Zac's fingers drummed on the floor as he waited, as patiently as possible, for people to remove themselves. "Well... I believe I have a key for the door, that's a start..." He confirmed. "It's in my -pocket, It's of little use towards magical effect smoke...but I do have a mask and goggles, I am willing to open the door, if you get...OFF."

He was as polite as one might be expected to be if you'd just been dogpiled by 'pokemon.'

"But you're correct, the traps can't stay ridiculous forever, this is probably testing us... next one could be poison so..." He sighed and finally had enough room to move and get up.

"Whatever happens, we need to keep going, everyone clear on that?" He glanced around as he pulled the key out and approached the door, waiting till everyone was ready before he carefully put the key in the lock.

((For those who will be entering late, just assume you are with the rest of the group!))

The door opened easily and the group moved forward. As they moved on, they entered into what, for lack of a better term, could only be called Captain Scheelite's Mother ******** Funtime Candyland Happy Place.

It looked like some never ending expanse of mirrors and lights, and the brightly colored blonde Captain practically glowed, as though he was just meant to resonate with those black lights. It was a maze, that much was obvious.. but it wasn't just a maze. It was a mirror maze, and that was perhaps more frightening even than the way Scheelite's teeth lit up like a beacon when he smiled.

“Are you done playing games now, children?

Their attention would be drawn to the sole figure seated in the middle of their reflection, as though she should have been standing right in front of them but clearly was not. Her voice was out of place, as though it came from somewhere overhead rather than right in front of them. Her white hair was collected in a high bun on the back of her head, and from head to toe the young woman was a vision of beauty. She seemed utterly unworried, for what did Eternal Sailor Terebellum have to fear from the collected Negas? She was more powerful, more beautiful, and clearly more intelligent that all of them put together, or so the young woman thought.

It was no wonder that they referred to her as the Shade of Narcissus within the Blood Moon court.

Well... that, and the fact that she seemed to look upon them with ice blue eyes as though she simply knew they would soon be dead.

The door slammed behind them as though pushed from the room they had just been in, and a deadbolt slid into place.

“I hope so, because playtime is over,” she smiled all too sweetly, and vanished from the reflection.

Quote:
You have to make your way through the maze! RP your way through, but keep in mind, this is a large maze. If you split up, there is more danger of a senshi finding one of you. If you stick together, there is a good chance it will take hours to find your way through, which means you're going to be rescuing a corpse.

You may roll ONE d20 in each post per group that is going through the maze. This means that if you are all sticking together, each person can only roll one die. If you split into two groups, you may roll two d20's. Three groups, each player rolls three d20's. Etc, etc, etc. Or, you could go in one by one to maximize your chances!

ICly decide how you would like to move through the maze and pick your groups, and I will tell you how many dice you get to roll.

You must collect five 20's (AKA: rolling a 20 five times) as a group to escape the maze! Once one player finds the exit, they may call to the others to guide them out.

Note: You may try to break the mirrors, but you notice they do not crack no matter how hard you hit them. Weird.

"Alright...Ilmenite, and Zan you are with me... you there, Mica and *he waved his hand* to indicate the other...you follow Schee... the rest of you... Your following a chain of command in accordance to seniority." He waved his hand, beckoning people to follow their respective leaders.
"If someone finds the exit, you call out so we can find you, if you run into trouble work TOGETHER."
He started off with a backwards glance to make sure he was followed.

Ilmenite took one step forward and then hesitated, blinking, looking up to the wall of mirrors, and his eyebrows pinched in thought. Classical education treated him well: his first thought was Theseus and the minotaur and a ball of string, and his second was a never-ending roll of duct tape.

He pulled out his weapon as he followed Zink, tearing off pieces and sticking them to mirrors as they passed.

Scheelite didn't seem to mind who was with him, and for once he didn't seem to mind that Zink was splitting away from him. This...this was like a second home to him, and after a simple moment of unending GLEE the Captain turned that huge grin on those meant to follow him...

Before dashing off into the maze cackling like a damn lunatic.

"THIS PLACE IS -AWESOME-. Even better than the rainbow world!"

And no, it didn't bother him one damn bit there were enemies in here. Somewhere. This place was just TOO. COOL.

