The words she had spoken almost caused him to chuckle but her covered his maw with his tail, a large smile crossed his muzzle in place of the laughter that wished to come foward. It wasn't long till Dakarai had made a few ghost noises. Oooo and groans he backed to the end of the piano so if she would glance under the piano he wouldn't be spotted as easily. Ghosts.. Ha. She belives in those things! Giving a shake of his head he quieted down waiting to see what her responce would be.

Her whole body tensed up, Aura glanced around as the sounds of a ghost echoed in the air.
"Man, the day I decided to be along, a ghost follows me!" She groaned, and hopped up onto her paws, trying to look tough but when she heard one particular 'ghost noise', a shiver went up her spine and she leapt off of the piano stool, howling and yelping that the ghost should leave her alone. She slid across the room and managed to squeeze behind a drape that hung from the window and touched the floor. Her tail, however, stuck out and was wagging excitedly despite her sudden fear.

Letting out a laugh at the responce he had gotten from his little act. Though as she did hop off the stool and start yelling about Dakarai bounded out of the view only to see her sprint behind a curtian. Curiosity got the better of him and though he knew he could get her with the noises again the blue moonlit pounced closer to her his paws kitting the ground almost silently. Comming up next to her he sniffed the drape and glanced towards her tail. TO him it seemed as if she was actually enjoying this, so he walked to the side biting down on one of the longer sides he began to move it about, flicking his head up and side to side before backing up to hide behind something. "Ooooo" He howled out once more before peeking out from behind the small planks of wood set up on the floor.

"Leave me alone ghosts!" Aura cried, bolting out from behind the curtain and spinning in the middle of the room. She bent low towards the ground but her bum remained in the air with her tail sticking straight up, wagging back and forth. She attempted to growl, which she didn't do often and came out as a puppy's yelp more than anything. Coughing to cover it, she looked around the room and frowned. "Come on out Ghosts! I-I-I'm not afraid!"

Her antics amuzed him greatly so he laughed and moved out from his hiding place and pranced around in a quick circle. "Boo." He growled before sitting down on the ground, his tail swaying ont he ground behind him as his ears perked foward. he hoped she wouldn't hate him or something so Dakarai pressed his head down agenst the back of his head and spoke out. "I'm sorry if I scared you to bad." bringing his maw closer to the ground he kept himself still as his eyes gazed ahead at her.

Aura let out a yelp and jumped as the male moonlit slipped from his hiding place. So she had been tricked. She suddenly felt embarassed and shy all at once for allowing herself to actually think she was being followed by ghost. Sitting down on the ground as well, Aura wrapped her tail around her paws and shook her head.
"Nah, you didn't scare me at all." She said, laughing easily as she brushed off her fear. "Don't worry about it."

His head had returned to it's upright position as he chuckled with a shake of his head. "Well if you say so. I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to have some fun." His smile stayed presant as he tapped his paw on the ground ahead of him. "Well, I'm Dakarai. Can I have your name?" He had met a few females before and some of them had been a bit stuck-up when he introdused himself so he rather ask first instead of expecting them to introduce themselves.

"Trust me, I'm used to it. I have 3 brothers. When you're the only girl, you kind of get used to being poked fun at or scared." She smiled at Dakarai and then looked at his paw, smiling even more. Was he nervous? She couldn't quite understand why. Catching his eye with her own golden-green gaze, Aura held out her paw for Dakarai to shake. "You certainly can have my name. My name's Aura and it's nice to meet you Dakarai."
She bowed her head slightly out of respect and then looked at him once more.

Glad to have gotten her name she was rather kind from what he was seeing so far. "Three brothers? It's a suprise your able to put up with boys." Noting her bow he smiled softly bringing his head down to the ground also returning the gesture. "It is nice to meet you to Aura." When her eyes had caught his he kept the gaze for a few seconds before he quickly glanced away. He wasn't the greatest around females and his tail curled around his side as nervousness over took him. His green eyes glanced up at her as he continued that smile.

Aura rose to her paws swiftly and stretched, yawning contently before settling down on the ground her favorite and comfortable position. She looked up at Dakarai and twitched her tail as if to shrug.
"You kind of get used to it after awhile. I hang around more guys than girls anyways. It's always been like that." Aura stated with a nod. "Though it can be annoying but family is family. Can't pick'em, can't choose'em. Do you have any siblings?"
She stared into his eyes without wavering as was just her personality to keep eye contact during a conversation. It made sensing others emotions easier.

Giving a shake of his head he ws quiet for a few seconds after her mention of him having any siblings. He couldn't remember much before he had been found in the forest so he could of guessed that sure once he had brothers and sisters, but now it couldn't really be found in his mind. "Nah. I probably had some once, but I don't really know of any." Though he was still kept in thought about his past the smile still stayed plastered on his maw and his eyes looked back at hers. "But it doesn't really matter right?" His tail gave a swift wag behind him as he glanced towards the piano deciding to try to change the subject. Pointing brefly at it with a paw he spoke. "What were you singing before?"

((*snugs Sesshy and curls up in her scarf* whee ))
Had some once? Aura thought that to herself as she stared a Dakarai and attempted to imagine not having a full family as she had. It was actually impossible, though and sounded extremely lonely. She wanted to ask him that but thought it rude having just met him. Wagging her tail, she nodded and giggle lightly.
"Well, of course it family matters to me but if you aren't bothered by it, than I guess its alright." She looked towards the piano and smirked happily, hopping to her paws. "So you heard me? I was singing this lullaby I used to like to listen to when I was little. It calms me down and it's really soothing if you hear the whole thing. It's called 'Somewhere over the rainbow.' "
