Calder excited the tent, looking at his new book. It was by a romance author he only heard about vaguely but never saw any books to be able to give it a chance and read. Flipping to the first page, he walked out and looked at Barth before closing his book. Maybe if he got some time to sit down, he could breeze through it. "I'll show you. By now he SHOULD be done with all of that." To which he meant Chistof's little hug fest with his mistress. Noticing that Barth did have his own knapsack, it meant they didn't have to be here.
"OH yeah. Well, our ship crashed. Didn't get sent to the school even when I hit the water, but...." He shivered. "....it wasn't fun." The pin was horrible, abusing him this way. Just when he made a few steps with Barth, he stopped. "Looks like we don't have to walk. They're coming this way." He looked ahead to where the pair were walking up the hill to the tent.

Supplies? Where they going to be stranded here? He wobbled to his feet, looking around for Calder only to notice the Kelpie's absense. Where had he gone off to? Supplies as well? Not attacked already he hoped- fists clenching he glanced around frantically before spotting him speaking to Barth and physically relaxed. Ah. As the last of the purple finally lifted from his battered brain, replaced by a dull ache, he rubbed his temple, pulling away from Riley shyly as though worried what people might think to see his Elegant Mistress holding her servant.
Especially only half dressed. It seemed every one else had succumbed to the sea's heat as well, he wasn't in bad form in just his trousers, but even so he felt naked and the fog was cooler than the deck had been, especially soaked to the bone. The fire looked both welcoming and threatening all the same. He nodded, his mental words softer and calmer now, I am sorry Mistress... it has.. been a very long trip. Longer than it had seemed. The week's journey (As the date on his salt-water addled Eye-phone told him before it finally kicked the bucket with a sad flicker and a small spark) had seemed like one very long, very worrisome and dream-like day. He did remember sleeping at least once. Would you like me to fetch you supplies? Anything, Mistress... His gaze wandered from her back to Barth and Calder for a moment, but his hand shyly went up to the red mark across his chest and he kept his eyes firmly on the Ilithid.

Shooting the avarice demon a narrow-eyed glare, Aedan resisted the urge to stick his tongue out at Garrett...barely. He looked almost disgustingly chipper. Probably wasn't even seasick, hmph. "I hope you find a room full of shiney things...that you can't have." he muttered, managing a toothy grin. Looking around, he was surprised at just how many students seemed to have been washed ashore...so to speak.
"Did all the boats crash?" he asked after a moment. If so, he doubted it was a coincidence. This can't be good.

The djinn hadn't actually expected to be found so very soon, having had no clue whatsoever that the other ships had run into any trouble. Not until Sharra's worried call reached her ears and had her head jerking up from it's miserably bowed position. "Sharra!" Oh jack was she happy to see him. Dark hands reached out eagerly for the nergal as he ran to meet her, catching onto any part of him she could reach as he sank to his knees in the wet sand beside her. Clinging almost desperately as she buried her face against the side of his neck. Breathing in that familiar, comforting scent she'd come to adore above all others.
The shirt she'd borrowed from him had been lost. In fact she'd hardly managed to grab her phone before they'd been thrown overboard. For some reason that lose seemed important. It was only a shirt, he had loads more back at school, but that she'd lost seemed to hit with far more guilt then was warranted. "I love your shirt.. I'm sorry." There was the slightest hitch in her voice, but it smoothed again as his attention moved to her ankle, a concerned look crossing those handsome features.
"I don't know. I mean I'm alright beyond my ankle, but I'm not sure how bad it's hurt. I can't put weight on it though, or touch it." It had swollen considerably, but it remained unclear what exactly was wrong with it.
Sinking into the warmth of the boil's chest the marid began to shiver, body shuddering as shock started in. Not a serious case, but she had been through a lot. First drugged euphoria and chaos, then injured and shipwrecked. She didn't know where they were, how they were going to get back, and it was starting to get cold. Despite having packed for cooler weather, she couldn't very well change with her luggage being lost. "Can we go by the fire?"
The approach of the lightning dragon had the ghoul glancing up, but she didn't move beyond that. Instead remaining tightly pressed to her nergal's chest. "Relatively alright, I suppose. You?"

