Out of the dragon cave ran a rather tall dragon like a bat out of Hell. It looked wild and frantic. Chasing after it was a young "man" with a rope. "Out of the way! Get out of the way!" Jordan picked up the pace and managed to get next to it, throwing the rope around the dragon's neck. The dragon only got more wild and started moving around in odd directions, trying to get the rope off. But, Jordan wasn't letting go; instead, she made her way onto the dragon's back, and the dragon passed three people (Zaul, Krystal, and Ryu) before flipping over, attempting to land on its back and crush Jordan. "Oh, no you don't! I've seen this trick before!" She leaned to the left, recieving only a small bit of damage to her leg. The dragon laid there, stunned for a few minutes, and she took advantage of that. Quickly, she tied the dragon's legs together, bringing the head down to the stomach as she did. "Now, you need just need to calm down." The dragon glared at her, but it slowly began to calm down as if knowing it had been defeated. "There we go. That's good." She put a hand on the dragon's head, showing it she didn't mean any harm to it, and the dragon let out a breath through its nose.

((OOC: hi people! i hope its safe to post! also i wanted to remind you that the dragons in asgard are two legged like the velocidragon monsters. ^^))

Zaul

Asgard

Krystal couldn't help but smile slightly from listening to Zaul. "I'm not sure if there are others like me out there. My home planet, Cerinia, was completely destroyed. I admit that I've never seen creatures like you before." She said. Now that she thought of it, if this isn't the Dinosaur Planet, then where was she? "Could you tell me the name of this planet?" It was then she saw the ninja male approach them. "I suppose you could say that. I am a stranger here." She narrowed her eyes at the man, noting that he was acting friendly.

The ninja put away the throwing knife he had hidden, he then bowed to the two, and said to the blue haired man: "Ahh, I was asking you both this, because Ive seem to of lost my way. I can clearly tell now, that I am not in the world familiar to me... I wanted to ask you... What world is this?"

"Wha..." Zaul blinked in befuddlement as Krystal practically implied she was from a whole 'nother world, and one that was destroyed at that. "...Wow. I'm sorry t' hear that, ma'am." _O;;

And then this man...was he implying that he was from a world outside this one too? "The world that is not familiar" to him...it sounded kind of off the way he said that... The worlds had been together for about four-and-a-half years, so surely any agents from Mizuho who were tasked to have already checked out the Sylvarant areas. "Well, yer in luck 'cause that's just about th' same thing she asked." He pointed at Krystal with his thumb. "Anyhoo, this's---whoa!" For a moment, he looked to the side because the rampaging dragon caught his eye, and he dodged out of its way as it zipped past him. Looking back to the two, he continued, "As I was sayin'. This world's called Aselia, but right now, it's split inta two, Sylvarant n' Tethe'alla. We're currently on Sylvarant." Glancing, for a moment, at the scene where the "young man" restrained the dragon, he made a sigh of relief. Turning back his attention to Krystal and the ninja, he added, "D'you guys wanna talk somewhere a li'l calmer? We're in th' busiest part of town, might get hard t' communicate."

Rief - Palmacosta

At last, the young Mercury Adept had reached the gates of the town he had spotted, and he was panting. He had additionally been pestered by a few giant beetle creatures, but that wasn't too bad; he only had to use his staff to whack them away.

Upon entering further in, he noticed that the signs were written in an alphabet that he had never seen before, and that made him a bit nervous. If he couldn't tell what place was what, he wasn't sure where he could go for information. At the very least, he could try to get by on context clues like any painted pictures in the signs, or what the appearance of the structures implied.

After looking around and with some luck, he found a shop. What it sold wasn't the usual fare he'd see in Weyard. Instead of health-replenishing Nuts and Herbs, there were a variety of what he was told were "gels". There was also an assortment of bottled potions, some that mimicked the effects of Waters of Life, Sacred Feathers, and Antidote herbs. The shopkeeper looked at Rief a little weirdly while he asked what was what, thinking that this was a kid who might've never been outside in his life.

