His fingers brushed soaked yarn and he gave an extra push to hook his hand below the other boil's armpit so he could hoist him up, one handed, and set his feet safely on the deck again. He was light for a ghost, and beyond that the older boil was something of a fitness nut.
Now that he wasn't in immediate danger of being eaten by a shark the little whisp was turned about so Seiji could place a hand on either shoulder as he kneeled in front of him. Red on black eyes searching him over as if expecting to find some injury. It wasn't like the kid had hit anything on his way down, but that sort of logic seemed to have escaped the black haired boil. "Are you ok?"
And beyond that. "Don't do that again."

The pup's eyes widened as he was tugged over the rail with haste, and then turned around. What was it Seiji was looking for? Jove tilted his head curiously as he let the boil give him a thorough looking over, standing still and dripping on the deck. He must have been quite a sorry sight, his usually fluffy hair plastered to his head, his ears only half-perked, his clothing clinging and dripping to form puddles around his bare feet. Something shiny was stuck in his hair near one ear, but he didn't seem to notice it's presence.
Jove nodded. He was all wet, but yes. He gave a little tail wag, quite pathetic looking in his drenched state, to show just how okay he was. Then he gave the older boil a puzzled expression. Don't do what, climb again? Lean over the rail? ... Go swimming? He took a couple steps towards the broken rail, pointing in hopes that Seiji would better elaborate. However, to the boil it might have looked like Jove was ready for another leap overboard.

(oooh, thank you~! I'll try to keep him from eating it. >_>)
"Oh, that makes sense!" Thackery chimed, still dangling the decrepit crayon over the edge. "It's pretty much the exact opposite to where I come from...and there aren't a lot of fish where I lived. They smell really bad. I guess sometimes the sulfur and smoke and stuff can stink, but not as bad as fish." He wrinkled up his nose to properly demonstrate his distaste in the reeking creatures, just in time to have one lunge at the crayon, land at his feet, and choke a bag of rice halfway out its gaping mouth. "Ew! I never had to deal with that, either!" Cautiously, he kicked at the fish with his boot. No, he'd never like to live by the sea. Not if it meant smelling like this all the time.
"Being a harpy sounds fun. I mean, I like being a Cerberus and a triplet and everything, but you get feathers, and feathers are really nice." He watched her begin to paint the drab fish as he idly bothered the bag of rice, not seeming to notice when the bloated grains started to spill out. "Hey, it kinda matches you!"

Cricket took up a spot at the front of the ship to look over the ocean, running one hand idly over a piece of the rotting wood that the boat was made out of. It seemed she didn't have much care for what was happening on the boat.
Once again.
In fact, she was probably going to be stuck staring out at sea for the next couple of days..... leaving the crew to fend for themselves... Well, that was if they really cared to do that either way. If they didn't, well...Cricket's centipedes were still roaming the ship and would likely nibble on anything fleshy that stayed still long enough.
In fact, they did attempt some nibbling. And it was in everybody's best interest to not squash them for the attempt. Either because of the 'might need the heals later' or the 'don't want the teacher to throw me overboard forever'.
((NOTE: You guys can keep up your same course of RP you already have going since it seems Cricket is going to keep you suckers fishing yourselves for another couple of days.
She's horrible. I know. Stupid roll. OH WELL. ))

The fog is really thick. It will cost an extra 3 days to find your way, as well as 50 food supplies! The fog had rolled in. It wasn't a horrible fog at first, but slowly, over the course of the hours, Cricket standing at the front of the ship became one of the few things that could still be seen. And even her glowing form was being masked by the thick of the fog.
It wasn't long before she looked to the crew, seemed to consider her options, before saying, quite seriously;
"I think it'll be safest if you all retire below deck for now." With that, she paused, seeming to consider her options, she said nothing more...though she had had a thought for a while about doing something more.
Once below deck, however, it seemed that someone had left a surprise there of sorts. Given how scarce bedding had been for the first chunk of the trip, it was with great surprise that someone had made a pillow fort.
..... Maybe that explained the sudden lack of birds in the sky the other day.....
But with pillows galore, and no Cricket to watch everybody, it became time for aaaaaaaaaaaaaa---PILLOW FIGHT!!The first rule of Pillow-Fight-Club is you don't talk about Pillow-Fight-Club. There is, for some reason, an unlimited amount of pillows. Your goal is going to be to break them. I guess you can stash some away first if you want more comfort in sleeping, but none the less... Roll 2 10-sided dice. If you get either a 10 or a 20, you've broken a pillow! However, you need to wait for someone else to post between rolls. Can't be a pillow fight without someone to fight! This pillow fight will last until tomorrow evening (unless something else happens before then!)

