Tony was dozing even before Ever got up off the couch, snoring softly as he settled into what he thought was a very comfortable sleeping position, but what his back and neck would tell him in the morning was quite the opposite.
He wasn't exactly thinking about the future at the moment. Or anything, at all.
The night have been a perfect way to relax, and he couldn't believe how much fun he had been able to have, with something so simple as a bottle of booze, some pizza, and a good friend to help. Much better than hitting the bar alone, or having a moody teenager stomping around while he was trying to relax at home.
Infinitely better, in fact.
He felt Ever tugging the coat over him, grumbling a bit at being half awoken. He opened his eyes, though, when he felt something brush his lips, looking up in a drunken haze to see Ever's face suspiciously close.
"I'm straight now," he said dimly, half coherently, as if continuing a conversation he hadn't been having. He closed his eyes and sighed though, not looking perturbed. "Night."

Ever was woefully aware, yes. He huffed out a breath as he straightened, trying not to think too hard about the word now in that context, and what it might have meant at another time. And he definitely didn't reply: replying would meant admitting that he'd done it. The closest he came to that, right now, was a hint of a blush on his cheeks.
He beat it once Tony's eyes were closed again, to huddle down in a chair and feel stupidly sorry for himself, curled under his jacket. He'd feel better in the morning.
