Yes, Blade did have hobbies, but he didn't really care to share that publicly. Though, there were a few other things he enjoyed doing as well that wouldn't really matter. He couldn't help but quirk a brow at the things she had thrown out there.
"I might be able to do a trick or two, otherwise I'm just your average gamer type," he shrugged, keeping to fairly vague responses for the meantime.
"What of you? You haven't really said anything about yourself either for that matter."

Nyx smiled rather deviously. Apparently Blade had just opened the Pandora's box with that question. Whether half the stuff she said was true or not was up for debate, but she was going to talk.
"Let's see," Nyx started off thinking about where she should start. "Moving around a lot I got to experience different things. My dad's business takes him everywhere. I've been surfing, skiing, I've hiked in places better left unexplored, ran across a pack of hyenas once that way. They are not hospitable creatures when hungry." Which was partially true, though the hyenas had been humanoid and she and her father had been tasked with taking out their pack leader. They just happened to crash a dinner party....the hyenas were displeased.
"This is the first time I've really been in a school, I've been home schooled my whole life but we were going to be here for a while and my father is pretty busy." Partial truths were littered in that whole statement but who would be the wiser for it. They knew nothing about her so she could spew what she wanted really. It was a chance to pretend to be someone.
After a good solid ten minutes of talking Nyx finally passed the mic to someone else. "And that's why you never bring small children into a dingo encampment." She wrapped up before turning to Mitsu who had been very quiet during this whole adventure. The server had come to take their orders in between Nyx's story telling. "So what about you, Powderpuff? We never really talk about ourselves when we hang out. Tell me about yourself."
"Oh uh..." Mitsu looked at her glass of water intently, using the straw to move the ice around. "W...what do you want to know?"
"I don't know, anything. You can throw whatever you want out on the table. Maybe tell me about your family."
Mitsu immediately froze, never had that question bothered her as much as it did at this moment. Talking about her parents being gone was something that didn't bother her but now Ginji was gone...and Shun. "Excuse me for a moment." She said pushing away from the table and standing up. "Um...b..bathroom." Was the only explanation she gave before she walked off into the pub.
Blinking a bit Nyx turned back to Blade. "What did I say?" She seemed genuinely confused and possibly a little concerned.

Blade really wasn't expecting the onslaught of stories to be unleashed upon them both with that question. He had some doubts on how truthful some of these things were but they were at least entertaining. Then again, he supposed it could be possible for her to have gone through all those events. He, himself, didn't exactly lead a conventional life.
The amused look he wore soon turned to a frown as Mitsu was made upset when the torch was passed to her or so to speak.
Looking back at Nyx, he let out a small sigh.
"The only family she really had disappeared without a trace a few months back.. so I guess it's kinda a touchy subject for her," he explained. There was also the issue with Shun, which he felt might add to that distressed feeling, but he wasn't really aware that she thought of the guy as a brother as well.

"O..oh," Nyx seemed to slow down a bit, her eyes softening. "I had no idea." Though she hadn't been around during the fall. "It's tough losing someone. Especially someone you care about." Nyx's voice seemed very serious, like she spoke from experience. Even her eyes seemed to be looking out but not in the here and now. It was like she was gazing into a sad memory but she didn't bother to share.
Since it seemed Mitsu was going to take her time, Nyx looked over at Blade once again, her eyes focusing back in on the present. She seemed to have a curious look about her eyes a question forming on her lips. "So what's your policy on one night stands?" It was so random and out of the blue but she was curious. Curiosity was her downfall sometimes.

"No kidding..." Blade murmured lowly to himself. Judging the tone Nyx had, it didn't seem like she'd be poking Mitsu about that one again anytime soon. Hopefully this meant she wouldn't try to pull the same one on him. Despite the amount of time that had passed, he still didn't like to think or speak of what happened.
The question she did throw at him did catch him off guard, however. His dark red eyes widened briefly as that one practically came out of the blue.
"Ah..." he hesitated. That was an awfully personal question for someone he really just met and was now rather uncomfortable because of it, "I.. don't... really have one.."
That was pretty true. He just didn't do them. If he did, he obviously wouldn't still be a virgin.

