Dawna could hear the hurt, anger and hatred in Silia's voice, and she couldn't say she blamed her. After all, her species had nearly been hunted to extinction, driven to exile on this forgotten island, and now they were being hunted again. "I understand," she said quietly.
"For what it's worth, I never thought dragons were monsters. At least, not as a race. There are plenty of monstrous dragons in stories, of course. But there are even more monstrous humans. I always thought dragons were beautiful. I never dreamed of hurting any but the worst of them. And so far, I haven't seen anything bad about you or Hara."
Hara roared out a string of profanities in draconic that would have made a human sailor blush had they known what she was saying. "You stupid bloody human. Do you honestly think that we would be stupid enough to lead a monster like you to our homes? I never thought humans were very intelligent, but you're apparently dumber than I thought. And as for you hurting me, there's little chance of that. I'd be off this thing in a heart beat if there was the slightest sign of danger."

He simply laughed at her " Monster?" he asked " I don't have a tail or horns and pop out of peoples closet, I'm just the delivery man." he said " And even so, its not like I deliver dragons, I love you guys, ever since I was just a little boy." he said " I mean, I didn't even have to help that dragon escape, I could have just flew into the mainland and let it roar and scream all it wanted, but I don't do that." he looked at it and started " Your right I am very stupid, but at least I'm not here trying to capture you, I'm just curious, I understand that you dragons probably don't trust us." he said " I'm no scientist, or slayer or whatever and the only threat I pose to you is most likely to your quiet afternoons." he kept the plane steady " all I really do is race you guys, no interest in seeing you captured, no interest in seeing you die, I'm very interested in watching you fly." he said. He knew this was getting on where but just like the dragon said, he was an idiot. The plane started to go up as he pulled back the wheel.

Silia smiled a little. "You're a sweet child. I wish more of your species was like you. If there were, then maybe we could all live together in peace." She sighed. "Maybe some day."
She sat quietly for a moment, then she shook it off. "I wonder what's taking Hara. She should have been able to get to her cave by now...." Looking down at Dawna again, a thought occurred to her. "I'm sorry. You must be hungry. There's a nice little berry patch not too far from here. If you want, I can go pick you some. Or if there's anything else I might be able to get you..."
Achiu flinched a bit at the language that Hara was using. 'Not very lady-like,' he mentally chuckled. Not that he could blame her.
Hearing the man's words from inside the ship, Achi growled a sigh and landed next to Hara. Peering down at the man quickly, he growled at the pilot. "Land now. We'll speak then. I won't promise you more than that." He then pulled up so he wasn't blocking the man's view anymore.

He saluted the dragon and began to bring the ship down in a safe area. He thought it was probably just a trick but he didn't really care he'd find them anyway but it was a good thing to talk even if there was another possibility of them roasting him alive or crushing him. He stopped the plane completely and walked out. He stretching and cracked his back " Boy are those chairs uncomfortable, maybe I need to install some new ones." he said to himself as he waited.

Dawna smiled a little at Hara's compliment. "Thank you. And maybe you're right. Maybe we will be able to live together. I mean, you, me and Hara are getting along great so far."
When Silia spoke of Hara, Dawna could sense the tension in the dragon. She leaned back into her, trying to give some comfort to her new friend. When Silia started talking about food, Dawna's stomach grumbled rather audibly. She giggled a bit, blushing. "Maybe a little. Berries actually sound pretty good, thank you." She tipped her head toward where she thought Silia's face was and smiled. "Would you like me to look after the little ones while you're gone?"
Hara growled, smoke starting to come out her nostrils, at the human's sarcasm. "You had best watch yourself, or your curiosity will get you killed. Not all dragons would give you the chance to save yourself."
When Achiu landed beside her, she straightened up and let him have a go at the fool. Apparently, he had more success, since she felt the plane start to go down. Spreading her wings, she jumped off and followed the plane to where it landed and touched down next to it. When the man came out, she made herself look as intimidating as possible. "You had best talk quickly. I'm not in the mood for any foolishness."

Again Thanatos showed no fear of the dragon at all. He really had on fear of anything except for his necklace being broken. He smiled at her " Well, like I said, I'm just the delivery man, I usually take deliveries for anyone, apparently I took the delivery for, I already forgot her name I think it was Maggie Daniel's or something." he said " Your friend just happened to be in the box there, and I decided to help him out." he said " No intention of letting anything happen, but when I landed I decided to go for a little fly down to the cliffs, I saw the green dragon and my curiosity got a hold on me before my sense did, so I started to follow, I honestly had no intentions of doing anything besides following you and then if you went inside or something, I would leave, but these things aren't stealthy like my other ones." he said and shrugged " Really, its just curiosity, I have no evil intentions." he said.

