I have to say every album would be my favorite if I had just heard all of Have a nice day, but I have been into other music genres lately and I have not had it among my priorities... I'd still like to listen to it though xp
And now, when I think about it, I come to acknowledge how wonderful Bon Jovi's style is: although their music has changed a lot from the first album the Rock essence has remained on all of them, and every album happens to be something absolutely new from what the one before it was... surprised

Does anyone know the actual connection between Bon Jovi and Alice Cooper?
apparantly someone from Bon jovi is cousins with Alice cooper.
Anyway...
Bon Jovi sang in Alice Coopers Trash. Also, Richie does the intorduction to Alice Coopers 'hell is living without you.'
Also, here's a theory I love. One I thought up last year, but have had no verification of whether it is true or not.
Bon Jovi's Bed of roses. Sure you're all familliar with it. wink well, the chorus goes:
I wanna lay you down on a bed of roses... for tonight I sleep on a bed of nails.
Well. The whole song seems to be about how he is with one person, while he wants to be to the person he is singing to (if thats coherant?)
Alice Cooper produced a Song Called Bed of Nails, all about hard, fast, dirty sex. Which I think was released before Bed of Roses was written.
And given that I think there is a connection between the two bands... I think Bon Jovi used the premise for Bed of Nails in Roses.
So the song would therefore be about him having dirty sordid sex with one person, while he really wants to be with another!
Obviously thats what the songs about, just like knowing the connection smile
Oh, and in Trash, Bon Jovi says at the end If I gave you my lollipop, would you lick it? ha ha ha.
Sorry if most of this was already known, just had no-one other than my partner to discuss this with! (and we have, at length!)

That last post reminded me of another band Jon Bon Jovi appeared with. I looked them up on the internet, which i'd never done before, and found out some new stuff.
The band's called Cinderella, and apprently Jon Bon Jovi saw them playing live in some small place, and thought they were awesome. So he got them signed to Bon jovi's label and appeared on their first album (which i've got).
If anyone can find it on the interent, Bon Jovi's supposed to sing the first verse of a song called In From The Outside, but if it's him, it sounds like he's putting an accent on to sound like the Cinderella singer. I'd like it if someone else hears it and gives their opinion.
I thought of it because their album was recorded in the same year as Slippery When Wet, and one of the lyrics in a Cinderella song mentions a Social Disease, so i thought there was some influencing there.

Stella Roses I like Cinderella. I have one of their albums "Long Cold Winter". I don't really know anything about them though. Cool. I've got Long Cold Winter on vinyl, but i don't get to listen to it much. The only record player in my house is my dads, and as I often make...mistakes...when putting records on, i'm not allowed to use it.
