DBZ's big problem was 14 pages of comic book doesn't not translate well into 22 minutes of animation

I have the first two Box-Sets of DBZ, it's fun to watch to me... if you can watch the episodes in rapid succession the lag isn't so bad.

DBZ was one of the first animes I ever watched. I liked it at first, but then it kept repeating itself over and over.

xD I think most people had a start with DBZ as far as anime goes...unless they're part of the new generation who started on Pokemon and Digimon...or the newest generation starting on...eeeh..Naruto.