Rief ended up buying a couple of maps. Originally, he asked for just one, but the shopkeeper said something about him needing another one because "the worlds are currently separated and who knows when they'll be put back together." Such words struck him as odd, as he knew Weyard wasn't exactly in a state the shopkeeper described. This made him begin to wonder deeply and worriedly where exactly he was now. What confused him was that he was able to pay for his maps with his coins (which, unbeknownst to him, looked coincidentally like Gald, and he thought the shopkeeper just had a funny way of pronouncing "gold"), but what was this unfamiliar writing he was seeing everywhere? And these items he had never seen anywhere else?

Leaving the store, Rief looked for a place where he could sit down and examine his maps, soon ending up taking a bench at the plaza. He was in for a surprise once he unraveled them---the layout of the lands did not match Weyard's at all! He even took out his own map of his home world to do side-by-side comparisons and confirm. The revelation made almost made him quiver out of fear and sheer astonishment---it was overwhelming to think that he truly was in another world.

((Okay, now would be a good time for anyone to chance upon Rief. 3nodding If anyone has any characters right in the town of Palmacosta. User Image I can wait. Otherwise, I may get him to start moving again a few posts later.))

Asgard

"I see..." The ninja stopped to think to himself for a moment, he was shocked to find out that he was no longer in Japan. It was when a raging dragon passed by, when he came back to reality. He quickly dodged it. "What was that? Either it must be common you see dragons storm this village...Or something is not at ease with this world" He turned back to the two, then hearing Zaul's question. "Yes, perhaps it would be best if we found a less busy spot?"

Asgard

Krystal frowned slightly when Zaul said that he was sorry to hear about Cerinia's destruction. "To this day, I'm unsure on what caused its destruction." She said just before the dragon caught her eye when it passed by them. She would jump back to get out of the way, though she took a defensive stance as she held her staff just as Zaul mentioned about they were in Aselia. "A world split in two? How is that even possible?" There was a look of confusion in the blue vixen's eyes. After noticing that the dragon was tamed, she relaxed slightly then turned her attention to Zaul and the ninja. "Yes, it would be best to find a more comfortable spot."

Triet Desert

"Sure." Aeris replied to Lee as she raise her arms in the air, her rod floating parallel to the ground. She would cast Thunder, a low-level lightning spell, on the scorpion to finish it off. She would glance over to Lee and Luka with a soft friendly smile. "Thank you both very much for your help. I almost thought that I would be the only one traveling through this desert." ^_^

Jordan untied the dragon and it stood. She rested her hand on its nose and pulled on the rope to urge it forward. The dragon hesitated, but followed. "There we go. Everything's going to be okay. I'll take care of you." Jordan looked at the people watching her. "Sorry, everyone! He was startled by the newcomer. Back to whatever it was you were doing." She led the dragon back to the cave, passing the three people. She offered an apology before returning to the cave and setting him back in his cage, the other dragons welcoming him back. "One of these days, you will have to teach me how you control these animals so well." "You just have to understand them. They're really quite gentle once you've gotten to know them." "I'll leave that to the younger generation. I'm too old for all this excitement." Jordan laughed and looked at her boss. "What are you talking about? You're in your prime, old man."

House of Salvation (Palmacosta area)

Ashton pointed his thumb at his back. "Like we said, these guys are demons... Sort of." The dragons nodded.
Miles also nodded. "So it would seem. In any case, thank you. I truly wish I could look around for myself, but I'm just an old priest." He seemed truly sorry that he had to ask others to investigate for him, even if it was only looking around a bit while they traveled. "If you wish to stay here, feel free to use our facilities."
"I don't know, Miles. I gotta find out how to get back home." Ashton seemed to want to leave at once, for the day was still young. The dragons seemed to be questioning his decision. "Not that I don't like you! You've been great to me, but I... I just want to go home." Even though it was interesting, he wanted to return to Expel. He did seem to think that he was giving the wrong impression, however. He didn't want to seem like he was hurrying to leave these people because he disliked them. "And, you know, the day is still young..."

