[ Gamma X is attacking Eta XII ]
While Gamma X was pretty amazed that they'd managed to get that horse-thing down and he was even more amazed that it could actually talk. That whole little bit of information sounded like something he would make up about this adventure in order to keep things going and keep people interested in the whole affair. Thankfully he wouldn't have to do any of that now and instead he could focus on attacking again since it was obvious that the party wasn't over and the battle needed to continue on. With the Hell-Horse thing going though it meant confusion would soon follow and sure enough when Gamma X felt something contact with his side he knew problems were starting.
"Well, ouch." He'd need to learn to parry if he wanted to save his innards from a future attack and so he raised up his BB gun and shot in the direction that he assumed his initial hit came from. Naturally his aim wasn't as good in the fog as he would like it to be (he'd have to tell people the shot was amazing and intended) but when the gun actually fired and went on to hit someone he felt a surge of pride. Hopefully it hit the Hell-Horse or else he was going to feel a little bad. Just a little.

If you hit me, let me know or else I might miss it and react to someone else's attack like a dumdum 'cause the numbers are confusing me? D:;; I’msosorry.)) η XI was in the middle of trying to comfort γ V in his own, weird way when the horse began to egg them on. “It talks?!” he blurted out, completely confused with his hands over the sides of his helmet in an attempt to block out the horrible noise. Just as his gaze was aimed at it, everything went black. η XI turned around in search of γ V, but no one was there. “What the heck, man, where’d y’all go?” He was in the middle of rushing about blindly when something hit him. Was that a gun? “ Goddammit, quit ********’ with me!” he roared, immediately turning and trying to smack the first thing that came into view. His knuckles barely grazed it, but he wasn’t letting that stop him. What looked to him like some hideous beast was, unfortunately, the γ V he had been looking for. Completely oblivious to this, he grabbed the thing and brought it within a couple inches of his face, shaking it violently. “What the hell, man?! Don’t you dare hit me again!” Just then, γ I donated a rather hard hit to the back of his head. Oddly enough, it caused more damage than the horse. Whoever this was, η XI would have to buddy up with them. Of course, to him this was a monster- and that meant no friendship. He lost his grip on the creature he had had before and nearly fell down. “ I said to stop hittin’ me!” Weapon being used: Melee

The thick billowing smoke dissolved again just as η VII ran out of the squad's tent. She looked around in horror at the suddenly large number of figures surrounding her; far more than just her squad, more even than adding in the other squad she'd been told about. And none of them looked like her squad-mates, but surely they had to be here? So probably better not to attack anyone, at least until she could figure out what was going on.
She darted through the figures, trying to recognize any of them, looking for the blue that signified her "team". "η II, η III? If you're in η-squad, gather near the tent!" She didn't know if anyone would actually hear her in the commotion, but maybe that would help them figure out where each other were.
From behind, something came flying at her, and sheer luck kept it from doing more than grazing her arm. It would leave a bruise, but nothing worse than that. She spun, looking for her attacker, and was presented with several choices. Oddly enough, none of them were actually holding any weapon, and whatever hit her had certainly felt like something other than a fist. One of the figures close enough to attack turned to face her, and she swung at it; it dissolved into mist. She used the momentum to propel herself forward towards another figure, striking again, this time connecting with something solid.

((Gamma Three attacking Gamma Eight... sort of!)) Weapons were flying. Smoke monsters were being obliterated left and right, popping like balloons full of smoke and reappearing somewhere else. For her part, Gamma Three had taken to pistol-whipping those closest to her, shouting quotes from movies that she could neither name nor visualize. “YIPPIE KAIYAY, MOTHER ******** DO NOTHIN' FOR YA SON. THIS. IS. GAMMAAAAAAAA.”  Her foot met the chest of one of the monsters as the woman flailed wildly. It vanished, leaving Gamma Three to tumble forward and faceplant hard on the ground. Her weapon discharged, sending another rubber pellet into the air. The young woman – she thought she was young, at least, as her joints were not aching due to the fog - scrambled to her feet, and resumed swinging wildly at the smoke monsters. “PUFF THE MAGIC ********, LIVED BY THE SEEEEAAAA," she sang, trying to make herself feel better. It didn't work. Apparently someone had spent most of their life playing video games and watching movies. Clearly these games had not been first person shooters. Gamma Three watched as her pellet soared through the air, hitting nothing. "DAMNIT ANDERS." ((Weapon Used: BB Gun Damage to Gamma Eight: 0 - Attack missed! HP: 24))

((OCC: Question 1: If I a player has rolled and attacked someone from either group and is then waiting for a response from the victim... it the meantime has been attacked by someone else, can the player then attack their attacker, or do the have to wait for their own victim to reply before they make any other sort of action/turn?
Question 2: If they attack someone and they choose for what ever reason not to attack back, can we roll again and try and hit the horse or can we only continue to hit our first victim/roll?))

