Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Obviously pleased with the Sylph's initial reaction, Andrew was able to relax a bit, the idea of her hating the present fading from his list of fears. Of course, he knew the gesture that went along with the feather, as it was the only reason he would think to give such a gift. Still smiling, he rested an elbow against the top of the couch, placing his head against his hand as he spoke. "Yes, you did tell me. In fact, I beleive the word you used was 'exclusive'. Something I happily agree to." He was completely sincere with his words, but didn't want the atmosphere to be weighted or serious. Without a clear idea of how she would react, he spoke again, tying in the afternoon's news to his proposal of dating. "You mean alot to me, and I'm glad that you were willing to explain more of your family. I want you to know that you don't have to hide anything, alright?" His gaze shifted momentarily to the necklace still dangling from his fingertips, letting Rina take it when she was willing.

Quite pleased that he remembered what the object meant, she was about to reach out and take it when he spoke. Pursing her lips, the girl paused briefly before speaking. "It's not that I was hiding them as much as I was just didn't want people to know who I really am. Things ended.... badly the last time I had friends who knew." she explained, standing carefully from the couch. She raised one finger, as if to tell him to wait before moving carefully across the room and vanished through one of the bedroom doors. It was only a few minutes until she returned, carrying something wrapped in cloth in her hand. Seating herself carefully on the couch once more, she unwrapped the length of black velvet from the silver object inside. It was a small silver bird, feather details carved carefully into it's small features. Small, sparkling emeralds flashed from it's head, forming the bird's eyes. "This is the other half of the tradition. The girl gives a small token of some sort in return for the necklace. It's supposed to be small enough to carry with you, but you can just keep it in your room." she offered the object to him, waiting to see if he'd take it before reaching for the necklace.

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Although he wished to ask what occured the last time her identity was released, he stayed quiet, feeling that perhaps it would be a story for a different time. Accepting her explanation at that, he waited patiently as Rina moved into what he assumed was her bedroom. He glanced at the door curiously, wondering why she left rather unexpectedly, and for what purpose. He kept still however, letting her take her time until she eventually returned, something covered with velvet in hand. He listened to her, now understanding what she was doing during the brief absence. His smile returned, and he accepted the token as he let the princess do the same. Studying the silver object, Andrew was able to distinguish the eleborate designs portraying the wings, and the sparkling emeralds meant to be eyes. While the bird was a beautiful piece of workmanship, his smile would come from its symbolic meaning, a prideful declaration of thier new status of exclusive dating rights.

"I wouldn't trust it to stay safe in my cluttered room, especially with graduation only a short while away." It was true that he would be a graduate soon, but was unsure if Reed's was the college he preffered to attend afterwards, hence making his room a jumbled mess of half packed boxes. Looking up from the carefully held token, it took him a moment to remember that the sylph was a senior as well, prompting a curious question. "Where do you plan on going after the ceremony?" He wouldn't stop her from going where she pleased, but with thier declared relationship, he would want to carve time out of whatever schedule he gained for outings and dates with his new girlfriend.

User Image This Is For Real,

Exchanging the bird for the necklace, she runs a finger over the feather carefully before undoing the clasp to wrap it around her neck; it took her a moment, but she managed to get the hook in the proper place, allowing the accessory to hang freely from her neck. It was surprisingly well made, and the princess had little worry of the pendant falling from it's rightful place; she doubted she would leave it alone long enough for it to fall without her noticing. She was glad he had taken the object without a fight, despite it's obviously high value; it was worth far more than one could sell it for, but she didn't announce this needlessly. The trinket had run it's course, and was now being introduced once again to it's rightful purpose.

As the conversation drifted to graduation, the Sylph frowned faintly. What were her plans? Icarus seemed content to stay and receive a degree from the school, but Rina was unsure if this was right for her. The urge to travel had yet to hit her, as it would surely do so again in the future, but she couldn't say for sure that she knew what she was doing. "I think I'll probably stay at Reed's. I'm not quite ready to play nice with my father yet." returning to her duties as a diplomat would surely be taken as such, and she was far from forgiving him. "I think I'll try and take up more instruments. Maybe flash a degree in Music Education just to spite him." she flashed a grin, remembering this to be the college degree her mother had sought and eventually received. Their new relationship might have limited some, but the Sylph was more than capable of reaching her new boyfriend in a day or so. "What about you? Will you be staying or going somewhere else?" she wanted to know mostly because if it was far enough away, she might have to have her plane, a small green and white Cessna, brought to the school. If it was too far, using her wings would be taxing and slower.

