 she meets ryu and he remembers meeting her as a foal!
he is the one who gives her the toy. he taught her to be dainty and such but as she got older she got twisted somehow
like she wanted to live her child hood and be like 'dun eat her, she is non-edibles' and Neko would be all '*sadface* okay papa' he could act likes he is injured just to try and get a meal i guess?
something like that
and ryu could be all like save the day
well i was thinking bella could be all buddy buddy with the parent/parents and then when the babies come along she could try and share her toy but be too childish and then be mean and rip the toy away from them r something The babies to come would be more likely to trick her into giving htem teh toy and stealing it XD
though that would be an interesting idea...a trap
after she meets ryu she is confused and he helps her understand, adopts her. i have her get trading post items to resemble family line
also he trains her in the ways to act with respect again, because of her confusion, and need to help others she decides to start a herd for other lost soquili who are confused about their past, parents or have no one.
she supports and is someone they can lean on
It would be fun if Zelia was all "Ryu! I'm Home! And I have a surprise =D" and hes all "Oh goodie, cause I have a surprise for you =D!" And then they both show they adopted someone while the other was away lolol

a bit playful and childish but she has a "want/need" to take care of/help others. But above all she thinks highly of herself and her little wool mouse, she doesn't like to have others touch it or look at it unless she gives them permission to. It could be said that she is very vain and considers herself as graceful as they come, as beautiful as they come and shes a gift to nature sort of attitude.
