((Oh snap, people finally posted.))
Before Kira could slam into her new friends, someone caught her in his arms. She looked up and saw a guy with brown hair and brown eyes looking down at her. She recognized him from the university, but she could not put her finger on what his name was. She wonder what he was doing here and found it strange that she felt happiness coming from him like he was happy to see her. Well, she thought it was coming from him. It had to because she did not felt it until she was in his arms. However, how would he know, who she was was. She was in her armor. "You should be more careful, little lady." He said with a smirk, which made her blush. He let her down, back to her feet. "I should go before your friends see me here, but don't worry. You will see me again real so." He said as he simmered away.

Before any of them could leave the field, bolts of lightning struck the ground all around them. When the dust settled, a horde of white Jackals stood there. The bore egyptian armor and weaponry, growling and barking like feral animals even though they stood on their hind legs. Behind them were to figures that should be limited to ancient mythology.
One was a man, tall and strong. But his head was not human. Instead it was a black jackal with glowing green eyes. He carried a large scythe, the blade of wich glowed dark red. A soft smirk appeared on his face as he looked upon the Koukenger.
Right beside him was a woman. And just like him, she wasn't human, instead of a human head, she had the head of a cat. Her golden eyes shimmed lightly as she fiddled with the swords at her hip. "Well, well, well. So these humans are the ones who dare oppose us? These pitiful creatures think they can stop us from reclaiming our power?"
She began to laugh, tilting her head back. Meanwhile the jackal man growled softly and shook his head. "Kneel foolish mortals before your GODS. I am Anubis! And this is Bass! We are the rightfull owners of that power you seek and if you get in our way you will suffer for it. No one shall go against our Pharoh and his wishes. Surrender at once and we shall be merciful."

Before Kira could process what just happened and who was this guy, two beings appeared in front of the group. She looked over and thought they look kind of Egyptian. Soon, she realized she was right when they started to speak. "Bow down to you?! I am Christian! I only worship God!" She snapped at them, not able to take all the emotions mixed with her own. When she realized what she had done, she started to fear how the two might react. "I'm...sorry." She said in a scared voice, hoping they won't be too hasty.

Whew... that ugly thing was a pain to take down. Good thing Roids-lizard was defeated with that. Time to head home and have some well needed rest and rela-- *Before Orange could finish, the lightning struck around him. Stumbling back a bit, he sighed and shook his head.* Just when I thought we could relax. *Waving his hand a bit to clear the dust, he noticed more freaks in front of the group.* So we go from over-sized cave-lizards to Greek gods that like to lick their own private areas? Greaaaat.
*Hearing the pink and white colored person of the group, Evan chuckled a bit.* No need to apologize to these weirdos. It is enough creepiness that they chase their own tails, much less that they want us to kneel to them. Lets throw a toy mouse and some frisbees to distract them and take them out like we did the lizards. *Aiming the blaster still in his hand towards the apparent leader, he took a very casual stance. It was hard to tell if he did this to be cocky and insulting, or if he simply had no idea how to properly use a gun.* You DOGS should just give up while you can and go drink out of a toilet or something.

Hiro heard something "cracking" from above. On instinct, he raised his arm as the lighting strikes rained down from above. Hiro wobbled, but regained his footing. Noticing the new arrivals, he asked, "Who are these guys?"
He lowered his arm slowly as Anubis and Bass gave their introductions. He readied himself for what possibly was to come. He could guess already though that even as a team, there was no way they could take the two on.

"You're right, but I just been a bit moody lately. Not sure why though." Kira replied to the Orange Ranger when she realized he was talking to her. Then, she turned her attention back at the two. She hoped that they were not looking for a fight, but from what she heard, it probably will be.