"Well well well, I love the smell of easy game in the morning." Wait - when did this figure even arrive at the tent? More startling was how a black figure could hide so effortlessly in pure white fog.
They easily knocked one of the tables over with their weapon, watching the makeshift "weapons" topple to the ground. "I'll give you a hint kids, those toys alone won't even touch us, you better put some backbone into it. If you can. Now let's play this wa-"
Their jacket was vibrating. Slowly, the figure pulled out a - was that a Skellyphone out of all things? - and pressed a button, putting one hand up against the stunned crowd in an exaggerated "Please wait" gesture. "Yes, I'm working. What. You TOLD me to- are you kidding me? Fine!"
Silence and then a loud click as they hung up the contraption. The figure bowed. "Apparently boss says you guys still need some time to recover so I'll wait. I'll give you guys a hint: staying all in the same place makes you guys a really really, easy target."
Some of the more sharp-witted students might have feasibly recovered by now and began lunging forward, but even then it was too late. The figure simple retreated backwards into the fog. ((OOC: Bags will be handed out shortly, in the next couple of hours, but please take the time for students to branch out in PRPS. You can still come "back" to the orp after your prp is finished or concluding to rp as you wish, but it is recommended to "spread out" after supplies have been given so students are not such an easy target. Students are free to investigate the surroundings around them, or talk about potential moves. They can even talk about the clues they discovered as well as clue sharing. Please keep in mind during all rps GM INTERVENTION CAN AND WILL HAPPEN. Have fun and good luck! Please note: Students Fears and natural abilities are on LOCKDOWN. That INCLUDES THEIR items brought with them, such as their SCHOOL Skellyphones.))

Oh. Oh. Oh for the love of Jack he'd just stuck his foot in his mouth, and suddenly, Elaphe regretted ever looking her way at all. She reminded him way too much of poor Donner back home, eyes filled to the brim with uncertainty and just looking for an opportunity to open the floodgates. Comforting the Reigndeer at home was one thing behind closed doors, but a weird blond girl? HERE?
"... Uh." He took a second to pause and frown, maybe considering some discrete reassurance-- ... until a name fell out of her mouth that left him frowning like he's just frenched a lemon. Seiji? SEIJI?! That was the jerk who'd smashed his face against a wall with his thrown pillow! Who on earth would ever willingly hang out with someone like that?!
(Granted, his own experience was very limited, heavily biased, and full of humiliation not really the ghost's fault, but still...)
"Look..." He was already getting a headache, trying to massage it away with his third hand on one temple. "That guy... was on my boat, I think. I'm sure he'll be around soon... or something."
He could just feel his pride starting to cripple already. It was so worse than any broken bones. At least no one else but the turtle could hear him doing this, right? And surely, it wouldn't tell!

[Of course, my love. *w* Also, profile link!]
Nurse Cricket is awesome. Like really, really awesome... Tamed-a-giant-squid-awesome.
Lizzy was just glad she didn't have to get wet; she even managed to grab her luggage (although the things she had left outside the luggage had gone down with the boat)! The lack of adult supervision on the island they had arrived on was starting to worry her, however... Even Nurse Cricket had vanished! After checking that Charlie was fine and not drowning from the boat crash, she looked around the beach... Just to spot a very familiar ghoul on the sand.
"TESS. AHHH, TESS GET UP." She started to flail a little, but quickly stopped; regardless of what the undead ghoul did or said, she would be propped up and moved to the tent with Lizzy supporting her the whole way; of course, seeing a friend this worn out and wet was starting to worry her. Specifically, where was Amrita's boat? Jericho and Belladonna were on that boat too... First things first; find a place for Tess to rest and...
"Petro? Is that you?" She would wave, but with one arm around her friend's shoulder and one hand carrying her luggage, it was difficult. She settled for raising her voice instead, trying to catch his attention; she was pretty sure she saw Riley around as well... Maybe she'll know if Jericho's boat is safe! As for the hooded figure - UGH. This just gets better and better.
Oh wait! It does get better!
"Mac! Mac you're safe!" She was so relieved she totally forgot to use her nickname for him.

