EpicNeko Taiko smiled and sat down on the couch, rubbing Xion's head. Rikku went out-side to the front lawn and lay there in her wolf form in the sun and rested a bit more. She woke up to the sound of smashing class when she woke-up she saw some kids throwing stones at Taiko's house. She stood up her tail went straight and down behind her, her ears back flat, the hair on her back started to bristle, she growled deeply as a warning revealing her long white fangs.She was in defensive mode and was staring into the eyes of the biggest kid there her wolf nature was kicking in and starting to take control she challenged the kid to throw just one more stone.......

Xion looked up as she heard the smashing glass, the stone landing just in front of her. Her fur bristled slightly before she sat down, wary of more stones.

He moved his arm with the stone towards the house Rikku growled and took another step forward. He backed off a bit so Rikku did too. She was still growling keeping perfect eye contact.

Xion tilted her head as she heard Rikku growling, winding her way out of Taiko's arm to sit on the open windowsill, looking out at Rikku and the boy.

The boy took a few steps towards the house then started to run bot stopped suddenly as Rikku jumped in his way. He tried switching his way of going but everywhere he went Rikku made sure to keep in front. A big dog from the next house over caught eye of what was going on and jumped over the fence to challenge Rikku. The boy seemed to know the dog he kept yelling "Rusty go go now get 'em Rusty!" The dog ran towards Rikku. She just pounced on the dog and they started fighting.

Xion stayed sat on the windowsill, worried for Rikku but unsure of what she could do to help.

Rikku had accepted the challenge and started darting in and out from the dog slashing him with her teeth every time she went in there was a loud yelp that came from the other dog and every time it went to strike Rikku she would jump back without a scratch. Rikku gave no mercy to the dog until it finally fell to the ground panting and whining in pain Rikku stood growling at it pacing back and forth in front of the boy, the dog, and the other kids.

Xion relaxed slightly, but was a little afraid of Rikku after seeing what she did to the dog. However, she still trusted the wolf.

Taiko stood up, angry now, walked over to Rikku and grabbed her by the neck and pushed her behind him. He glared at the kids and said, "Get... the... ********... away... from my pets... NOW!" He watched as the kids ran off and he looked at Rikku and Xion and asked, "They didn't hurt you two did they?"

Xion shook her head, moving up to sit on Taiko's shoulder where she curled up.

Rikku turned to her human form again "N-no..." She went back and sat in a chair next to Xion. She turned to Xion "And im sorry you had to witness that but its my instincts to accept a challenge or even challenge another and not to be beaten on my own territory, i hope that it doesn't affect our friendship, cause you know very well i wouldn't hurt you, or any other cat for that matter im ashamed to say but dogs are the only ones stupid enough to challenge a wolf ...on its own anyway..."

Taiko looked at Rikku worried, then walked over to the dog she fought. He knelt down and muttered, "Stupid mutt... attacking my pet..." He poked at one of it's wounds, making it whimper in pain. He sighed and got some white banages and started wrapping the dog's wounds up. "It's best to do this... other wise who ever owns this dog will sue me and take you both away..." He sighed when the dog was banaged up and picked it up. He carried it to his room, laid it on his bed, then shut his bedroom door and locked it. "I'm going to call the vet hospital, to see what I should do for the dog." then he stopped by Rikku, "Good girl, I never liked that dog anyway... I'm glad you attacked it... Just try not to go into my room, ok sweetie?" Then he kissed her forehead and flipped his cell phone open and called the vet hospital.

Taiko smiled then spoke to the vet. He nodded as he listened. He looked down at his feet and sighed. Then he said, "Alright... I understand." Then he flipped the phone closed and put the phone on the table. Then he shook his head and said, "The vet said the dog isn't going to live... Guess that means most likely they will sue me... Dang... Guess I should make a few phone calls... if I pay them back in money they won't be able to take you two away..." He flipped his phone open again and started calling a friend that he knew would help him out.
