gallade continued speaking.
"Is it really worth dying over? Ask yourself that, I'd be more than happy just letting you walk the hell away without looking back. You seem like a smart kid, you know what self-preservation is don't you? Walk away right now and I won't tear you limb from limb." He left Anues go suddenly, but added to his threat with a flicker of shadows that swirled around his right arm. They lashed out like smokey tendrils, extending upward along his arm before he lunged forward and sent a Shadow Punch towards Anues midsection.
It wasn't fatal, it wouldn't kill him, but it would hurt like hell and it would certainly get his point across that he was not one to be trifled with.
Whether his attack landed or not he stepped back, putting a fair distance between him and the younger Pokemon.
"C'mon brat, she's not worth the time of day. You think she even cares about you? She doesn't care about anyone but herself!" He flung his cigar down onto the ground and stomped it out. "She looke down on me our entire marriage, she ignored her kids completely barely even spoke to either of them! If she treats blood that way then why the hell do you think she'd treat you any different?!"

Anues

Having no time to react otherwise having hoped the Imprison would work, Anues remained still once his arm was caught. He pulled back immediately due to reflex, only to have a sharp pain shoot up his arm but that aside the Gardevoir merely glared up at the other male. There was a slight tremble in the male's arm, so he was refusing the grip to some degree, but being caught at the joint, Anues really couldn't retaliate at all. His left arm that idly awaited usage was disregarded and forgotten entirely in favor of acknowledging that slight fear that his other arm was stuck. Angry? No, no not quite. He was merely aggravated. His ears heightened slightly as the Gallade continued to speak, being the only sign of him even listening through his glare. Once he was released, Anues immediately stepped off to the left so he could easily slash at the Gallade’s right arm with his own; the blade having never died. Why he even let him go if he was going to attack, Anues didn’t bother thinking about. He merely shook out his arm as it gave off a series of sparks around his arm, causing a light distortion that didn’t vanish when he came still again which only lasted a moment as the Gallade continued to speak. Anues took the time to merely look over his arm before lowering it back to his side and looking at the dual type again. “Care isn’t quite a factor here, though I can see why she wouldn’t much care for you…” The psychic crossed his arms, leaving his right to rest idly on his left due to the blade as he continued to stare down the Gallade. “You see, it’s my job to care for her. This includes getting rid of threats such as yourself. Here’s a question, why do you care enough to even attempt this? My life doesn’t much matter; Aire could replace me whenever need be… Though, if I am to die, I can’t say I’m going alone.” It was probably the only reason the relationship between the two worked. He did care for her and she did need him though. It was for her own well being, but it also meant she'd never get rid of him either. Anues might as well be in the clear as long as he was alive.
The Gardevoir’s glare sharpened. He had plenty of stunts to throw at the Gallade just for the sake of killing him, but at the risk of his own life as well. If he were to live, it probably wouldn’t last long at all. He preferred keeping such as a safety net. Have it come down to doing so, it would be unfortunate, but he would be doing his job. In reality, Aire wasn’t anyone special or famous. She’s no better than he himself, but it didn’t change the fact he existed this way anyway and overall willingly. This Gallade wasn’t getting very far at all, not while he was still alive.

“Less talk then? I’m tired of listening to your drama tale.” The Gardevoir uncrossed his arms and shrugged lightly before teleporting and reappearing airborne before the Gallade in a loud, aggressive burst of pressure, leaving the Gardevoir’s image to distort heavily as his psychic indistinctively panned out into the field. He came down blade first and kept up the pressure against the Gallade the moment he touched the ground. Every hit have it be guarded or successfully landed resulted in a loud, seemingly broken shrill that questioned the Gardevoir’s psychic actually being in pain. “The arrogant behavior doesn’t quite suit you if you’re just going to sit there talking!” Anues’ voice rose in annoyance as he spun off to the side, using the Gallade for momentum as he pushed off using his own blade before raising it close to him defensively as a pause came into play. The young psychic’s eyes gave off a light glow, though seemingly nothing happened. At least, not from him directly. Instead a series of long needles approximating about a foot in length plummeted from the air and assaulted the ground in attempt in hit the Gallade. The stealthy assault seemed to come from nowhere exactly, but being made of psychic regardless, the pressure could still be traced as long as it actively existed. It ended as quickly as it started, leaving Anues to step back during as his image continued to distort and shrill. Have his idle be from exhaustion or simply awaiting a response was unclear.