As the table was toppled, Christof quickly grabbed a Rusty Pipe and a backpack, fumbling to grip it tightly at the sight of the cloaked figure. What... what in Halloween was that? A Reaper? What exactly was this Island? He checked his pocket, the "Sea Fear" card he had gotten during their last hazardous trip was still there even though he had lost most of the rest of his belongings.* Mistress? What do we do? He was anxious to check on Calder and Barth as well- Calder he had confidence in keeping his own, but Barth... if there was danger, the Sloth Demon would surely be the first to go. (( My account again now that I officially grabbed some stuff X) )) ((*ALSO I can site when Christof received something called this during Christmas and it seemed relivant to the trip and he brought it along! If that's been lost with all other items I'll nix this but IDK! Will seek clarification XD ))

She loved his reaction, how he instantly seemed to perk up and LW tightened her hold. "Yes, dear demon. You're puppy is here now." That was all she managed to get out before Gabrian lifted her and twirled them around. The she-wolf laughed and felt that warm feeling when he nuzzled against her. She had dearly missed this! Very much. His question made her cheeks light up in some sort of combination of embarrassment and guilt. Of course trouble would have followed her. The trick was not revealing how MUCH trouble. Not that it had been that bad...alright maybe a little on the bad side. But she was still in one piece!
Before she was able to answer, she was quite happily pressed against his back while he proceeded to give her a piggyback ride. She lightly wrapped her arms around his neck. "I didn't get in that much trouble." LW whined cutely. "I didn't fall overboard...well except for when we crashed." Her tail lazily swung behind her, a clear sign she was content to stay right where she was. "And the tables weren't too ba-" LW was cut off by the sudden appearance of an arm that was not her and not Gabe's. The she-wolf jumped ever so slightly for one minute thinking it was Sarias come after them, but she recognized that purple skin. Riley! And yes, she did blush at the close contact, but not for the same reason as before. That seemed to have been brief and out of character for the she-wolf. No this blushing was because she remembered those same purple arms around her too. Food. Maybe she needed food. To make herself sane again. Or just needed to confine herself to her friends only for a little bit.
"And we learned not to text while dodging tables~" LW teased the demoness with a wink, tail swishing around in amusement behind her. She gave a small wave as the demoness walked away and leaned back against her boilfriend, chin resting on his shoulder.
"What was I saying again? Oh right! Tables. We had a lesson in table flipping. And how to dodge them. And I maybe kinda sorta had some tables thrown in my general direction by a certain individual. Oh and I discovered the joy in tossing a table back." That was the worst, right? Well, it was all her mind could think of right now so it would have to do until she was thinking much more clearly. "Sorry I never replied back to yours and Ren's text. Was in the middle of table dodging when I got that."
And then...the adorable pup. "JOVE!" LW said happily, tail wagging behind her. That quick exclamation of excitement quickly faded as the puppy growled at them. Had they scared him? LW didn't want to scare him! Although, if she was reading it right, that wasn't quite fear she was picking up. Was he...protecting her? Oh Jack the small one was so cuuuute! "It's alright, small one! I'm fine. This is Gabe." Had he met Gabe before? LW didn't know. But when the pup zoomed off, she had to grin. Ren and Jove were too cute together.
With a small giggle, she kissed Gabe's cheek and waved to Alessa who was back by the tent. "Looks like we're all here now." She said in a sigh, glad to have them all together again.

