Hidden in the depths of the city horehouse, Mystic sits back, taking in the atmosphere as men fullfilled their sick fantasies on desperate women. He enjoyed whispering sweet nothings through the tounges of lowly men, watching the women force themselve to submit to his twisted actions. But not tonight. Tonight, he had another desire. There were hunters in his city, and he couldn't have that. His desire was to feed.

flineagle (( yeh cetanu, I enjoyed reading that. I'm sure we can help your char find some weaknesses tho wink )) ((Oh, he has them, I just like revealing them as the story roles along xP(same thing as the abilities, and other parts of his character profile{as the story progresses, the unknowns will become... well, known}). It's more... interesting that way - no capitalizing on flaws xP.))

-it took no less than one night to reach the infested portion of the city, and as he stood upon the ledge atop the structure, he closed his empty eyes and breathed deeply; although the air was thick with the blood of decaying demons, he could still detect the choking stench of the Hunters; their scent exuded an air of arrogant determination; they were strong believers in their God - it would be their undoing, he concluded, as he reopened his eyes and surveyed the city before him... and was rewarded by seeing several human shaped white auras-

((Jeez - gone for a couple of days and all this... Sorry I was gone so long.))
Detroit ducked behind a desk. Hearing no shot fired, he slowly peered his head out from behind it, taking a quick look at the man in the corner.
Hearing the man mutter something about running out of ammo, he decided to say something.
"Hello? Don't worry - I'm not going to hurt you - who's there? Are you Nathan?"

Nathan looked up as he heard the guy's voice
"Eh?"
He still could only see siloettes but as his eyes adjusted he saw him. The boy was a little younger than he was, from what he could tell, too old to be the boy from earlier. He tried to stand up and shakely he finally managed to get himself standing.
"That's me. And who are you?"

A large stocky man exited Mystic's hideout by the will of the demon, the man carrying his master along in his heart. His vessel walked down the streets, scanning the building around him for a hunter's aura. It was then that he saw them, through the eyes of his victim. Mystic saw the two white auras, barely visible through the brick wall of a building across the street. He sat down at a nearby coffee shop, ordering some water and a newspaper. He needed to pass time before his opportune moment.

Anne walked into the building and once again walked past the rubble on the ground. She held her colt.45 tight, recalling how strong the demon who she kicked through that wall had been. She searched for Detroit in the halls as random people walked in and out of the building. But she did not see him.
Wow, I've lost him too... she thought to herself.

-Night would be falling soon... good. He had grown quite tired of this resting place; the faces of the gargoyles adorning the balcony of the clock tower he made his perch upon reminded him too much of hell; a distraction he couldn't afford as he looked directly down upon the roof of a seperate building hundreds of stories below... and the scattered, tiny auras that dwelled within - earlier during the day, he had made his way atop the clock tower; the tallest building in the east district of the city... he took a few steps toward the ledge, his right fore-toe peering off the ledge of the balcony, before he breathed deeply the air again... he smelled it... the flesh of another elite of his master was near... that was no good... no doubt it would try to steal his prey... he brought his attention back on the building, and its concealed auras deep within, bent at the knees, and leapt straight into the air... slowing in forward motion before going into a silent, rapid plummit... a tiny dot of his shadow appearing right on the center of his target's roof... before crashing through that exact spot, himself, feet first; the combined weight of his armor, enertia from his fall, force of impact, and frailty of the superstructure of the building itself caused him to keep smashing through each and every floor, until reaching the ground... where he left quite the impression in the concrete... where he had passed through the building, holes remained... and now that he had comprimised the structure's stability and alerted his prey to his presence, it was time for their blood to run; his claws grew sharper and in length, slightly, as he silently bounded up the first set of stairs.-

"Me? I'm Detroit. I'm another demon hunter." he grinned, slightly amused by the dark-haired man's reaction. "Heh. You thought I was going to kill you, didn't you? No worries. I was just looking for you - Anne told me to."

-He halted in the foyer of the ramshackle building; from the inside, easily a crack house; bullet pock-marks along with long since dried human and demon blood, alike, adorned the curling, deteriorating wallpaper... there was over turned furnature and demon corpses along the floor... a few skeletal remains of human women... and some freshly spent shell casings leading to the next set of stairs, where he had picked up the voice of one of the human men, speaking something about not meaning to kill him... he observed their auras through the walls before slowly advancing to the stairwell... even with his crash-through entrance, they seemed unaware of his presence... a pity.-

Anne had walked into one of the rooms in the first floor. She had not walked into any of the rooms before. But she sat down in a chair a bit weary and reloaded her weapons...
Then she heard what sounded like an explosion. She jumped up, her pistol at low ready and noticed the wall adjacent to the hallway was cracking.
Carefully she grabbed her SAW in her right hand and her pistol in her left and headed towards the door.

Mystic, looking up, had just enough time to see the demon come crashing through the building. Knowing that no human could have done that, Mystic forced his vessel to stand, cross the street, and enter the building. So, the kill is to be contested... he thought, as he shut the door to the screaming masses outside, then triggered the change. His vessel doubled over in pain, clutching his chest as they began to contort and enlargen themselves. Falling to his knees, the human groaned as its lower legs shifted into a more beastial form, his hands and feet becoming meaty paws. The host's skull became elongated, twisted into the semblace of a wolf's, the fangs bared in pain and hatred. His victim grew a tail, and finally fur to cover his body under the stretched and shredded remnants of clothing.

((Sorry, I missed it))
Detroit looked up suddenly, hearing a loud crashing noise.
"What was that?" he asked Nathan. He backed up against the wall, bracing himself for an attack.

Anne peered through the door into the first floor hallway. She heard the voice of a man groaning down one end, but she sensed a evil presences all around her.
Anne slid into the hallway and stanced herself facing the foyer. There a werewolf hunched on the ground. Once Anne had caught good sight of it she triggered her SAW, spraying bullets towards the creature.