His arm went up to block the blade strike with ease and he parried Anues back with his own. He listened to the Gardevoir explain though he didn't seem to take inthe information, rather he had heard just enough to provoke his rare fury and the second the attacks began again his blades were drawn up to block each blow with equal force from his own. With his arms turned in to better allow his elbow blades room to work he took to dropping to a knee at random intervals to retaliate with slashes of his own with one arm while the other continued to parry with the Psychic's own weapon.
His aim was towards Anues midsection again, not out of a need to hit an vitals but because of a sadistic realization that he was less likely to kill with strikes in that area. It was wrong, but since when did he care about being right.
The Gardevoir's words stung in the sense that, yes maybe this wasn't the correct course of action. Why now? Why did he want revenge after so long?
It wasn't like he woke up this morning and felt the urge to kill. Maybe he'd let the hate fester for so long that it finally overtook every other sense. Including common sense.
A stab of pain in his shoulder snaped him back into focus with the understanding that he really needed to stop inner monologuing in the middle of a fight. The Gallade turned his head slightly to examine the needle embedded in his skin before diving to the side to avoid the others. Easily rolling back to his feet he turned and flung out an arm, a black mist slowly extening over his hands to go flying out towards Anues with the momentum of his swing in a Dark Pulse.

The idle Gardevoir’s attention followed the other male as he slid across the ground, taking the moment to act while he still could. He dashed off to the side and kept himself low to the ground in order to avoid the Dark Pulse while getting as close to the Gallade as possible but as he stood back full height in fear of being too slow, the Dark attack grazed the side of his head no lower than his temple. Shock quickly replaced the Gardevoir’s inability to continue in his actions as he kicked the Gallade back down and the needle still imbedded in the Gallade’s shoulder expanded briefly before exploding. With only one arm to deal with, the younger psychic grabbed onto the blade of his arm and steadily, though slowly began to bend it forward. It wasn’t a process easily rushed. The action alone cut his hand open and it gradually grew worse as he refused to let go, but that was ignored. Anues merely glared down at the Gallade in a very composed fury. Though his expression said nothing at all, his eyes and silence were easily threatening enough.
He honestly had it. Aire wasn’t innocent. Not at all, he’d give this b*****d that much credit but every insult progressively ate away at that until he was lower than she was. “I’m not a hateful person. Actually, I prefer leaning away from violence but you went too far.” The Gardevoir’s expression darkened as he pressured the Gallade’s blade further. His hand at this point was bleeding out faster than the nick beside his eye yet both injuries were ignored entirely. Anues gave a very slight waver as his motor skills slowly began to fail him with the damage done to his head, but there was nothing more after the one shallow motion. “I’ve been getting into so much s**t lately and all you’ve done is come to remind me I can’t let my guard down. You’re not involved in this guild business though, are you? Well… I guess you’re just unlucky then.” His psychic covered his forearm then and with one solid motion, Anues snapped the Gallade’s blade upward. He didn’t break it off though, no that would do nothing but relieve pain. He should just rip apart the Gallade’s mind here and leave him. Sadly, mental barriers were in the way and Anues didn’t have the patience to override it. If his words held true from before and he really could put up barriers around something as large as the bar, he was probably stronger than the Gardevoir anyway. Simply, Anues either couldn’t get into his mind, or it’d take forever. No, he didn’t have the patience for it.