First he'd been on a boat. Then stuff had happened. Then a squid attacked them. Then they crashed. He foundered, feathers soaked, only lessons from childhood and swimming keeping him from sinking like a siren brick. And that would have been terrible. He would have lost the spare blue rose he had for such fashion emergencies. Still getting onto the Island Israfel sputtered, cawing and make other sad pathetic sounds. "Sanddddd-" He hissed, getting further up the shore. ."God I hate this. There is sand in my pants now...." As he trudged on the tent greeted him and he sighed. This was just like christmas. They were all going to die. Mass student sacrifice. He recalled another student mention a ninja. Blue eyes lingered on the battered sword hilt. Sure it was..lacking but it had to be better then nothing. Taking a brown sack he made his way out and to the other students. Until he saw some hooded...person. He gaped. And just- "WHAT IS THIS- I DON'T EVEN-" Arms flew up in frustration. "So, at this point it's safe to say the school has sent us to our deaths." (profile: Vamps )

Land! Dear sweet jack he'd made it to land! That had been, without question, the most taxing ordeal the jikininki had ever been put through. Lost at sea for who even knew how long, only to wash up on some strange island. If not for the other students milling about he'd have been truly worried. In fact, he was still worried, he'd lost Jove, and now that he saw all the students milling about, had to assume the other boats had all met with trouble of their own. Where was Junko, and Momo?
Trudging through the water towards the beach, the ghost shook himself almost dog like once he'd made it beyond the surf. Damp hair fluffing minorly then was forcefully pushed back back from his face with his clawed hand. A shiver chasing up the length of his bare spine as the coolness of the dim air met gray skin. If he'd had a shirt at one point before all hell broke loose it was gone now, and though he couldn't technically freeze, he could feel the cold and it was, if nothing else, very annoying.
Although he noticed the fire and the tent, the ghosts first priority was finding his friends, and he wasted little time in getting down to that task. Holding a half cupped hand to his lips, he sucked in a lung full of air, voice raising considerably from his usual soft baratone so the names would carry over the crowd. Hopefully reaching the ears of his intended targets. "Junko!" Obviously his biggest concern. "Jove! Momo! Where are you guys!" If they were hurt, so help him.. "Bul!"
So many people to find, so little time. Well, not really, but it certainly felt that way. He was anxious and worried, and he knew without a shadow of a doubt that he wouldn't feel better until he found everyone.
Then, out the corner of his eye he spotted a familiar face, or rather two. A certain petite kitsune and that one kid he'd nailed in the back of the head with a pillow. What was his name again? Elpha? Elaph.. Something like that. "Hey Momo! You alright!?" He jogged over to them, concern clearly etched along masculine features as he looked the small ghoul over. Then he glanced sideways to his shipmate, giving him a quick once over as well. "You ok, too?"

Just as Yaya replied to him, pulling Aksaja's attention away from Jove and the others, some weird cloaked figure with a scythe showed up. Ooooh Jack. This wasn't good. Still, Sharra was holding onto Yaya, and the ghoul was obviously hurt, so Aksaja braced himself for some kind of attack . . . only to have the figure answer a skellyphone of all things, then disappear.
"What. The hell," the lightning dragon muttered. Oh . . . just, whatever. "We should probably like. Spread out a little," he suggested then, reaching out to take Sharra's wrist and attempt to draw the two of them away a little bit. "Before that thing comes back." Or something worse.
(( Heading to PRP over to the side! Just in case anyone talks to Aksaja here XD ))

As Riley waited for Christof to get his supplies, she continued looking for the face to match the voice that had called her name. There were a few students she didn't even know, but the fog was so thick.. she couldn't see too far in. It frustrated her. She needed to know..
Her eyes narrowed as she strained to get a better view of the mysterious figure, when Christof asked her what to do. It was Christofs question, coupled with the statement that staying in one place made them easy prey, that put her back into a much more comfortable position. She looked down at the patchwork. We explore, of course. I have my supplies.
She turned to the group in general - she couldn't see everyone, which made it almost impossible to touch the minds of all around, but she tried. If you've all got your supplies, we should split up and get a good look around. I'm going.. She pointed up towards one particular mountain. This way.
She did not assume to tell anyone whether they should follow or go their own way, but she would not turn anyone away if they chose to come with her. After all, it was clear she knew what she was doing.
Right?
Right.