Zanazziite stepped through the doorway, her eyes wide behind her glasses. She'd never seen a room so bright. Or a lady so pretty. Her words were foreboding, and Zan's fingers came up to play with her pearls nervously. And then she remembered why they were there and she sucked it up, straightening her back and dropping her hand.

Hearing Zinkenite's orders she nodded and moved to his side. At least she was with the general. Looking back at the other groups she waved. "Good luck!" With those parting words she turned, following her group down the hallway.

As Mica came to her senses, she quickly got to her feet and brushed off her uniform. She didn’t say anything, put the press of her lips indicated that she was not amused. Following the others, she looked at the glowing room with an arched eyebrow; how exactly had the Senshi afforded this, and how had they built it without attracting attention?

And now her group leader had ran off into the maze like a gerbil on crack. Sighing, Mica darted after him.

"Damned mirrors" He cursed and glanced back again to make sure the others were still right behind him.
He paused and undid the chain at his waist and let it hang. "Here...each of you hold on to this... I don't want us confused and separated"

He cast a brief glance at Ilmenite, a pointed one. "And no... my pants won't fall off for it, keep walking."

Was he trying to make the tension less? Not the best joke but... there had at least been a minimal effort.

Ilmenite paused to look up at Zink, flashing a distracted smile at the comment and looping the chain around his wrist before plopping a piece of duct tape across their current mirror. "Wouldn't dream of it."

And for the moment, maybe it was true.

Zan looked away from the mirrors when Zink spoke, and she nodded. "Alright." She blushed again at the thought of his pants falling off, that would be awkward! Reaching out she wrapped her hand around the tail end of the chain, trailing after them.

Scheelite didn't seem to be communicating much with his team, outside of a few "come on guys, this way!", one of which immediately ended with an "OOF" as he ran face first into a ******** his nose, Scheelite went another way, hit another mirror, busted out laughing at it, then continued on. ...At least he was running into them so his poor team didn't have to.

At first Mica was a bit skeptical about Schee’s sugar-high antics, but after he ran into a couple of mirrors, she was happy to let him lead the way. As an extra precaution, Mica was now using her cane like a blind man’s cane, tapping the ground softly as she went along.

As you move through the maze, you begin to notice something strange about the way your reflection moves with you. Sometimes it might be just a little fast... other times just a little too slow. Sometimes you look out of the corner of your eye and you could swear it was looking off in another direction.

After a few moments, you catch it! You spin to face the reflection, and it's staring back at you. But it doesn't share your look of confusion. It looks angry. It looks malicious.

It looks like it's going to <******** kill you.

In a flash, the reflection leaps out at you and tackles you to the ground. Suddenly, all around you, there is two of every person in your group.

Quote:
Write a post in which you battle your doppelganger, and roll to determine the outcome!

Roll 1d4!

1 – You fail. You fail horribly. Holy s**t, you must be the worst doppelganger fighter in the history of doppelganger fighters! You are knocked flat on your a**, temporarily unconscious, and your group can not roll for one round of posts while they wait for you to wake up.
2 – You get pretty badly scuffed up, and you hear a bone snap in your ribcage, but you manage to defeat it.
3 – The two of you grapple for a while, and eventually, it runs off, back into the mirror in terror
4 - You whoop your doppelgangers a**. I mean. You wreck it. Your destroy it. You practically crush that b*****d. Your group may roll one extra dice next round.

Scheelite was content to bump around in the mirror maze for a bit, but eventually he noticed that his reflection seemed...different. If anything, it simply didn't seem as damn awesome as he did, which clearly explained the rather angry look it was giving him. He'd be mad too, if he looked like himself but wasn't as awesome as he was!

...Somehow that made sense.

Then his lookalike leapt from the mirror. Scheelite stared, the angry Scheelite stared back. Scheelite offered it a glowstick, and the other simply batted it aside.

...Oh no, this would not do.

Scheelite tackled his glowstick hating lookalike down, and the two wrestled on the floor a bit (running into mirrors all the while). The battle was fierce, involving lots of punching, kicking, and even a "OH NO YOU DIDN'T" coming from who knew which Scheelite.

In the end though, the faker faded from existence, and Scheelite stood swinging his band of glowsticks happily around a finger.

"Next?"