Dizziness struck Anues again, leaving him to sigh quietly in his idle and rub his eyes with his free hand. He couldn’t do this much longer without possibly passing out in the process. Honestly, most of this was just bottled up stress. The insults just pushed him over the edge. Aire was always a touchy subject around him. Sadly, he couldn’t do this anymore and he was pretty sure he already messed up his psychic pretty badly. Risking passing out here would be the death of him one way or another have it be him bleeding out or this b*****d killing him before he died. “I should be going then. It was fun while it lasted though, I was hoping this would last longer but you decided to cut my head open…” Not that he planned it, but it happened and that was it. Anues released the Gallade’s bent blade and left his hand hovering for a moment as a splinter of psychic formed and just as quickly shot downward like a bullet against the other male’s skull. With that Anues turned, allowing his hand to fall back to his side as he walked off a few steps before teleporting back to the bar.
He ended up where he once stood, back against the door as he gave a sigh of relief and slid down it to sit on the ground. His eyes closed for only a moment before opening again. Something didn’t allow him to keep his eyes closed for long. That Gallade would be dead sooner or later and just as quickly he’d be right behind the younger psychic waiting for him to fall asleep so he can ******** everything up. Anues hoped the Gallade burned where he belonged. He cuffed his cut up hand in his uninjured one idly and simply stared off into the bar. It was fine, it wasn't burning down.

The Gardevoir appeared in a shrill louder than usual in the female's office, making the lights flicker as his psychic gave an unbalanced burst via his teleport, which, always existed for such a method of movement but not often incorrectly as his did. it was a simple indication that something was wrong. Likely internally. He made no eye contact with the other Gardevoir just yet in favor of rubbing his eyes as he turned in place to face where her presence was strongest. "You have such a bothersome gender." Anues' arm dropped back to his side on that note, sighing lightly as he did. He stared at her for a moment before looking off elsewhere. It was unclear, but he was upset. "Never knowing when to step off." The comment trailed off of a wordless thought as he turned again and walked to the chair closest to him; his excellent posture flawed. He took no hesitation in sitting down and promptly rested his arm against the arm rest where his eyes again closed. They hurt. His head hurt to some degree as well.

He couldn't stop thinking, though of what wasn't even worth asking. It only made the pain and feeling worse, not that it stopped him from doing so. That Gardevoir got to him more than she ever should have been capable of, which, in reality wasn't much at all but for him it was a large step in the wrong direction. Disagreeing with her never crossed his mind. There was no reason for it to. According to her, the sky is red but it's not. It's not at all.
He frowned slightly in his thoughts and his ears made a light flicker of movement. It was the only notification that he was still even conscious, having been otherwise entirely silent. Sadly, he wasn't a heavy drinker so getting rid of such thoughts weren't an option. At least it blurred to an extent.

{enjoy.}

There was really no point in making a new one, the old one was just fine. Though a bit outdated, but Aire'd be damned if she allowed any of her workers to roam about in what she deemed to be rags.
The bar was closed for the day, much to Thorn's distress, and she'd taken her leave upstairs to hole up in her office as she usually did, though this time was not because she was pissed off. It was thanks to a sudden creative spark that tugged at her mind. The world was ending, but no need to dress like a hobo while it happened. She'd be stitching if anyone needed her.
Rolls of fabric were ripped from their storage closet with a Psychic, thread unrolled from its spools. Supplies out she strolled to her desk and ripped a piece of paper from the notebook sititng at the corner. The click-click of a pen akin to a sword unsheathing and she stepped into battle.

