Departing the crevice, Liam stopped in the new, much larger, room with a waterfall and everything. Here, under the earth, everything was dark and loud. It was certainly different from the artificially lit hallways of the base. More... natural. He had been itching to leave the base for a while and find something new and this place was certainly newer... well, probably super old, but new to him!
... And then a Golbat swooped down to eat two people standing farther away from him... Well, that was new!

The screech caught her attention and she stumbled back with a rather undignified squeak of surprise, away from the teeth and the whatever it was, and a hand quickly flew to the pokeballs at her belt. She grabbed one at random and released the pokemon inside, and the light morphed into a petite Glaceon. "Ice Beam," she commanded, and the oddly colored 'veelution obeyed, a stream of ice flying towards the offending pokemon.

Once most everyone went though the crack Alexander squeased in s well. Once he was in the room with the others he was surprised when there was a sudden screech from ahead of him a ways. "Look out!" He yelped and grabbed Conrad's pokeball, ready to call him out. He had to pause though since the Eevee would not be much help with the flying pokemon.

These were the times when Nyx counted herself lucky that she wasn't claustrophobic. The tiny scientist had no problems fitting into the crack, she was both short, and lacking any remarkable girth; She was very happy to be in a wider space, until some golbat decided to try to maul some of their members. Tesla, though great against flying types, would not be so great when everyone was standing in ankle deep water.
"Darwin, transform." Nyx pressed the latch on one of her pokeballs, releasing the shiny mew waiting inside. The pokemon glowed briefly and turned into one of the flying, giant mouthed pokemon. He may not have been able to attack, but it was better to have a pokemon out with her.

Faleen heard an increase of noise, a body coming from above. she couldn't see what it was, and her reaction was the flinch down and turn her head up to what the hell was swooping down on a couple of the Rockets that were coming out of the crack.
"Banette!" she called to the Pokemon she already had out.
"BAN BA!" the cry from a ghost pokemon suddenly flew into view, forming from the thin air.
He hadn't wandered far from his master, He readied an attack and threw his shadow ball at it.

Ah hell... Reaching to her left hip, Kofuku grabbed a pokeball and sent out her pokemon. "Hiromi! Stand by." The vaporeon appeared and it's ears flickered a little as her dark eyes accustomed itself to the dark.
Flames lit up the cavern only seconds before, and Kofuku was ready for what could be an onslaught of panicked wild pokemon. It didn't seem like bursts of light were very frequent in this cavern, and she had no clue what the result would be.

Missing its target, the Golbat was then struck by both fire and ice at the same time. A loud screechof pain coming from the Pokemon as it fell and landed in the water with a splash. The Pokemon thrashing about in pain, followed by a bright flash of light that was a Confuse Ray.
"Keep moving!" Seth bellowed, not wanting people to linger because of a single Pokemon. He marched forward, following the stream of water, as it seemed like that it would lead them to a chamber were Kyogre was more likely to be.

A Golbat in a cave was about as surprising as a Magikarp in a pond, and Nadja's expression barely flickered from its faint frown of concentration. No one was screaming in pain, though, so she kept following the flowing water deeper into the cavern, red hair briefly illuminated by the sweep of a flashlight beam.

The golbat wouldn't last long, not with how many pokemon were throwing attacks at it.
she listened instead to Seth's order, glancing back at the golbat once, while Banette floated back next to her, and she continued on sloshing through after seth.
Banette, still visible following after her, ready to react if another wild pokemon decided to attack suddenly.

"Oh, hehll... Might as wehll." Isadora grimaced and took one of the two Pokeballs at her belt, releasing its contents out into the cave in a flash of light. The light formed into a large canine shape, revealing her Arcanine, Iditarod, who stood patiently at attention, waiting for orders from her master. Isadora frowned and beckoned for her Pokemon to follow as continued through the cave per the Elite's orders. The others would surely help Claire and Lucas, right...? Right? Biting her lip, Isadora truly hoped so.

Whoo, crisis averted. Well, surely there'd be worse up ahead, but at least their faces would be intact. "Again," she ordered to Xina, who obeyed and shot another Ice Beam at the Golbat to make sure it wouldn't cause anymore trouble.
With that done Claire scanned around the cavern, the beam of light floating over rocks and rippling water, treading carefully to make sure she didn't slip or fall into any hidden holes or anything with Xina trotting along behind her.

With that Ice beam, the Golbat fainted. Alone and unwanted.

Alexander looked at the two attacked Rockets but everything seemed in hand so he followed after Agent Seth. He kept Conrad's pokeball in hand at all times just in case he was needed.He stepped carefully so he wouldn't loose his footing thanks to the currents or slippery rocks.

Touching Hiromi's head to get the pokemon's attention, Kofuku followed after Seth and Nadja. She wasn't about to get in the middle of a sure-to-be-victory battle with a wild Golbat, and there was something much more important to this mission than just going around and catching common pokemon.
"C'mon... be on guard." She whispered to the vaporeon, knowing that it was smarter to have a pokemon out now.

That was a sad destiny that Golbat suffered. But there were things to do, and the other Rockets were moving along. Lucas recalled Snow into his pokeball to remove the effects of the Confuse Ray - and to remove the fire-type from the water - and proceeded alongside the others.