"Oh?" Nyx's eyes lite up again, a slightly devious smile on her face showing off those pointed teeth. "You seem kind of shy. I like that." She teased. "So what kind of girls do you like?" Seemed she was going to keep up with the personal questions until Blade asked something of his own.

Tensing up, Blade glanced towards the bathroom, wondering if Mitsu would be returning soon. He hoped she would so she could possibly save him from this awkwardness. Shifting in his seat, he looked back towards Nyx.
"Er..." he mumbled while the thoughts went on through his mind. There was Riyo, though he wasn't quite crushing on her like towards beginning of the year. He still found her very attractive.
"Well..." he hesitated again before trying to dodge the question. It was too awkward for him to try and pick out what it was he liked in a girl, "H-have you eaten here before?"
It was a lame dodge, but he was having trouble thinking with his usual laid back composure cracked.

Nyx chuckled a bit, Blade was a bit shier than she thought. Seemed she was pushing a button because the boy was obviously grasping for a different route of conversation. But hey, she was game.
"No, I've never eaten the food. Their drinks are pretty good though. Reminds me of the pub I went to back in England, though that one wasn't quite as nice. I think they gambled in the back, it seemed like that kind of place." She went on for a few more minutes about the other places she had tried until Mitsu finally re-emerged, her eyes looking more worn and tired than before.
Taking a seat again she quietly took a sip of her water hoping her entrance was low key. She had done her best to clean her face and not look like she had been crying.
"Hey, Po-Mitsu." The use of an actual name was rare, so apparently she was taking this a little more serious. "I'm sorry if I said something to upset you. No hard feelings?"
"D..don't worry about it." Mitsu tried to smile. "I'm fine. So what did you talk about while I was gone?"
That was apparently the wrong thing to ask. "Well I asked Blade about his preference on one night stands and girls in general but he seems to be rather shy about it so he gave me a rather nice dodging question to work with for a little while. Got to talking about pubs and other restaurants and then you showed back up."
"Y...you asked him what?" Mitsu wasn't sure she had heard right..or she didn't understand.
"His preference on one night stands and the girls he liked." Nyx answered without hesitation.
"What's a one night stand?" So despite everything...there were still a few things Mitsu didn't know. Or at least knew the term for, otherwise she would have known what she and Shun had done was something of a one night stand.

Thankfully she took the bait. Relaxing again when she shifted topics, he listened until Mitsu reappeared. She looked rather tired, moreso now than earlier which had him wondering if she had been crying in the bathroom. Poor girl...
Shaking his head to himself, he leaned back in his chair before pausing as the whole one night stand thing came back. Well Nyx did a pretty good job of analyzing him. Grimacing a bit, he hoped she wouldn't prod at it further, but then the wolf girl had to ask what it meant to have one. Blade was mildly surprise, but then again, she was a pretty innocent girl..
"It's... b-basically when two people sleep with eachother and n-nothing more comes of it," he mumbled. Why did it have to be sex talk? "Usually the two don't see each other again when the night is over.."

"O..oh..." Mitsu blushed a bit when the explanation finally sank in. "You asked him that?" Her voice gave the impression she wasn't very approving of it.
"Yeah, I was curious." Nyx said honestly. "If he didn't want to answer he could have said so or done what he did and gave me a different topic to work with. I just ask what comes to mind and what comes to mind is random. Besides, he's rather cute when he doesn't know what to say." It was a little bit teasing again as she looked at Blade with a grin.
"You both don't say much so you really leave the conversation in my hands and as you've just learned that can be dangerous." And really it was. It was like playing a truth or dare game....without any of the dares. "So what should we talk about next?" Nyx grinned a bit trying to see what her companions would come up with.

There was something like a grimace on Blade's face as Nyx elaborated some more. It was indeed a dangerous thing to let the conversation fall in her hands it seemed. With the awkwardness dying down, he was able to think more clearly once more.
"Is it kinda rough to be hopping all over the place?" he asked her.
To be honest, wandering appealed to him. Just being at this school for the past three years had him feeling restless. The lack of a real home did not help with that sensation at all. A part of him wanted to see the world and just go wherever his feet took him.