Silia sighed when Dawna leaned into her. It was strange, but that small gesture did make her feel just a little bit better.
When Hara's stomach growled, Silia chuckled. "Alright then. I won't be gone long." She thought about the offer and had to admit, it wasn't entirely a bad idea. "Alright. That would be nice. Thank you." She carefully stood up and reheated the rocks with a gentle hrrr. "Just be careful not to burn yourself. I'd hate to come back and find you more injured." She chuckled and gave Dawna a gentle nudge. "I'll be back in a few minutes. Just take it easy." She went to the entrance and glided down toward the berry patch.
Achiu landed right next to Hara and felt her relax a little. He sighed, some of his own frustration leaving him. "Since you've stuck to the same story, I suppose I can believe you. But we had no idea what your intentions were. We just saw a human flying at us and reacted. If you honestly intend to leave our kind in peace, then we will let you go. Don't make us regret this decision."
He turned to Hara. "Well, shall we continue on, then?"

Dawna could feel Silia relax a bit behind her. 'That's good. I'm glad she feels a little better.'
When she felt Silia begin to shift behind her, she sat up so that she would have an easier time getting up. As she listened to the dragon's movement, she also heard a quiet hrrr and felt even greater heat coming from the direction of the eggs. 'Huh, must be reheating the stones... Neat.'
She laughed back and gave Silia a pat. "Oh, don't worry. I'm used to making my way around a camp, I think I can handle this little area of the cave. See you when you get back."
Hara listened to the story the human told. It seemed a little odd, but not impossible. When Achiu suggested they leave, she gave a little snort in the human's direction, then turned back to Achi. "Alright. It'll only take me a minute to finish my business, then we can go do what we were going to do." She knew it sounded a little convoluted, but she wasn't going to give details around the human. Without another look at him, she turned and headed off through the trees toward her cave.

He shrugged ' I can understand that, you did end up being captured by some humans so I can understand it." he said and simply shrugged " I'll leave you alone and let you fly in peace, you won't see me again." he said and watched the other one leave beacuse got climbed back onto his plane. He started it back up and it only took a few minutes before he took off leaving the dragons. He was usually one to keep his promise and he would try and keep this one best he could though there was always that chance he would end up seeing them again.

Achiu followed Hara into the woods, turning back over his shoulder at the edge of the clearing. "As I said before, if I were you, I would be very careful about approaching other dragons. Not all are so willing to talk." With a small smile, he turned back and continued on.
When they reached her cave, he respectfully stayed outside the entrance. "I am sorry to have caused you any inconvenience. I had no idea that man would follow me. Honestly, I wasn't hardly thinking at all when I escaped. I just knew I had to get away; had to get home. Then I passed out because of whatever drug they shot me with this morning."

Dawna relaxed a bit when she heard Silia leave, stretching out her sore parts carefully. Once she was sufficiently stretched, she smiled and went back over to the eggs. "I can't wait till you're hatched. I hope your mama will let me stay that long. I really like her. She's so nice, and I had no reason to expect anything from her. I mean, me being a human and her being a dragon, and what my kind has done to yours. But I promise that I'll do my best to prove that her trust in me hasn't been misplaced. You'll see."
Hara noticed that Achiu stayed outside when the reached her cave. Shrugging it off, she didn't pursue the matter, knowing they wouldn't be there for too long. It was his decision if he wanted to come in or not.
She listened to his apology and explanation with a bit of a smile. "No need to apologize. I know you didn't intend for that guy to follow you. Just seems like he can't mind his own business. But I guess he was harmless enough. I mean, since you were willing to let him go, I assume he wasn't one of the ones holding you captive."
She went about inside her cave, transforming to her human form so she could use her hands to pack. Taking most of her material possessions and what little supplies she had, she bundled them all up and tied them into a pack that would be easy to carry in her dragon form.
Changing back, she settled the bundle in position and walked back out. "Alright. I've got everything I want. The mountain is this way," she motioned with her head. "I bet you're a little muddled after all that time in a human cage, aren't you? Come on. The sooner we get you back, the better." With a smile, she took off and headed toward the mountain. 'Boy, Lia, I hope you're in for a huge surprise,' she chuckled to herself.