Ryu groaned as he looked at orange. "Uh dude...one, they are egyptian. And two, don't piss off the obvious ones in control. Seriously..have you not watched any tv with super hero's? these guys are most likely pretty tough."
Anubis just raised a brow at the orange one's comments. But Bass wasnt soo calm. She hissed and drew her blades, ready to attack only to be stayed by Anubis's hand. "No Bass...dont soil your hands with their unclean blood."
He then addressed the rangers. "You would do well to listen to your red friend."
"Hey..last thing i want is to agree with a monster such as you. Besides...aren't the egyptian gods supposed to be dead? You look good for a corpse." Ryu said with a tilt of his head.
This made Anubis growl and he drew his weapon. But instead of attacking, he slashed the ground, creating a tear of energy. And out of this tear came a monster. It looked like a mixture of different animals with the head of a crocodile, the body of a leopard, and the legs of a hippo. "You shall pay for your insolence mortals. Ammut...devour their hearts."
Bass cackled and pointed at the rangers. "Alright you dogs. Sick 'em!"
With that, the monster and the fodders charged in. The fodder drew forth curved blades while Ammut just charged in, aiming right at red and orange. Ryu blinked and gulped. "Uh...oops?"

*Evan scoffed and shrugged off Red's comment.* Greek, Egyptian, Chineseian, it is one of those long dead civilization's failed incest-ridden Gods. As for watching TV, that is what I excel at. Trust me, these squirrel chasing furries worship a giant rock with berries squished on the side or something. They are not the ones in control. *After the exchange between Red and the one voted most-likely-to-chase-his-own-tail, Evan let out a large chuckle.* Nice one. And here you were scolding me for taunting them when your insult hit them more below the belt than their own tongues would.
*Noticing a second later that they were being charged by one third a hungry hippo and the pack of dogs, he began firing the blaster in his hand towards some of the charging fodder.* Ew, I turn away for a second and they get even grosser. What is that supposed to be? Someones nightmare while watching animal planet and having just eaten from Taco Hutt?

"Dammit" Hiro said under breath, drawing his gun. He fired several shots, each finding their mark, before he rolled under a slash from one of the new fodder while in the same motion attacking it with hard palm.
Hiro then noticed that one particular monster was charging at Ryu and Evan. "This isn't good."

Ryu blinked and shoved Evan out of the creature's path, barely managing to dodge as well. "Damn it. Okay..if i know my egyptian mythos correctly..i think that would be Ammut...the devourer of hearts. Ugly thing too."
Bass just laughed as the rangers faught the fodder. She made sure to bring a sizable force in the attempt to overwhelm them. "Yes...dance puppets dance. Hehe this is soo much fun...they wont last long eh anubis?"
"Hmmm...remember Bass...we are here for the omega energy. This is but a perk."

*Being shoved and falling over, Orange got back up to his feet as quickly as he could. Brushing some of the dust off himself that had been kicked up by the newest threat's arrival, he bent back to avoid the blades of some nearby fodder just in time. Stumbling back as he avoided them, he shot the attackers with his blaster then motioned to Red.* Thanks for the save I guess, but this isn't a moshpit. I could have avoided that myself... I think.
*Jumping back as a sword came down for him, Evan punched the nearest attacking dog-creature a few times before blasting it and a few more charging ones, missing every few shots.* Someone should have told them about spay and neutering your pets, there are too many of these things!
((NOTE (since I forgot to mention this earlier): Everyone should display their powers a bit in this fight. Purple/Hiro and Pink/Kira have done so, Orange/Evan will do so in the next post or two. This means Red/Ryu/Saicosis and White/Shawn/Ayame still need to display their primary abilities. ))

One of the new fodder's slashes cut Hiro hard in the chest as he tried to block/counter with his gun. "Dammit it!" he said, falling to the ground. This would be easier if I had a sword or something.
Quickly regaining his composure, he raised his gun from his prone position at the "dog" who was now going in for the kill. Getting up, Hiro noticed Red and Orange (possibly?) needing assistance. He started to race over towards them.

Kira felt a surge of anger, and she fell to her knees with her hands on her head. She was too tired to fight from earlier and feeling these emotions did not help. Bertil appeared by her side again, ready to defend her. "We should stop meeting like this." He said as he knocked out one of the monsters heading for her.

Ryu blinked as the monster turned around and charged at him again. He got hit hard, rolling backwards. But just as fast he got to his feet and charged in. Ryu delivered a kick to the mosters abdomin, grunted in some pain from the injuries he had substained. "I am not going down without a fight!"
Meanwhile, Anubis and Bass watched the fight. "Bass...did you notice these humans seem different from normal?"
"I did...what the hell are they? Some type of chimera?"