Before the painted fish was taken away, she took a photo of it using her (quickly running out of battery) skelephone, staring at it wistfully for a moment longer, like it would help her meet up with her friends sooner...
----- [DAYS PASSED LOL]
Staring out at the horizon caused her to pretty much space out, although once in a while, she would glance around for Calder as Tess' advice echoed through her mind. Spacing out again, her attention was quickly moved to the tug on her dress, however, and she turned to find an adorable but bored looking Charlie staring at her.
"Aw... You must be bored out of your mind," Lizzy frowned slightly, giving the boil a pat on his head in a sympathizing way before looking thoughtful. She held onto his wrist gently, making sure he wouldn't be able to wriggle free any time soon, "Let's see... You know this guy named Pup- Uh, I mean Mac?" Before she could say anymore, however, Nurse Cricket's voice interrupted her and she turned to look at the setting fog.
"... Charlie, let's go," She pulled him below deck, still holding onto his wrist. She stared, surprised at the pillows waiting for them before letting him go and picking one up, hugging it; it had been too long, not holding onto one of these... Looking up slowly, a thoughtful expression crossed her features before she grinned, bringing the pillow down on Charlie's head, "Here, something for you to do!"

It was about the time some lunatic started a fish painting contest that Elaphe lost all desire to stick around the crowd, and thus the boy (bile stained pants and all) grabbed his catch by the tail, and even his disgusting throw-up box, and proceeded to drag the carcass full of dead weight as far off as he could around the other end of the deck for more... well, solitary butchering. Without his claws and fangs proper, it was a challenge; in fact, how he managed to filet the thing and slice it apart at all was a mystery for the ages. But he did, and in time, the little Nguruvilu had prepared himself a fairly respectable spread, which he spent the remainder of the day chewing on.
... All the while, he sat there, and he listened. To what? Well, there were a lot of things: the ocean, for one, the other passengers babbling distantly, even the occasional fish breaking surface down below. Staring off into the fog as it crept in, he could only hope Nosi and Donner were doing alright back home... surely, Lapid would keep them in order, right? The water scareon was always comfortably independent, and surely, he could take care of things in the boy's abence... couldn't he?
Elaphe was not used to putting his faith in others, regardless of how much he trusted the-- wait, wait a second; what was going on now?
Apparently the school nurse was calling them all below deck again, due to... what, the fog? Personally, he didn't find it that unsettling, but kept his mouth shut as he kicked the remaining fish carcass overboard, (hesitantly) grabbed his lone 'prize' under arm, and wandered back down again, no doubt to go be a recluse and.... drown in a sea of pillows?
For a minute he just stopped and stared at the great fluffy mass. For reasons he couldn't pinpoint at the time, a shiver crawled up his spine, and his frown deepened. This couldn't end well. He just knew it.
Immediately with his free arm he snatched up a pillow near him and began to scoot off along the wall, secretly searching for somewhere to GET THE HECK AWAY before he got clouted half to death by his bigger, stronger peers.
It was like he sensed what a prime target he was.
RUN AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.

The fog was not something Calder was wary of. In fact, he loved it! Where he came from, there was always fog. It made the air damp and he found it comforting. Nurse Cricket didn't seem to share his thoughts, and directed them all down to the lower decks. Cooped in. Inside! That was exactly what he wanted. He already had a bunch of energy and nothing to do. He would wind up pacing up and down the lower deck just to DO something.
Grumbling, the kelpie made a point to stomp down the steps – which wasn't a good idea after his hoof went through the fourth one. Pulling his leg out, he continued down a bit more softly, arms crossed over his chest as he made it down to the lower level. Unlike the other students, he made do with sleeping while standing, but he sure did miss the sight of a pillow. A big cuddler, he saw the fluffy pile and went over, letting gravity take hold and flopping down. Yup. He could nap.
Rolling to his side, he watched Lizzy smack another kid with a pillow. HAH! That was funny. Tail flopping up and down, Calder watched with a dawning glee. He never had a pillow fight before. Pushing into the covers, he started to dig into it and stood pushed off, slipping under the piles of pillows before reaching for one. Moving around in Jaws fashion, he kept Lizzy in his sights as he held his pillow. When he came close, he popped out of the piles of pillows and bopped her on the head.