Achiu smiled at how easily Hara brushed off what had happened. She had seemed so annoyed just a few minutes ago....
"No, I never saw that man before I got out of the metal box in his flying machine. As far as I know, everything he told us was true."
He shook his head a little ruefully when she came out, indicated the direction of the mountain, then asked about him being a little muddled. "Yes, just a little. Actually, I'm not so sure how much it has to do with being in that cage for all this time as it does with not knowing where I was when I escaped, and still having little idea where I am."
He took off right behind her. "So, how did you and Silia meet? How long have you known each other, and why are you moving up to the mountain now?"

Hara nodded. "Ok. Like I said, I trust you." She chuckled a little bit. "Yeah, I suppose if anyone was theoretically blindfolded and dropped off in the middle of someplace without any direction, they'd be pretty disoriented. But once you get back to the mountain, you should be able to get yourself straightened out."
His barrage of questions momentarily stunned her. She could feel the blood rushing to her face in the approximation of a blush. It was just slightly embarrassing to admit. "Heh, actually, we just met yesterday evening. I had gone out to the cliffs for a little sun bathing, Silia came down to do a little fishing. I guess she was lonely, spotted me and decided to come over to have a little chat. Umm, a human girl fell from a cliff above us, nearly went into the ocean. Silia saved her, but she got hurt pretty badly; scrapes, nasty broken leg and such. She's also blind. We felt sorry for her, so Silia decided to take her back to your cave. I spent the night to help out a bit, and decided to move up there. She's lonely, I'm lonely, I figured she could use the help....." She shook her head. "Of course, now that you're back, I promise I won't butt in where I'm not wanted."
She looked ahead and saw the mountain just a short distance away and smiled. "I bet you can find your way home from here, huh?"

Achiu was rather surprised to find out that Hara and Silia had just met the day before. Hara must be something else if she was so willing to uproot her life for someone she'd known less than a day.
Then something caught his attention. "Wait, Silia saved a human yesterday? Huh, seems we just can't get away from them can we? But as long as she isn't a trouble maker."
He smiled at her when she mentioned about butting out. "Oh, I'm sure you'll be welcome around our cave when ever. Silia and I are both mature enough to leave our....getting reacquainted... till after you go home for the night."
He looked around and saw that the mountain was just a short distance away from them now. He could see many familiar landmarks now and knew precisely where he was. "Yes. I certainly can." He sped up, flying as fast as he dared over the tops of the trees and toward his home.
It didn't take very long till he was soaring into the entrance of his cave. "Silia! I'm home at last, Love." He looked around, but didn't see Silia anywhere.
Instead, he saw a human girl in the back of the cave with what appeared to be two dragon eggs. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Hara chuckled a bit. "Oh, I wouldn't worry about Dawna. She seems to be a rather sweet girl. And for right now, at least, she's no match for any of us."
She laughed at his comment about he and Silia getting reacquainted. 'Oh brother. Just you wait till you find out, Daddy.' But she didn't have time to say anything else before he took off like a shot. She followed as quickly as she could, landing just a minute behind him.
She could almost sense the tension in the cave. "Achiu, it's alright. This is Dawna, the girl I was telling you about. Dawna, this is Achiu, Silia's mate."
Dawna was just sitting there, feeling the light thumps in the eggs and listening to the quiet sounds coming from them when she heard the leathery flap of dragon wings at the entrance of the cave. At first, she thought it was Silia returning with the berries, but she quickly learned she was wrong when she heard a loud male voice calling for Silia.
She knew that in almost every case with animals, the males were just a vicious if not more so than the females, so she was terrified. Had her leg not been broken, she probably would have tried to run to the back of the cave. As it was, she pressed herself back as close as she dared to the eggs without harming them or burning herself on the hot rocks.
Before she could calm down enough to answer him, she heard a second dragon enter, then Hara's voice answer. She was so relieved to hear the familiar voice. She was slightly surprised when Hara introduced the male, but relaxed quite a bit. If this really was him, chances were good that she was safe. "Achiu? Really? Wow, that's totally amazing! Oh, you have no idea how happy Silia will be when she gets back. She just went down the mountain to pick some berries for breakfast. She left me here to take care of the children." She smiled and patted the eggs.