Clairissa finished studying and got up to stretch, she had ate over half of her food and frowned. so she walked into her room that ajoined to the terrace, put the rest of the chips and smarties on a shelf in the closet then walked out of her room, down the hall and into the living room, saying "i'm going back to the stor, want anything?" to her room mate.

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Music sounded like something the sylph would be dedicated to, and he was sure that she would enjoy earning a degree in the subject in Reed's. However, the idea of staying at the school he'd just spent several years in seemed dull to Andrew, but he was sure that homesickness would prevent any ideas of choosing a school farther than a day's road trip. Having seriously looked into what paths he might pursue, the necromancer was hopeful that his initial choice of teaching would hold up over the years. "Initially, I think I'll attend another college, but I wouldn't rule out the option of returning." He could always transfer, or if teaching was in fact his perfect match, he could come to the school to teach. Before he could continue speaking about the subject, Clair returned, still surprising polite to her roommate. he would stay quiet, feeling no need to spark any argument or hostility when his day was running perfectly so far.

Clair saw andrew and turned to him asking "want anything from the stor?", while waiting for her room mate to answer.

User Image This Is For Real,

Looking to her roommate as the girl entered the room, the princess does her best to smile at her. "No thanks. I think I'm pretty much set." she responds, taking a moment to think about it. She didn't eat much, especially not from their small kitchen, and nothing she wanted came to mind when she thought about it. Turning back to Andrew, her expression faltered only slightly when he confirmed he would be leaving. She had had a strong feeling that this would be his answer, but she had still hoped against it. Long distance relationships seemed to be tricky, but the Sylph had hope that it would work out. "Do you still want to be a teacher?" she asked, shifting a bit on the opposite end of the couch. She was still turned to face him, her good leg bent near her body while the other rested carefully on the floor. The princess looked to her roommate in surprise when she addressed Andrew, a look of shock crossing her features when the other girl asked if he wanted anything; did this mean that she wasn't so bitter anymore? That would be such a nice step forward, and would certainly take some of the stress off the young Sylph.

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Having stayed quiet during the roomate's exchange, Andrew was half way through a nod in response to Rina's question when Clair addressed him. His own expression shifted to surprise, which he quickly changed to a simple smile as he answered. "No, I'm fine. But thanks for offering." Even if this was temporary, he was excited to know that maybe a step was taken away from the awkward situations, and instead directed toward a less bitter relationship with the fairy.

User Image This Is For Real,

Shifting her attention back to Andrew as her roommate's questions were answered, the Sylph frowned faintly. "When will you be leaving?" she asked, doing her best to keep her tone fairly neutral. She pulled her good leg to her chest, resting her chin on her knee and keeping it in place with her arms; her injured leg remained where it was, dangling off the edge of the couch. While he hadn't answered her question, she was fairly certain she knew the answer; he had seemed quite passionate about it when the subject had been brought up before.

Ivan looked at the numbers remembering the number to the dorm he was given. He wasn't as smart as Fransica but he was good at remembering things like numbers. He finally made it to the right door and started to tap his fist against it hoping that he would get an answer to it. He wanted to make sure that the girl he just met was okay. She seemed to be off in a hurry.

Clair heard the knock and got out of bed. she then walked out of her room, towards the living room and got the door "hello" she said oppening it, only to find that it was Ivan. "um so you remembered" was all she could say as she blushed a light blossom pink.

Ivan smiled. "I may not be the smartest apple in the bunch, but I'm pretty good with numbers." He joked and gave his smile out to the world. "Anyways please forgive my sister. She's a little protective of me because we've both have had hard lives so we stick together." The young man said. He really wanted his sister to make friends, but sometimes it was hard.