Zaul - Asgard

While waiting for the two's answers, Zaul suddenly found, in his mind's eye for a few seconds, the image of a strange, dark blue machine sitting at the peak of a mountain. This caused him to blink in confusion, then scratch his head wondering how and why that suddenly popped into his thoughts. He was snapped back to reality by Krystal and Ryu's responses to his question. "Uh, right. Right this way, sir n' ma'am." He started to to lead the others toward the second part of town, explaining further to the ninja, "That ain't nothin' t' worry too much 'bout. That there dragon, as demonstrated by that trainer, is tame. People ride 'round on those."

The other part of Asgard was considerably calmer than the main part, being the more residential district. There were still people about in the streets, but much fewer in number. Some would stare bewilderedly at the odd trio passing by, but only for fleeting moments before going on with their lives.

Once Zaul saw an empty corner ideal to him, he stopped right there and turned back to the two accompanying him, picking up where he left off. "But it is true there ain't somethin' at ease in th' world these days." He paused to look up at the sky for a second, then continued. "Y'don't see it now, but sometimes a siz'ble black circle can be seen in th' sky. It's a comet. N' after that comet appeared, it was 'ventually found out that the worlds split. When people in Sylvarant tried t' go to the Tethe'alla lands, they just...weren't there anymore. Them scientists're still tryin'a figure out how it happened. N' that's all I know."

After explaining things, he suddenly had a realization that made him facepalm at myself. "Augh, where're my manners? sweatdrop I'm Zaul, by th' way."

Sheena tried to take in what the boy was saying, which was mostly gibberish it seemed. She sighed, trying to relax her way out of the tense feelings that near-fight brought. Giving the boy her attention, Sheena took a more relaxed pose, as she mentally cataloged the boys words. "I see. You're in a land called Sylvarant now. I don't know your Society, but it sounds like your crazy. No one here knows of any place like that. Your duty doesn't seem fitting here either." She paused, frowning in thought. "You must be from another land entirely. In our travels we saw much of the worlds we live in. The place your speaking of must either be in another world, hidden from our own, or at least, not on the mainlands of either continent." She explained, looking around. "How did you get here?" She pressed, deciding that this was just important enough to stay around for. Otherwise, she needed to be moving on. The shadow was a terror every second it was left alone.

"Well it makes sense you wouldn't have found the Soul Society, since it's the land of the dead. And the captain and I got here through a mix up on my part..." Christopher said, "We were supposed to be hunting hollows in Karakura when I got the destinations for our hell butterflies mixed up and we ended up here..." It wasn't one of his biggest screw ups, so far as he'd counted, but Soi Fon was still furious just the same. She had sheathed her blade and was watching him carefully, a scowl on her face.

Asgard Ryu Hayabusa

The ninja seemed confused. Where he came from dragons were not means of transportation, he spoke up after Zaul finished. "That's strange... Dragons are ancient creatures, I never remembered them being able to be ridden on"
As Zaul told them about the comet, The ninja stared up at the sky. He began to speak as he was looking up still. "A comet? how could a comet cause worlds to separate...? Perhaps this is why Ive been brought here"

The ninja, after hearing Zaul's introduction, realized he himself never gave his name. "Pleased to meet you Zaul, Im Ryu Hayabusa. I am the leader and lone survivor of the Hayabusa clan"

He then turned to Krystal, adding on to what he said. "Pardon me for asking...Would it be any trouble to get your name?"

Iselia

The metal figure stood up, he somehow made a screen appear in front of him, he began moving his finger around it, and tapping the screen.