Jove was not overly uncomfortable with the fog, it was an interesting sensation sitting in the rigging surrounded by nothing but damp whiteness, it made him feel like he was dreaming, or sitting in the clouds, or numerous other things that would occasionally pop into the minds of children. But he scurried down the rigging and into the hold anyway, no sense in displeasing the nurse without good reason.
He trotted down the stairs, intent on looking for someone he knew when he froze at the sight of all the pillows littering the floor, thicker than any moss he had seen in his life. With his ears perked, he dashed into the fray, grabbed the fluffiest pillow he could find, and ran with it in hopes of flopping on it childishly where nobody would see. The softest thing he had cuddled with on their trip was another student, and even then he hadn't intentionally done so, and made himself aloof and adult-like not long after he woke up from whatever nap had induced such indecent behaviour.
The pup didn't get too far with his pillow before one foot slipped out from under him, the silk cushion directly underneath shifting and causing him to lose his balance. He faceplanted into the pillows, arms outstretched in front of him, the pillow he wanted to snuggle with so badly coming down right on Calder's head only seconds after the kelpie's own ambush.

Aside from more fishing things had been considerably uneventful the past few days. And then the fog had rolled in, at which point Cricket had ushered them all below deck. Great, just great. Stuck inside with practically nothing. There wasn't even scenery to stare lazily at as the hours ticked slowly by.
...
Or maybe there was. "Pillows?" Lots of pillows. The absolute first thought that crossed the jikininki's mind was 'Score!' A complete lack of bedding had resulted in a severe lack of sleep, and though he didn't technically need to, he certainly enjoyed it. Pillows could make that a distinct possibly now. "Jove, Grab as many as you can carry."
Just as he'd instructed, the boil rushed forward to grab an arm load of fluffy dawn pillows, making off with them to stash them with his and Jove's stuff, as well as leaving a couple with Alessa's luggage. She was feeling better, but he still worried.
Upon his return he proceeded to snatch up another o the dawny sacks of feathers, and glanced around himself before deciding on a suitable target. Despite his best efforts the Kelpi had been stubbornly distant the entire trip, and the ghost boil was growing a little tired of it. Taking aim, he cocked his arm back for a major league swing before letting loose all that power against the back of Calder's blonde head.

Alessa really, really wanted to get off this boat. It was a thousand times worse than the train ride to Christmas Town had ever been. At least she wasn't nauseous anymore...but that was mainly because she hadn't eaten in a few days. Fishing did nothing for her state as a vegetarian. So, while she had been able to perhaps be a bit more sociable, she'd been rather week, so she certainly hadn't been chasing Jove around when he got restless or anything. She couldn't handle it.
She awoke from a small nap when everyone was ushered down below. She had hoped it was finally for a real mean, but no. Instead she was met with a sea of pillows...Jack damn it, it just made her want to go to sleep again. She glanced blearily at Jove, Seiji, and Calder to see what they were up to and...Oh! They were having a pillow fight? She had fond memories of such antics with LW, and sometimes the boys, so even though she was dead tired and her knees sometimes trembled from lack of food, she looked a little eager.
She took a large, poofy pillow in hand and tried to take aim but uh...it was a bit hard, as all three boys were rather close together, at least from where she stood on the opposite side of the hold. When she tossed it, it flew awkwardly, and rather harmlessly, in Seiji's direction. "Oopps! Sorry, Seiji..."

It was an attack from all sides!! Just after he hit Lizzy, the small pup boil had attack him! For someone who played the cute card a lot, he sure knew how to attack. Ears flat as the pillow hit his head, he was then TWAPTED by Seiji's pillow from the other side. Falling over, he covered his head as if under machine gun fire and then grabbed for the biggest pillow he could find. Once he gripped on in hand, he shouted out. "THIS MEANS WAR!" And then threw the pillow at Jove, his first attacker. He'd get Seiji next. This battle was on!

He had barely managed to draw his arm back from his assault on the kelpi's head when another of the downy projectiles ht him squarely in the back. Attacked from behind?! Who would dare?
Spinning about the ghost eyed the wererabbit as she proceeded to apologize for the hit, dark eyes narrowing as a competitive little grin tugged at the corners of gray lips. Oh, it was on! Winding up the pillow already in his hand the boil tossed it baseball style at the ghouls face. Not particularly hard, he didn't want to hurt her, but Calder had been accurate in his battle cry. This was War.
As he released the pillow he turned, looking to see if the pup had seen his impressive skills with pillow tossing, only to see him get walloped by Calder.

Jove had no sooner scrambled to his feet when he was bowled over by a hit from a flying pillow! What in Jack's name was that?! The pup righted himself and sat up to better analyse the situation. It looked like the pillows were harmless, physically at least, although the little ghost certainly felt it as a blow to his pride. With a determined little scowl he picked up a nearby pillow and swung it back at the kelpie, missing completely and hitting the closest student nearby... Seij, just as he was turning back around.
With wide, shocked eyes Jove abandoned the pillow and scrambled away, just in case the other ghost decided to return the attack.