Aedan tensed at the sight of the hooded black figure, wishing, for once, that his fear was useable. When the figure disappeared without attacking, however, he didn't stand around looking dumbfounded for long, instead making his way swiftly to the supplies tent, throwing a quick comment over his shoulder to Garrett. "I don't know about you, but I'm grabbing what I can for when...whoever that was makes his way back." In the supply tent, he looked at the two tables, cocking his head to the side for a second before picking up a brown knapsack from a pile of identical ones, along with a heavy worn old book from the second table...to use as a weapon. If nothing else, I can always resort to reading it if I get really bored. he thought with self-directed amusement. The worn mace was tempting, but he figured that the book might be less obviously a weapon at a glance, which had the potential for surprise...assuming he had the opportunity to even use it. He was quickly beginning to wish he'd found an excuse to not come along on this...field trip, or whatever the hell it really was. He doubted (hoped) that they hadn't been left here to potentially die...but given the faculty...who knew? ((annnd, profile: Vashtya))

Gabrian was trying to figure out if Jove's reaction was within the realm of the adorable, or simply just cute. When the poor pup backed up away from him and held up his book in defense, the demon decided to op for the former over the later, "Skittish, isn't he?" this was murmured at LW, whom was currently resting her chin on his shoulder, "I get the impression he doesn't like me all that much. What do you think, Puppy? Am I intimidating?" his tail reached up, still wrapped around the hilt of the wooden sword, "I have a sword and I'm not afraid to use it," in fact, the nix gave his sword a couple of playful swishes before turning back to watch Jove.
Thankfully, he was relieved to note that Ren had come forward and the smaller pup had rushed over towards him; that was one less problem to take care of! Content with that notion, the demon turned, ready to return to Alessa's side, however, he was momentarily distracted by the fact Riley had walked up to him again. This time, however, unlike the first, she wrapped her arms around him (and LW, technically, by association), which caught the nix quite by surprise. Had this been any other day or time, he would have probably paused to question if the mindflayer was feeling alright. However, given the fact he was still pretty high and... not entirely himself, it never so much as occurred to him to think that. In fact, his only thought about that situation was that clearly poor, poor Riley needed a hug and a little bit of comfort too.
Clearly.
Blinking in slight confussion, Gabrian raised his tail and allowed himself to pat the demoness' back (or rather, the leg, given the fact his tail simply couldn't reach that high) in a clear 'There, there' sort of way, "She'll be right as rain," he nodded as he lowered his tail back down into a mild swish. He was caught off guard again when she lifted her hand and ran it through his hair (which was, admittedly... one of his guilty pleasures; he was rather surprised none of his friends had tried that yet), "Errr... I'll try not to," he nodded again as Riley stepped away, though he looked marginally less confident than he had moments ago.
It was only when the mindflayer walked away that his head turned to address Ren, "It's not the water, actually, it's.... it's complicated. It will pass in a bit," he was well aware the gryphon had not been expecting a reply, but in his current state of mind... well, yeah. It was making it a bit hard to concentrate on one thing for too long, which was one of the reasons he paused as LW spoke, "Wait, wait, what was that about flipping tables and having tables flipped on you?" he turned his head to give her a look, but it was promptly dropped when the black hooded figure arrived on scene. He moved to stand by Alessa and his gaze lowered down to his sword, which felt pathetic and feeble and quite useless. Thankfully though, they were apparently not expected to engage battle, given the fact the cloaked figure vanished almost as soon as he'd appeared.
After a beat or two, Gabrian spoke up, "So," he drawled, his voice sounding just slightly more normal as he talked, "I suggest we er... take the good man's advice and get a move on, don't you, Ren? We're sitting ducks here, and if Christmas taught me anything, it's that it's never a good idea to be a siting duck," that said, he moved towards a random general direction, pausing for the others to catch up to LW and him.
