"s**t!" Freak ducked under the lariat, which left Major wide open...and he soon had the Deific Champion clinging to his back, sinking in a sleeper hold variation. The Intercontinental Champion quickly found himself getting lightheaded and began staggering as he started to flail his arms in an effort to try to keep his balance. He started trying to get to the ropes, but the effects of the blood choke were starting to take their toll on the big man, forcing him down to a knee just out of reach of the ropes (although in this environment, grabbing them wouldn't have meant a damn thing) as he began blacking out.

Once the flailing of his arms began to dramatically slow, the referee grabbed his arm and raised it, only for it to immediately fall back to Major's side. Darkness was beginning to envelop the edges of Major's vision.

A second time his hand was raised, and a second time it fell. The big man was fading fast.

When his hand was brought up a third time, the IC champ managed to pull himself together just enough to stop his arm from falling limp one last time. He knew if he didn't manage to get out of this predicament quickly, he would very likely end up passing out and lose his precious championship. He would attempt to use what composure he had remaining to grab Freakshow's legs and try to power his way back to his feet, and, if successful, would then try to throw his feet out from under him in a desperate attempt to break the Asiatic Spike by squashing Freak under his 270 pound frame.

"No.." Freakshow's eyes widened as Major's hand didn't go down the third time.. "No!" The big man begins powering his way up! He tries wrenching on the hold harder, it does him no good. This is when he looks up, and notices Duality poised for a dropkick! He clenches his eyes shut, and begins to let go of the submission, but it's too late!

He hits the ground and is crushed underneath the weight of Major! It forces all the wind out of him, he gasps out in pain, now having just as much trouble breathing as the person he'd applied a choke hold to!

Freak was more or less unaware that he was in a pinning predicament. He was more occupied with his inability to breath. It was only when the ref began hitting the mat for the count that this was brought to his attention, audibly. 1..2..Th- Freakshow kick out just barely, expending what little energy he had left! The fans aren't very happy with this at all!

Damn! He kicked out...

As Major began to regain his composure bit by bit, he rolled off of Freakshow and began slowly trying to pull himself back up to his feet...that is, until Duality grabbed a handful of his trousers and the scruff of his neck before introducing his shoulder to the ringpost, which drew a howl of pain from the Intercontinental Champion. He stumbled out of the corner, holding his shoulder, before he rolled out of the ring to assess the damage.

Freakshow begins getting up barely able to do so without falling over a few times. Finally, he rises up to his feet, and is surprised when he's put into a front facelock! He knew this couldn't possibly be good for him, at this point in the match, beaten and battered, he was unsure of if he could recover from it. So, desperate to stay in this, he tries throwing a couple of shots to the kidney with his left hand, hoping to loosen the grip..

Then, if this worked out, he'd try leaning over, scooping up Dualities leg and tripping him, intent on holding on and using what little power he had left for a desperation Figure Four Leg Lock!

The fans woo, then boo as Freak applies the time tested hold! Not only would this inflict damage, but it'd allow him a very much needed rest. He props himself up on his elbows, so as to avoid getting himself in a pinfall predicament , occasionally though, he'd rock back against the ground to apply more pressure. "C'mon! Tap!" He shouts. almost frantically, "Ask him!" He snaps at the ref, turning red in the face.

On the outside of the ring, Major winced as he began to roll his shoulder. The good news was that it didn't appear to be dislocated...it just hurt like hell.

It would also appear that there was another, more urgent, problem. Namely, the fact that Duality was currently trapped in a FIGURE-4 LEG LOCK!!! With his bad arm hanging loosely at his side, the Marine would slide back into the squared circle as quickly as his body would allow before attempting to deal with the submission hold by trying to deliver a stiff kick to Freakshow and Duality's tangled legs, which hopefully would cause Freak to break the hold...or at the least, impart enough additional momentum for the struggling luchador to get the Deific champ turned over.