He let out a sigh, and then it all of the sudden closed.
"I guess there is no data here, It looks like ill have to move on"
He turned towards the gate, heading in the direction of Triet.

Krystal followed the ninja and Zaul to the second part of the town. What caught her attention was when Zaul mentioned about the comet. She would look up at the sky for a moment. "A comet that could split a world in two?" She frowned a bit. "Sounds to me that this comet may prove to be a threat to your world. If it may be the case, then allow me to investigate on this matter. I don't wish to see another world to end up like Cerinia." After Zaul had introduced himself, she would hold her hand out to shake Zaul's. She then glanced over to Ryu. "I'm Krystal. Pleasure to meet you."

Sheena shook her head. Land of the dead, hell butterflies? The pair had to be from far away, or completely crazy together. Sheena wanted to know more, and part of her wanted to help them return to wherever they came from, but this seemed unrelated to the shadow all together. She was wasting time just sitting here, though they were interesting and probably valuable for information. "I would like to help you out, but I'm afraid I have important things to do." She said, before turning and walking away. "I'm going towards a town called Triet. Its in the desert south of here." She explained, before starting down the forest path. The pair were so strange, it left her irritated, but also curious to know more. For now, learning about their home wasn't as important as the problem at hand. Finding Lloyd would help, but he was always on the move, so things would not be so easy. Sheena paused, realizing she had forgotten her manners. "I'm Sheena, by the way. Sheena Fujibayashi." She said back to them, before continuing. Times like this made her wish she had a Rheiard.

Chris looked to Soi Fon as Sheena turned to leave, then walked to the captain as Sheena introduced herself, waving as the fellow ninja left.
"That could've gone better..." Chris said, rubbing the back of his head. Soi Fon simply closed her eyes to think.
"If she has the Reiatsu to see us, she could be a target for..." She began, but a trio of all too familiar howls cut her off. In a flash Soi Fon's eyes were open, and Chris was on edge.
"I hate when we're right sometimes..." Chris muttered, and the duo turned to chase Sheena down.

As Sheena walked the path, a large serpentine beast crossed into the path ahead of her. It's upper body was vaguely humanoid, covered in thick black fur, with thin arms ending in cruelly hooked hands, while it's lower body was that of a great snake, with sickly green scales. It's face was the worst, however, a bone white mask twisted with pain. The monster had turned when it sensed Sheena, and let out a howl at the sight of her. Two more howls answered it, and the monster began moving towards her.

House of Salvation (Palmacosta area)

Youmu too wanted to get it all over with and go back to Gensokyo. Hopefully her mistress would understand that she needs the rest after what she was planning to do, but she probably wouldn't. "Well, if you can't come along, and since I might as well try to do this and see if it gets me home, I could tell you about it if I ever come by again, if you'd like that?" She said. He did explain a few things to her after all and did give her some tea, so story telling is the least she could do for Miles.
Youmu was taken aback by Ashton's statement about the day still being young. "U-umm, yes, it is still young, isn't it?" She didn't mean to sound awkward at the beginning, but she really did not know where Ashton was planning to go with that.

Genis slumped to the House of Salvation. He was sick of all these monsters and demons, and would rather be fighting Yggdrasill or Pronyma or someone for all eternity. Why was it Aselia that always attracted these sort of things? "Man....Where's Lloyd? I could use his upbeat attitude right about now." It was weird, but Lloyd's attitude was like an addictive drug or something. In a way, it seemed to be one of the few things that kept the group going during Colette's journey. Especially after Kratos's and Mithos's betrayals. Well, Genis clung to Lloyd's friendship after the Mithos thing, but the entire group was hurt by Kratos's betrayal. But, Lloyd kept going and seemed to drag them with him. Genis looked around, seeing a couple of people. They did not look like Aselians, Tethe'allan or Sylvaranti. Or, both. "I bet the last of my gald they're not from here. Man. People are showing up all over the place. Wonder if Raine's met any yet...."
