Meili stepped out from behind the wall. "Intresting", she thought, watching the little drama playing out before her. This war would prove to be very entertaining. She then asked the creature right next to her,"What do you think? Should we sniff out something good?" She wanted to get another feast decent meal.For collecting info, she got money. Sure, there was often more than enough to get anything her heart desires, but these clothes helped dispel any suspicion of spying gathering information.

Timer climbed up to Meili's shoulder and whirred in agreement. He was hungry not just for food, but for something new to do. He leaped, landed on the ground, and ran off, then returned after a few seconds and chittered excitedly at Meili.

Meili chuckled at that. Timer was so .... animated at times."Well, then," She said,"We need to decide who to follow first.Who first, The soldier from COG or the Locust leader? Both would be intresting to our leaders." She might be more interested in the lovebirds, then the Locust Leader, but they wouldn't care about that much.It was good that the Tekilans weren't involved. More info to pawn off.

Timer sat, stared at Meili and tilted his head ever so slightly to one side. He then stood and trotted in the direction of the COG soldier's scent before stopping to look back at Meili, to see if she agreed with his decision. Even his long, prehensile tail resembled a question mark.

Meili nodded."Just what I was thinking."Stepping out of the shadows, she started to follow Timer.

Timer chittered again and took off. Eventually he began to travel through tree branches, using his long tail for balance. He stopped a few times, to wait for Meili and to make sure he was on the right trail, but otherwise did not slow down until he knew he was near. He could hear someone's voice, and as he came close to the lake he chose a tree to observe from, invisible against its bark. Only his tail moved behind the tree so Meili could spot him, otherwise he was completely still. His ears were focused on the two furries below, and the song coming from the one who was awake. The pupils of his eyes seemed to change in size as he studied them.

When Meili finally caught up with the furry speedball, she saw the two lovebirds......Jake and Shasta if she heard right. Meili smiled. She was always something of the romantic. They we're SOOOOOOOOO cute! She could barely hear what Shasta was singing, but not enough to make out what she was saying. She felt a little bad intruding on such a private moment, but the feeling was fleeting.

Meili couldn't hear what they we're saying, but the feeling coming of the pair was sad. She then took a sudden intake of breath. What if there was a reason they couldn't be together!?!"Timer" Meili asked, the unmistakable sliver of anger becoming becoming bigger and bigger, till it was a blazing fire in her heart,"We will make this two be together." She then spun around and took a few steps away. She needed to calm down. This tragic love story was too much for her. She took a few breaths of air to calm herself, and returned to watching. She needed a good, solid chunk of info to sell to the Tekilan leaders.She just had to keep herself calm.
Calm.
They were doomed.

Timer could sense Meili becoming upset, and it made him uncomfortable. He had the idea that perhaps it was the sadness coming from the pair in front of them; he could recall it happening before. Quietly he climbed down the tree and onto Meili's shoulder, purring, trying to get her to calm down. By experience he knew that people and furries were often angry and/or afraid when they found him watching. These too were probably no exception. He also didn't want Meili to get into trouble. He hated it when she was hurt or upset.
