I'm going to see them on the 4th of June!
*is rather excited*
I asked for tickets for christmas just gone. It was the only thing I asked for and.... I didn't get them. i was absolutly heartbroken, because I could never afford them on my own. Instead I gotsome alcohol and bedsheets (for christmas??????)
So, me being heartbroken, cried my eyes out that night, and mourned for the tickets I never got for weeks afterwards. Was the fact that they were the only thing I wanted, coupled with the total lack of consideration over presents given to me that hurt (I'm spoiled, or at least I was when i lived at home. the fact all my younger brothers got everything they wanted, at great expense hurt a bit too)
Anyway, on my birthday, my mother was giving me clues as to what she had gotten me. Saying things liek it was bit, electrical and had to be plugged in (last year she got me a hoover, so io wasn't expecting anything exciting)
When I went to my mothers on my birthday, she gave me an envelope with a birthday card in it... and said my present was in the garage. She and my stepdad went to get it, while I opened my card.
Inside the card was a recipet(sp?) for 4 tickets to go and see Bon jovi in june!( 4, one for me, my partner, mother and stepfather, cause they want to come too)
I burst out in tears and was so happy!
That is my mothers ultimate redeeming moment!
I have my copy of the recipt hung up on my wall, and shall put the tickets in it too after the concert! (tickets are handed out on the coach on the way down)
Also, just the other day my mother told me that the compnay we are going with is going to select 4 tickets at random, for people to go onto the side stage and meet the band afterwards! Oh god that would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe -winks- It was awesome at the time. And the setlist for the European tour looks grrrrreat. They're playing 'Dry County'. They haven't done it live for more than eleven years! So yay!

That is so nice! My mum and dad would never give me tickets... but then again, they don't know the first thing about my type of music -laughs-. I hope you get one of the tickets, it would be awesome to see them so closeby!

I went to the June 15th Concert in Philly at Citzen's Bank Park. My best moment was when me and the drunk women next to me started singing at the top of ours lungs almost every single lyric!
I went to the 05 Have A Nice Day Tour and had great seats. Off to the side but elevated and so I was about 50 feet from them?
