The next thing Jericho knew was that he suddenly felt something hit his chest. Glancing down, he could see the paint splattered all over the armor. This was quickly followed up by another one hitting him straight in the head.
"TIAMAT'S s**t!" he cursed loudly while throwing down his gun. How could have let this happen!?
With a huff, he grumbled to himself while planting himself in his spot.

Riley did not account for instinct. It was a fatal mistake, as she heard Jericho hit not once, but twice. Enraged, she brought her gun up and aimed for the shadows, firing off a round before ducking behind a nearby wall. She couldn't tell if it missed or not, but the satisfying splatter of paint was nowhere to be heard.
Well, so much for that plan. Riley flattened against the wall, watching carefully as the shadows came closer - Yaya and Sharra. Ooh, she'd never heard the end of this one.

Calder was still moving slowly with Barth but heard another series of shots. "Okay, I've had enough." He huffed, and reached back for the most technologically advanced thing he owned - his phone.
Sliding it open, he slowly worked the texting to his teammates. It wasn't much as he had to be alert, but there was just one thing he needed to know.
Calder shut his phone and stuffed it back into his pocket before taking Barth's hand again. Buddy system. So Manly.

Shehk heard another shot go down. Had that been her team or the other? Either way, she was starting to think that this game really sucked..and that she needed to move faster.
Jack dammit.

Smug, that was about where the djinn was at as she and Sharra strode through the maze. Well.. she limped, but it was a very proud sort of limp. They'd taken out Jericho and sent Riley running, this game rocked. Then her phone buzzed where it was clipped to her hip, followed by the familiar drums and flutes of of her ring tone, Jia Ho. She silenced it quickly, sliding her finger along the screen to unlock it and read the message. Ha, oh Calder. Her fingers flew as she quickly typed out a reply. To Calder Not in the least. Sharra and I just took out Jericho and set Riley on the retreat. =D

As if that excitement wasn't enough.. Somewhere up north, Calder and Barth seemed to have made it around the corner of a wall when something whizzed by them from behind.. It seems they had just walked by Shehk, but her shot missed! The game was on! Shehk's auto-kill from being passed was missed due to the Barth token! It's a shoot-out - Shehk and Calder, roll 1d20! And yes, this is STILL THE SAME ROUND. XD

Shehk couldn't help but swear (A lot, most of it was under her breath) when her first shot had missed the kelpie, stomping one foot before she lifted her gun and again pulled the trigger.
DAMMIT. SHE SUCKED AT AIMING.
WHY WAS SHE ALONE IN THIS??

Calder was turning a corner of a wall, trying to move Bath aside when his phone buzzed. Yes, he did put his on vibrate. He tended to like it, not that anyone should judge him on that. Just as he was about to reach for his phone, he felt a puff of air whiz by.
Eyes wide, he turned to see something in the fog, and also, something tall and flapping. Was that....THE FLAG?!!!
Calder rose his gun up and aimed. He would do this. He had to do this! FOR NAP!

Swearing again, Shehk stomped one foot. Too bad the intense look of I am a sore loser and I will break your nose if you take me out and gloat about it was completely obscured by her mask, growling under her breath as she again pulled the trigger.

Calder blew and spoke something that sounded like a cut off neigh but more choppy. It seemed if someone knew the vernacular of kelpie, they would be running off to tell a teacher. HE MISSED! HOW THE HECK -
Flicking his hair over his shoulder, he aimed again. Come on. Cccoooommmeee oonnnn.

Calder felt a hit right in his shoulder and swore outright so loudly that it could probably be heard across the field. He tossed his gun at the ground and stomped down one hoof, before plopping right on his backside. "This game rots."
So much for being a hero for his team. Seemed he never got to be the impressive hero. Paintball. He'd have to mark that on his list of "Things I Suck At" when he got back to his dorm.

Barth, after being yanked around a bit more and ignoring his phone, found himself in the middle of an intense shootout. It was, in short, exactly what he'd wanted to avoid. With Calder down, hiding seemed like a good option.
But it wasn't like he didn't know his way around guns.

Just as Barth's paintball splatters against the last Fitness player, the fog mysteriously lifts, leaving all the players free to move around and see their surroundings. Magical text also seems to float in the air.. CONGRATS N.A.P. ON WINNING THE FIRST GAME OF PAINTBALL!

. . . . .
Oh. Shehk was pissed. She was more than pissed. She had taken out one problem just to find out she was settled with another one, crossing her arms and seeming just pissed about the whole thing, but making no effort to lay on the ground or play 'dead' like she was supposed to.
"Aş putea rahat în gură." she hissed, the grip of the gun tightening in her hand, looking at the words that had formed in the air and baring her fangs at them.
She wasn't going to 'play dead' even for the formality of it.
"Acest lucru nu este acceptabil. Eu nu va accepta acest lucru."
