Devon's eyes had bags under them as he walked into the super market that was only a couple blocks from his apartment. He rubbed his eyes with his thumb and index finger, stifling a yawn, "Damn cough, won't let me sleep." he muttered under his breath, getting a few things that he'd ran out of at home; a small tub of coffee, bread, and a few other miscellaneous items, along with some cough drops that would help with his sore throat, quickly paying for them and then walking out, slipping his hands into his pockets and walking slowly back home.

Devon noticed Ze pass by him on his way home, and he curiously followed him, not really wanting to go back home right now and also not having any place in mind he'd like to go, so he'd just waste time. He silently walked behind Ze about ten to fifteen feet so he wuldn't be noticed, and when the other'd gotten to the dojo, Devon decided he'd just wait across the street on a bench or something, not really wanting to be discovered as of yet. He sat on a concrete bench across the street that had one of those advertisements for lawyers on the back, and he set his bag of groceries on the bench next to him. He yawned and leaned back, letting his arms hang over the back of the bench and he stared up at the sky. Normally, Devon wouldn't dream at night, but for the past couple of days whenever he'd close his eyes to take a quick nap or anything, he'd see Ze's face. When the by was upset was the most frequent expression he'd see, but sometimes he see the hard to see and rare expressions that he'd only catch glimpses of when Ze would talk with Rose and not see Devon. Sometimes, Devon wondered what they'd be talking about to have that Ze smiling and laughing or being stubborn in a childish way that would make him pout in that cute fashion of his. Devon smirked as he remembered one time that he'd teased Ze about his pouty face, but then he shook his head. Maybe it was his fault that things were so difficult and complicated? He did always tease Ze and make him put up his gaurd just whenever Devon'd only look at him.

The karate training went on for a couple of hours before the class was released to go home. Ze felt like he'd really gotten some of the training done and was proud of himself. He changed back into his regular clothes and packed his uniform in a gym back he'd bought with him and left. He waved to some friends he'd made while their, saying he'd meet his uncle at home before he left. The boy sighed, moving some bangs from his eyes and looking around. A familiar figure caught his attention and he turned his dark brown eyes on Devon. A tinge went through him as his hair lifted some and his heart skipped a beat. (Oh no... don't tell me he saw me...) He cursed himself and turned quickly, speed walking down the street. he hadn't wanted anyone to know he was taking Karate until he at least got a level up in his belt color and it only made him feel even more self-conscious that his crush had seen him.

Ze had begun to relax, at least for a few minutes, as he moved himself away from Devon and his posture relaxed, his shoulders going back to neutral position and his hair laying flat. he sighed to himself and continued down the street, drifting in and out of thought. he didn't notice when Devon started walking with him until he went to turn to go down a different street and bumped into the boy and causing them both to topple onto someone's lawn. Heat instantly rushed into Ze's face and he rolled off Devon, glaring at him, "What's the big idea, Jackson? You can't annoy me enough at school?" He said, more annoyed at himself for not noticing Devon walking next to him. Then he remembered, "Anyway...shouldn't you be home? You're still sick..." he shoved his hands into his pockets, looking away from Devon and at the sky in thought.

Ze glared again at Devon, "I'd hit you if you weren't sick...." He mumbled, adjusting the strap of his bag. He sighed, "How long have you been stalking me, huh? I was...somewhere...for a couple of hours, you're not helping your condition by staying out too long like this. If you don't take proper care of yourself you'll just get worse and Alex and Rose are already through the roof worried about you...and so am I." he mumbled that last part to himself, scratching at the back of his neck, looking away from Devon again.

Ze turned to watch Devon and something tugged at him, which compelled him to follow the other, keeping a couple of feet between them. He rolled his eyes and ran a hand through his hair, mumbling things to himself again. He huffed, "I was in the dojo helping my uncle, who'd the co-owner. he said he was low on help moving some boxes in the store room and asked if I could help him out while he was teaching a class." he lied quickly, not meeting Devon's eyes as they showed he was lying and he didn't want him to know he was doing Karate at the moment.

"Dirty clothes..." Ze retorted back, which wasn't a complete lie there as he did have his Karate uniform in his bag and it was covered in his sweat, so it needed to be washed. His hair stood on end some more before he forced it to relax, "And I never said you were stupid, what I told you is the truth. I was helping my uncle."