I'm assuming we fight back once we've been hit, even if we just bashed someone else up? Let me know if I'm wrong and I'll remove this. O: )) Definitetly pissed off and with a burning sensation in the back of his head, η XI adjusted his grip on his stake and swung hard at the thing that had hit him. He didn’t cause much damage. This made him angrier, and he spat out a few curses. If he was hit again, that thing was getting a kick where it was nobody’s business. “Dammit, just leave me alone!” The total confusion was getting to him, not that there was ever a point in time where he was completely calm and rational. Weapon being used: Stake

Gamma Four attacking Gamma Five
Picking herself up Four brushed herself off, readjusting her grip on her dagger. Okay, she needed to get back into this fight. Ignoring the pain radiating from her chest from where she had fallen on her dagger, her eyes swept the area for another monster. Catching sight of one them she ran forwards, careful not to trip over her feet this time and whipped her arm out, trying to slash the thing in half like she had done before.
Only this time the smoke monster didn’t just disappear. Was this one real? <******** my life.” Taking a step back, she held her dagger up ready to defend herself if the thing retaliated.

xxxxxGamma Five looked up at the blue fighter now talking to her. Teary eyed, she could only nod to his kindness, because if she opened her mouth she might start crying. She promised herself she wouldn't cry anymore. Not in front of all of these adults. The worst part was that she couldnt even wipe away her previous tears. The gas mask prevented her from touching her face at all. So they dried tears still lay there on her face, like a scar.
xxxxxBut suddenly the giant horse covered everything in fog and darkness. Gamma five let out an audible scream; she put all of her terrified feelings into one big shriek. It was no secret that she was terrified of the dark, and the horse even more. Suddenly figures were everywhere. Shadowy sort of figures, yet at the same time familiar. Five couldn't tell who was friendly who wasn't. Gamma from Eta. They were all a blur. Suddenly a punch came out of nowhere and grazed her leg. Not so much the actual attack, but more the shock caused her to fall onto her knees. While she was down, a dagger danced onto her arm, leaving a small gash.
xxxxxWide-eyed, and scared, Five pulled out her gun. She fired three shots into the dark, out of pure fright. Something inside Five was snapping. Right now it was a simple dent, like the one on her arm, but if further tortured, who knows what would happen. Unfortunately though, all of the shots simply fired into the dark, missing their target completely. Gamma Five slumped down. She was done, defeated for the moment.

Gamma Four attacking Gamma Five
Four’s eyes were trained on the smoke monster, waiting. It would attack her she just knew it, it was a monster right? Scary and mean were what monsters were. Only this one didn’t. This monster just fell to the ground. Was it dead? No, if it was dead it would disappear like the others right?
The fact that it wasn’t moving gave her pause but then she remembered. She was on an island with almost one hundred other people and only thirteen of them would live. She needed to take out all threats and protect herself. And so she lunge forwards striking out with her dagger again.

How delightful! How fantastic! It was pure chaos at this point. Friend, foe -- who cared? The creature was delighting in the chaos, dancing around as weapons sliced uselessly through smoke and usefully upon each other. However, like all good things they must come to an end. There was a sharp prinprick of pain on its back as Gamma Seven plunged his dagger into it. The smoke creatures stilled as what just happened registered in the creature's mind. The fighting continued around the pair, unheeded. Gamma Seven soon felt a weight around his neck, the dagger pressed back into its hand. There was a sound akin to pieces of metal shrapnel shells raining down on a metal rough. It was a high-tinny sound that rang inside the helmets rather painfully. "Congratulations! One of you now has the pendant. But which one? Hahaha! If you want it, you had better look amongst yourselves. But, ah! Who now has it? If I were one of you, I wouldn't let my... salvation get away, yes?"The creature's laughter boomed out again before it continued. "Oh! But don't let the fun stop there! If you can hit me again you just might get something good for your troubles..."THE OOC:Congrats to Enoh Love/Gamma VII for retrieving the pendant! Except... nobody knows Gamma VII has it.Everyone STILL looks like a monster. You can choose to generate a target between 1 and 30 to attack someone, however you may not leave the battlefield.Quote:
