Mayu Nikita Squad 4's Vestec Mayu nodded to Shalrien, following after Lux until they arrived at the inn that he spoke of. Sliding off of Marianne, she led her to the stables and let them take care of her from there, taking only her small bag from her mare. Stroking her nose gently, she touched her forehead to the horses nose to keep her calm, then heading on inside.
She got them a room, glancing over to some of the people at the bar. Her cheeks flushed when she saw a couple of them looking her up and down in a way that she did not like. Lowering her eyes, she waited for the others before following the woman upstairs to their room, taking the time to look around at where they were. It was very.... fancy. She wasn't really used to such things. When one grew up in a small village that survived as best as it could despite what help they were given, luxury wasn't exactly at the top of the list.

 ++Squad 4 Guard: Lux of the White Rose++ Lux entered the inn, the looks that some of the men gave Lady Mayu obviously made her uncomfortable. He shot a look in their direction and they turned their attention back to their overpriced ale. He greeted the Innkeeper and warned all the men about the two women he traveled with, " Don't get any ideas, if you decide to mess with them you won't have to worry about me, They'll kill you." He walked upstairs to his room, he'd booked for the women to share a room and he would sleep alone. The heavy oak door swung open and Lux entered the room. the room was nice, well nice was an understatement. two cushy beds were placed in adjacent corners of the room. red and gold fabric and trim were everywhere. he walked over to the nearest bed and flopped down onto the plush surface. He silently said his prayers to the Goddess before sleep took hold of him and dragged him into yet another nightmare filled rest.
((Really people? It's only like 8:30 here. Oh well I'll be on earlier then usual tomorrow. yay, I can post more!))

~Senel Krusis~ Senel had spent the majority of the trip lost in his own thoughts, many of which he was bent on keeping to himself for a long while. Gondin's little tune was the only sound that kept him aware of reality, but Amaya and Rosa, like him, were quiet as well.
As soon as they reached the following town the dark presence he felt the first time he had encountered a Deathwalker returned. It was that suddenly coldness, the chill that ran down his spine and that feeling of loneliness and emptiness that took over one's emotions. The silver haired teen was well aware that his teammates, especially Amaya, were sensing the same. Then the little girl appeared. Senel was positive that girl was one of them, but the thought of a little girl was something he was not expecting. "Children..." he thought to himself. "They really have no soul." He felt his hand reaching the hilt of his katana, but something stopped him. How could he live with the blood of a child, monster or not? He could feel his inner struggle tearing at his conscious but he knew what had to be done.
Rosa's sudden attack on one of the villagers and Amaya's words brought Senel back to reality. He knew he had to act fast for the sake of his troop and avoid complete hesitation. Turning towards Amaya he mumbled a quick apology before taking her face in his hands and kissed her firmly yet softly. The rest was up to her.(OoC: I didn't expect so many posts all of a sudden. Mayu Nikita Squad 4's Vestec When she saw the men finally turn away, she blinked and looked up to Lux, giving him a grateful smile. His statement made her inwardly chuckle, but she didn't show it. Though..... she also knew she couldn't actually kill anyone. She didn't have the strength, nor the finesse required. She was clumsy with a dagger despite all that her brother had taught her.
Mayu bade Lux good night before heading into their room, slowing in the doorway when she saw the splendor inside. Oh my... Blinking, she placed her bag down by one of the beds, her hands instinctively beginning to remove the braid from her hair. Crouching down by her bed, she examined the trimmed bed sheets, feeling the silky fabric. Wow.
Pulling herself from her awe, she still helped Shalrien a little with her slight wounds before crawling into bed. While she laid there, she offered her prayers to the goddess and soon was asleep. She had never been in such a comfy bed.........
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The birds chirped in the tree by their window, completely off balance with what was happening in her dreams. With a start, Mayu awoke, her hair spilling down her shoulders as a few tears rolled down her face. She knew that memory would haunt her forever as she watched Mal get swallowed up in the darkness. Shaking her head, she wiped her eyes quickly and got out of bed, pulling on her skirt since she had removed it per usual. Her jewelry came next, then her sandals, though she often preferred to go barefoot.
Glancing over to her sleeping guard, she let her and Shade be, slipping out the door as quietly as possible. Closing the door, she headed downstairs, peeking around the corner of the stairwell to see who was around. Good. No drunken men. She was anxious to find a new Handler, doing her best to shove her nerves away. What if she didn't find one? What if they were two severely different people? What if..... No no no Mayu Nikita! Stop it! You'll find one. You have to.... She was startled by a woman who came up and offered her some fruit, tilting her head as she saw the look in her eyes. Sadness, but still friendly.... Maybe I remind her of someone? "Thank you." She said softly with a bright smile, taking a pear since it had been a while since she'd last had one. The woman bowed her head and then vanished as fast as she had appeared, noticing she had come from a curtained doorway that she guessed led to the kitchen.
Biting her lip, she looked to the stairs, fighting with the urge to walk out into the city since she would be unprotected. But she never really got to wander and see what could be seen despite the few times they came back before. And well.... she wanted Lux and Shalrien to rest since they needed it more. She was fine. She was rested up from the last time they had encountered Deathwalkers, so that was no concern. And.... well, I know they need to talk about things. I won't be in their hair this way. Walking over to the main desk, she left a note for her team mates, telling them that she'd be out, but that she would stay nearby unless guards came for her.
With that done, Mayu headed out to the stables, finding Marianne in a bright disposition which made her smile. "There you are my dear.... How are they treating you hm? Good I hope." When she received a nodding motion and a few snorts in response, she smiled and laughed, not bothering with a saddle or anything, swinging up onto the mare's back easily. With that, she started down the street, her brown eyes watching the various people that went by and the architecture of the buildings. It was obvious this was the upper classes area.
Please just wait for me,  Iren Loun 'Irene' Iren awoke sprawled across the stables cold floor, she was lying right next to Calico with her face pressed against his side, hiding most of her body from the cold wind that entered. Iren pushed back away from the horse’s body in an attempt to get up, though he had decided to lay on parts of her hair. Groaning slightly, Iren looked up to Calico who was now looking at her, he quickly pushed onto his hind legs and up off her. "Thank you" she laughed to him as she rolled away from his feet, clinging to the side of the pen as she raised herself. Iren touched her cheek slightly, wincing in pain. A dark purple brose was forming on her right cheek where Calico must have accidently hit her face. She gently touched all down her face worrying when and if it ended, finally reaching the bottom of it which seemed to be her chin. She worried slightly if it was visible since she couldn't see it herself, ignoring that she continued with awakening herself. "Morning already" she commented to Calico, realising she wasn't alone in the stables. "So your finally awake"a voice commented from be hide her, she turned to see a male character who was grooming one of the horses. He usually was here a lot of the time even though he had no real ties to cleaning the horses. Iren nodded slightly annoyed that he didn't woken her, she knew this man well and he usually did. "You should probably hurry along, the elders don't seem to be too happy about your disappearance act yesterday" he said grinning at her as she remembered that. "There angry?" she asked slightly worried about being shouted at for hours on end about her and the towns safety. "See for yourself" he said grinning at her still as he finished on the horse, just before leaving he turned back to her frowning slightly, "What happened to your cheek? Did you get beaten again?" He asked in slight concern, since the bruise on her face wasn't getting any lighter. In fact, it seemed to be just starting to darken into a deep blue shade, easily visible from one end of the stables to another. "You can see it?" she asked worried as she covered it with her hand, "Its just where i fell on it" she lied since he'd start telling her story’s about why she can't sleep near horses. Luckily he smiled and nodded to her, leaving her to her lie and walked out. He wasn't the person to force her to do anything and would lie if it saved her a few hours of scolding on facts she knew already.
Iren stood still for a moment, thinking over what to do. She knew she had to face the elders but still she didn't. "I can't see them like this" she said turning to calico as she attempted to move some of her hair forward to hide it, though it failed in an attempt. "Maybe we should just eat" she grinned to the horse, knowing he loved his food.
Iren picked up her boots who she had kicked off before sleeping and strapped her Tonfa's to her belt on each side. Iren stepped onto the side of the wall and crawled onto Calicos back, refusing to put his saddle on since he practically lived in it and needed to give his shinning back some air. She then tucked her boots in-between her legs so that they wouldn't fall as she rode out of the stables.
Calico walked into the light, automatically lightening up and becoming more alert. Iren looked to the main house, dreading her own return and instead of eating there she'd go find somewhere else. "Maybe a bar or inn would work" she said happily talking to Calico, who frankly she believed could understand her since she and him knew each other so well. He obediently walked careful down the road, some people stared at Iren’s bruise on her face as she attempted to turn away from their gazes. Iren lightly tapped Calico to move faster so people could not see her as well, "Maybe i should go to a healer or something after" she self noted as she reached an inn which seemed to be the closest to the main building without going too far.
Entering in she turned and patted Calico, ordering him to stay which he snorted in reply. Walking into the cooler rooms, hidden from the sun. Even if it was early the sun already was hot. "Excuse me" she said peering around into the kitchen, seeing a woman she'd seen before but didn't know. "Can i just buy two apples?" she asked slightly embarrassed as the women agreed smiling. Iren would go to the market but it was bound to have Main building guards lurking around there, keeping 'peace'. Paying the woman, Iren left and clambered back onto Calicos back, holding out an apple in front of his nuzzle for him to eat as he began walking again.
"Going to the nurses" she said to Calico as he begun one direction and immediately switched and headed the way she intended. Iren sat on his back, hugging her boots as she bit into the apple, pulling her hair over her right side of her face. "I look a mess" she said to herself, disgraced at her appearance, as her hair was tangled from Calico sleeping on it and her bruise didn't make it seem any better. It looked as though she'd been attacked and beaten, which made her embarrassed that people may get the wrong idea. Especially the elders. (( FFF. I didn't mean it to be so long.~ Like 2 A4 pages xDD )) i promise i wont be long.
Amaya Squad 12's Vestec
"No time for apologies!" Amaya said hurriedly before Senel kissed her. Once he did, Amaya almost collapsed, holding onto Sage for support as her eyes turned completely white. Blinking, Amaya got used to it for a second before she began sight sharing with Senel, who would in turn share it to Rosa and Gondin. Half of the people surrounding them were deathwalkers, including the child. "It's a vestec! Kill it!" A man suddenly screamed, though Amaya could clearly see he was a deathwalker, though the vestec still kept a tight grip on Sage, not trusting her legs to keep her standing.
Shalrien and Shade Guard and unofficial guard of Squad 4
 As they entered the inn, the inn keeper looked as though he was about to say something about the large panther following Shalrien, but the female caught him before hand. "I don't sleep without Shade. And she's not sleeping in the stables." Shalrien warned coldly, making the inn keeper gulp and just nod quietly. When they reached the room, Mayu seemed a little stunned, though Shalrien and Shade just looked uncomfortable. The two never did like being inside for long, and much less in fancy places like this. Sighing, Shalrien took the other bed as Shade crawled up and curled around her, the two still falling asleep almost instantly. While their hearing was higher than a normal person's the two were exhausted from their journey and did not here Mayu leave the next morning, though Shalrien's dreams were haunted with what her life could have been with Mal.
Rosa Zabójca Squad 12's Guard Rosa blinked as her vision suddenly shifted, a white light filling her mind before she could now distinctly see the Deathwalkers. Beneath her mask, a grin started to grow upon her lips, more throwing needles appearing in her hand besides the one. "Yes, I can see you you goddamn brat." She snapped, letting her needles fly. They went into the eyes of three of the nearest Deathwalkers, the humans letting out shrieks before running as the bodies began to smoke before disintegrating into nothing more than ash.
As a man lumbered forward, she brought her dagger across his throat since he was more distracted by Amaya. Darting forward, she aimed a few kicks, knocking down some of the crowd before more needles went flying. More puffs of smoke, finally their enemies starting to react in a smarter fashion. Now they were sticking closer together, a few obviously trying to be distractions so they could get to the Vestec. No way.
Sheathing her dagger, she drew the staff that lay across her back, spinning it above her head before cracking it down upon the head of a Deathwalker. Flicking it about, suddenly three blades extended, forming a T shape at the top which she promptly stabbed through the woman's brain. Remaining firmly in front of Amaya, she stabbed forward before spinning, her spear following, the blades briefly glistening with blood before it vanished into ash.
Mayu Nikita Squad 4's Vestec Laughing lightly, Mayu had noticed a street performer in the middle of a square, children gathered around his feet. They were so joyful, their screams of delight echoing in her head though she didn't mind. She liked seeing children happy, no matter what. Even though she said she'd stay close, by now she had accidentally wandered further than she meant to, not quite realizing that now she was closer to HQ. She startled though when she heard a loud clattering that roared to her ears, moving Marianne off to the side as a carriage bombed through the streets. Obviously someone felt all high and mighty here.
Wincing, she patted her mare's neck gently to calm her, rubbing her temples before she slipped off of her horse. The two walked next to each other, gathering stares considering she didn't even need to hold her horse by the neck or anything to lead her on. Let them stare. Holding her head high, the fabric of her clothes stood out brightly in the suns light, the crystals on her necklace glinting as she moved down what obviously was a main street.
Soon she found herself in a market, slowing in her steps as she saw the wide variety of things that were being sold. "Wow...." She whispered, looking at a stand filled with fruits of various shapes and sizes, then another that had some beautiful accessories. Glancing up to her friend, the mare nudged her in it's direction, making her giggle before she moved forward. The woman at the stand greeted her warmly, but then let her be so she could look. There were so many beautiful things here, bracelets, necklaces, rings.... Then Mayu spotted a hair clip that had a few what seemed to be glass flowers and autumn leaves shaped together. Blinking, she was drawn to it, letting a finger roll over it. "Yobsouhl......" She whispered, the woman smiling before beckoning her around to the back with her, picking up the piece.
Hesitantly, she did as she was told, letting the woman pin it up in her hair. Then she vanished for a moment to grab a mirror so Mayu could see what it looked like. Within seconds the woman held up a mirror, Mayu's eyes growing wide as she looked at herself. Her hair was gathered up a little on one side, her one ear visible, the hair clip keeping it in place. The woman said something, but Mayu couldn't understand what she said. It was in a tongue she didn't recognize. But then she made a gesture that said she liked how it looked on her. Smiling brightly, she nodded, turning this way and that to see how the clip looked at different angles. And that was when the woman made another gesture for money.
Now Mayu blinked, biting her lower lip, but she remembered she did have a little on her. The organization didn't pay them too often, but when they did they usually gave them plenty to last for a while. Pulling out some coins, she held them out to the woman, "Is that enough?" She asked, biting her lower lip. The woman counted and nodded to her, a smile growing on her lips as well. She then bowed to the Vestec who was now at a loss, but quickly bowed back in respect.
Then she felt a hand on her shoulder. Startling, she spun around and was met with the stares of two guards, their eyes boring into her. God she felt so exposed when they did that.
"You are to come with us. We have a few Handler's selected for you to try." They said, shooting Marianne a glare when she whinnied and pawed at the ground.
"Ok..." Mayu said softly, walking over to her mare to pet her nose, sliding up onto her back to follow after them. But they stood on either side of her like two imposing walls, leaving her trapped in the middle. She glanced back to the woman who sold her the beautiful pin, giving her a small wave and a half smile. The woman just seemed sort of.... sad. Her expression was hard to describe.
It didn't take long for the trio to reach the headquarters of the Silver Guard, one of the men taking Marianne to the stables while the other led her inside. It was certainly colder inside, leaving Mayu with a slightly unpleasant feeling. She didn't look too closely at anything, feeling a few stares, hearing a few whispers. Soon the two of them reached a room where some boys were lined up, obviously waiting for her to arrive.
Raising her brown eyes up to the guard, he nodded to her, gesturing for her to speak to the old man that was there. He explained the drill as she had heard it before, though obviously abbreviated since this was her second time. Some of the boys there didn't look that old, and some looked a little older than her. Taking a deep breath, she moved forward to the first boy, sensing he was nervous as well. Nothing. From there, she steadily moved down the line, wondering if any of them would become bound to her.(( Lol, it's cool. xDD Mine are long sometimes as you can see. I've got rehearsal at 4-4:50, then another from 5:20-6:50 so I'll be back around 7 or so. >< Sorry!))
 ++Squad 4 Guard: Lux of the White Rose++ The sun rose to meet Lux, who'd awoken in the night and had been unable to fall back asleep. The dreams just wouldn't go away, he'd awoken covered in sweat. After that he had taken a dip in a pre-drawn bath. Now as the sun rose he stared out of the window silently wondering what the day would hold. HE dressed quickly and descended the stair and sat at the bar and ordered a glass of juice, the bartender gave him a strange look an left, returning moments later with a glass of red liquid. Lux placed a gold coin on the bar and took a sip, the ruby liquid coated his throat. for once a contented smile crossed his lips.