Nyx gave Blade's new question some thought. "No, I wouldn't say so, but its the only thing I've ever known. We've moved around for as long as I can remember. The longest we ever stayed in one place was a three months." And that had been the longest stake out of her life.
"I like it though, you get to see and experience new things, meet new people. You don't really have a chance to make friends though and if you try to get to known people its always in a hurry. I usually don't bother but it seemed like we were going to be here for a while for a change."
"That...seems kind of lonely." Mitsu commented. She couldn't imagine now what it would be like not having friends. Even when she didn't have friends she at least had her brother and now she had other forms of support. "What does your dad do that takes him all over the place?"
"International Marketing." Though what they marketed was their ability to silence or snuff out a problem. "He works with a lot of different people that aren't very trusting so it requires him to go to them a lot of the time. Since he works with hundreds of clients its a lot of shuffling about."
Looking to Blade again Nyx had that curious look in her eyes, though this time the question wasn't as evasive as the last. "So what do you want to do when you get out of school Blade. Mitsu told me before she wanted to be a nurse."

"Maybe, but it doesn't sound that bad," Blade said along with Mitsu. He hardly had any friends in the first place and had trouble doing so. Moving around from place to place meant he didn't have to see the same faces that didn't want him around everyday.
When Nyx looked towards him again, he had his guard up, but the question she presented wasn't that bad considering the previous one. He was still quiet for a little bit as he contemplated that answer.
"I'm not really sure. I'll probably do some travelling and see what happens from there," he replied. Thinking about the future was not something he did all that often. He tended to live more in the present... and sometimes in the past depending on what was going on at the time. The thief tried not to do the latter, but it was a little hard.
"Yourself?"

Nyx smiled a little, though the look in her eyes was a little empty. "If I make it that long I'll be getting into my father's business. It's what I've been groomed for, though he would have preferred to pass his legacy as he calls it down to a son. Guess he thinks I'll just ruin it because I have boobs."
Nyx shrugged though as she finished off her mug and set it aside. "What can you do, right? But if you're thinking about traveling maybe you should look into my Dad's business. Though if you take my place I may have to kill you. Just fair warning." It sounded like a joke....but it really wasn't. The offer for him to join and the fact that she would kill him if he nudged in on her territory.
Mitsu seemed to be looking at Nyx rather curiously now. Since she was asking personal questions Mitsu wondered if she could get away with one as well. "H...hey Nyx?"
"Yeah, what is it?" Nyx turned her attention to Mitsu.
"Can I ask you...a more personal question?"
"Shot, its not like I don't do the same." And Nyx would either lie about it or tell the truth. She was good at thinking up stuff on the fly.
"The scars you have...How did you get them?" Nyx seemed to have a lot of them and they were in places she really couldn't hide like her face. She always wore long sleeves but Mitsu could see them on her hands and neck as well. It was almost like....Shun.
"Oh these?" Nyx seemed rather amused. Apparently she had a story just for the occasion. "I was a bit of a ruffian when I was little, got in a lot of fights." She drew up the sleeves on her arm just a little to show that her they were littered with scars as well. "It also doesn't help that I was pretty much a tom boy when it came to being outside. I've fallen from my fair share of things broken bones, cut myself open, had concussions. You name it. The ones here," She pointed to the one's on her face. "I got in a fight with a boy who was older than me. Much bigger too. I think he was a panther hybrid or something like that. Grabbed for my face when I was trying to pull away."
She continued to explain where a few of the scars had come from but it was all a lie, though they wouldn't know. Most of her scars had come from her father during their training exercises. It was his way of teaching her how to deal with pain and block it out of the mind. A few others she had gotten from missions, though not many.

Raising a brow at the offer, Blade considered it for awhile but shook his head slowly.
"Nah it's fine. No offense but marketing doesn't really sound all that great. Sorry to hear about how your father feels about you taking up the reins, though," he said. It couldn't have been easy to have that sort of weight on her shoulders.
At the whole deal with the scars, he tilted his head. Now that he looked at them, there was somewhat of a resemblance to Shun there. That guy had scars all over the place. He didn't question the credibility of the stories she gave of them. They seemed plausible enough.
"Dang," he commented.
