Matasoga The tilt is for the usual reason. This is a little bat that I drew for a children's book that I was assigned to create as a school project. I don't believe that I ever fully completed it, but this illustration came out well enough to post. Well one thing for sure it's cute enough that if were made into a plushie i would buy it on the spot for my little cousins. But somethings scratching me the wrong way what's in it's hands, or claws?

Absolutely, though I'd be even happier if you'd favorite it (if you have a DA account) or leave me a comment. Scope Gambler Well one thing for sure it's cute enough that if were made into a plushie i would buy it on the spot for my little cousins. But somethings scratching me the wrong way what's in it's hands, or claws? Those are his wings and it's just some sort of tiny fruit, or some such thing. An olive, or (given the color, more likely) a grape that he found. He's a fruit bat. A baby albino fruit bat. The new picture is coming now, much earlier than usual, but by all means, feel free to give me any more questions or comments that you have on this or any other earlier work.

This is a creature that I created for an RP, which is a half manticore half dragon. Unfortunately, I lost track of it sometime around the flood which was an awful shame because I had a really interesting color combination that was rather vibrant and somewhat psychedelic. Maybe I'll find it, oneday, or trace it from a print out and redo it that way.

Scope Gambler Nice, looks like something you don't want to piss off, but what was it's original colors? I It has blue lips, green highlights, yellow eyes, possibly some exposed pink where the flesh is degenerating around the bone, yellow eyes, all very vibrant. Possibly some pale yellow about the bone and chestplates and some muted orange along the body. Black, otherwise.

Scope Gambler That sounds like an acid trip, if you ask me. I suppose, based on the artistic representations. I thought that it would give a rather interesting effect, considering his apearance. And it's kind of funny, considering that he has a highly corrosive breath weapon. It literally is a spray of acid... Just the flesh-melting kind, with no hallucinogenic qualities... Though the dragon itself is controlled by others who farm drugs. He's addicted to a fictional hallucinogen known as Sannish.

Yes, and while I don't support drug use (which is clear enough, as all of the monstrous local drug users are basically puppets of a sort of fiend) I felt it would give it a level of aesthetic and symbolic depth.

More of a doped up puppet used for an alternate purpose, but yeah, that's part of it, too.

This was for a TIME magazine cover that we were assigned for school. I did mine about torture in Gitmo. Why I didn't save the straightened final version I can't answer for... I have no idea.