Before her a mannequin, decked out in black fabric and white lace, sagged under the weight of the clothe she continued to casually toss over it before discarding in disgust.
Making outfits was easy, deciding colors and fabric choices was not. Aire had a tendency to nitpick over every detail when it came to her starting a project. The design itself was completed, the sketch laying across her desk, but she always took forever tweaking the aesthetics to the point she grew frustrated and would toss the whole thing out the window. This had happened on more than one occasion. Thorn was not amused.
If she noticed him snap into existence she made no reaction; though how one could ignore a sound like that was beyond her. His accusations were dismissed with a flick of her hand as she raised it to rethread her needle that continually lost its thread due to her absentminded scrutinizing of the outfit. Once it was looped back into place she moved to adjust the white trim of the collar and sew it in place, inwardly deciding how to deal with this new problem.
He was upset, granted. That much she knew and from the smell he'd also been in her liquor cabinet. Wonderful. Arceus help him if her 100 proof was missing.
That being said there were two things she could do that would obtain the same results. Ask him and have him not say anything. or not ask him and have him not say anything. He was consistent, she'd give him that much, and the older Gardevoir was severely lacking in the patient section at the moment as well. So she settled for not saying a word and continuing with her work. If he truly wanted to talk he would talk, if he didn't it was really no skin off her bones since the affairs of others held no interest to her. Aire was selfish in that regard, her own time she held in higher standards than anyone else and wasting it was a true crime in her eyes.
'He'll talk if he wants.' She reminded herself, glancing to her desk at her design before resuming the tedious task of lining the fabric up perfectly and sewing it into place.
Get a sewing machine, Aire. It's much faster. So she'd been told, but from what she saw it was sloppier too and she only trusted her own two hands to handle these jobs.
Selfish indeed.

He didn't move upon making himself comfortable where he sat, but as the welcoming silence lingered, he could feel his consciousness wavering. It was a calming state of limbo, but falling asleep was all too risky as well. Needless to say, that didn't stop him from doing so as he waited for a response for what seemed like an eternity. He was listening for anything really, but it never seemed to come. She was probably upset about something, but that never stopped her from snapping at him about something or another before. Anues missed it in his state of stress.
Still, as the seconds ticked, his ears lowered and any slight movements he may have made ended. This only lasted a short while, as it was promptly disturbed by him jumping up in place, alert and awake as if he'd startled himself. He stared off in mild panic before just as quickly relaxing and slouching where he sat. Now he just looked exhausted, but that's what he got for falling asleep. Now time perspective messed with him, but everything was overall the same. He was still here, Aire was still working. Nothing changed; he just dazed. Still, Anues frowned. Nothing was said, he was sure. Why though?

He'd have to take some approach, but considering what to even say was drown out by simply watching her work and examining her movements closely. He got what he needed without even really considering it; instead speaking out of general curiosity. "You seem more concentrated than usual. How's the progress going, then?" He rested his head against the back of the chair, avoiding any use of his muscles as he continued to simply stare between her and her hands. In his mind, his psychic felt like it was at war with the calming poison that took its toll on it. He involuntarily watched his vision shift randomly between harsh blurring and clarity as his psychic faded in and out. His eyes depended on his psychic above all, but he didn't seem entirely bothered by it. It'd end eventually.

Aire didn't pause once again, rather she continued to ignore the Gardevoir dozing in and out on the couch. It was more of a hassle addressing his problem than to simply pretend he wasn't there. It wasn't that she truly didn't care, it was more likely she didn't have the time to care. Her projects came before anything else, it was one of the few things she enjoyed anymore and Anues little attitude could be dealt with later.

Her eyes were drawn once more across the collar she was toying with and she carefully picked her scissors back up to cut the lace design that would go at the top. The world was forgotten momentarily as she bunched fabric, folding cloth over, sewing things together. By the time she realized it had been near an hour she was nearly done and almost jump in alarm when she heard Anues speak, having forgotten he was there to begin with.

"This? I'm nearly done. As for you there are a few things you should know if you ever find yourself in an arguement with a woman." She said quietly and then without missing a beat she turned and looped her measuring type around his waist and tightened it down. she grabbed it where it came together, folded around him and whipped it away just as quickly.
"Despite what you think you know about women, how much you believe you are right, regardless of any proof you have-"
Raising her thumb that had marked the place she made a sound akin to a growl though somewhat muted before looping the measuring tape around the mannequin and adjusting it as needed before continuing. "-the woman is always right."

Still half-facing the mannequin she raised a finger to silence any protests that might begin and this information. "Even if you're right. You are wrong. Even if she's wrong. She is right. There is no arguing with a woman, ever. All you're doing is setting yourself up for annoyance."

The older Gardevoir considered what she said and then gave a wry smile before folding a smaller layer of white fabric over the black at the figures waist.
"There is no arguing with the truth, my dear. The truth of the matter is my gender, which you seem to find so annoying, are the only ones on this planet that have realized that simply by refusing to give into an arguement we hold the cards. Men are so much more simple, they dislike carrying on and will drop the subject or agree just to get it on."
She rethreaded her needle once more, this time with black thread, before turning to smile at him.

"She said something you didn't like and instead of holding you're ground you ran away, didn't you?" Aire pointed the needle at him as she spoke and then shook her head. "Typical. Because you didn't like what was being said you left rather than argue. That is where our gender differs"

His eyes had closed again in wait for a reply from the other Gardevoir though it was unlikely he would fall asleep again with his previous scare. Still, he made no motion aside from a swift twitch from his ears as she'd finally spoken and his only immediate reply was to frown and open his eyes. He didn't recall having started this topic, at least not right away. Now he just didn't want to hear about it. typical. It ended and that was that. It was his own fault for stating such to a female's face, not that he considered that just yet. Still, Anues did listen. Perhaps he'd find an answer, perhaps he'd hear nothing he didn't already know. It didn't help that he was losing her words as she spoke on. Nothing really stuck at all but he continued to listen because it was all he could do. Anues wanted to go nowhere at all; he didn't respond in the slightest to the tape measure. Not even a spark of thought.
So. He was never right and he could never win. Was he really so easy to look down on when the only option left was defeat? Maybe that just makes women ignorant. The male closed his eyes in his thoughts and began to lazily draw circles on his thigh with his finger. There was no winner, actually. They merely got the better end of the deal given it doesn't bite them back in the long run. Maybe that made Aire smart then. He knew in the back of his mind she'd been there. The thought made the purple eyed Gardevoir involuntarily bring his gaze up to the female's face before promptly dropping forward again. A few seconds more and his eyes fell to his lap.

As per usual, her words went by without issue. At least until she finally pinned the conversation on him, making the male's attention swiftly turn to meet her with a glare. It was once in forever he gave her such behavior, but it wasn't often she did such things either. She was right. At least to some extent. The conversation with Irilyss was a bit out of place, but maybe Aire's explanation brought light to why it played out as it did. Still, Anues quickly dropped the attitude and returned to leaning back in his chair. "Well, no point saying otherwise, right?" The response drifted off on a breath and nothing more, stating his defeat as well as his lesson learned, though he stood his ground and remained where he rested. Was it worth anything? No, not at all. He could say plenty but the path of this conversation was already closed out. Not due to Aire herself, but because he didn't want to start this all over again. He had plenty of cocky remarks in mind, but nothing he'd probably not get smacked for.

"What the hell happened?!"
Thorn was more than a little unerved when her employer stepped into the bar with her coat torn on either side and stained to a darker shade of black from the blood that was visible over both her hands as she held them over the wounds there.
The Roserade was given nothing more than a dark glare before the female Pyschic stalked upstairs and slammed the door closed behind her.
The grass type inhaled deeply, exasperated by the Gardevoir's actions.
She was annoyed enough not to bother asking if her help was required, not that Aire would accept it anyways, but still.

Upstairs Aire flung open drawer after drawer in search of her first aid kit which had a bad habit of never being where she could find it. Cursing her inability to organize properly she kicked open the closet to find it peering mockingly at her from the top shelf.
Snatching it down with a grumble she opened it in fury to find the bandages missing entirely. She'd just stocked this, where had it gone.
The Psychic sat down on the ground, quickly exhausting herself with her outrage.
b*****d...b*****d, I'll kill you. You're dead...DEAD... before the hormones caught up to her and she dissolved into tears on the floor.
"Stupid..."
Aire glanced up at the voice, finding Thorn standing in the door with the roll of bandages in her hand.
"...can't leave you alone for more than a moment...can I?"
The taller female gave a sniff, wiping her nose on her sleeve.
"b***h."
"No more than you. Now come here and let me fix you..."

Patching the disgruntled Gardevoir up and leaving her in a room where they kept the stock supplies for alcohol was not one of Thorn's shining moments
