Valheita Fear not, good zOMG! players. I am alive. Shaken, but alive. For those of you who saw the news about the Canterbury quake, and realised I live in Canterbury. Had I heard anything at all about an earthquake, I promise I would've been worried sick. Can I fret retroactively? gonk
And I find myself seconding a lot of Quintafeira's notions, lately - is everything alright? I'm assuming nothing directly related to you is too dire, or you wouldn't bother stopping in here, but I have to ask... sweatdrop

We lost our chimney, but fortunately it fell away from the house so nothing inside appears to be damaged. Quintafeira12 I've heard. Seen two news on the day itself, one claiming Magnitude 5 and the other Magnitude 6. I'm willing to believe the later. Death reports and damage to Buildings. Not exactly the happiest of scenarios. Where were you when it happened? And are your family and friends all okay? The main shock was 6.3, and located only 5km down. So it hit pretty damn hard. I was at home, about 5km from the destruction you're seeing on TV. Friends are okay, and family is in a different town so they're fine.

Just seen it in the news. It looks bad alright.
Still, it's a good thing you're alright, even if it's just physical.

Glad to hear you're safe, Val. Earthquakes are pretty rough. Take it from a former Californian.

Don't worry, you were insane all along :3
Glad to hear you and all those you cherish are alright. Hearing the news raised a flag in my head, but wasn't sure this was your town.
Please, wear an helmet in case of aftershocks. Also, stuff some tinfoil in there to avoid abduction by the ancient aliens that were hidden underground but now walk the earth.

Hmmm...
To point out this guild to the devs at a dev meet or not.
...
Ah, I'll wait till we have more people. Bron is here already anyways, he'll get announcements if we do any.
*edit*: Myrielle was the fastest invite-to-reply-on-non-introductions-thread user I've seen so far.

Bron is here already anyways, he'll get announcements if we do any. *edit*: Myrielle was the fastest invite-to-reply-on-non-introductions-thread user I've seen so far. Did I neglect to mention that I PM'd [ JK ]? eek He does know about the Guild, and he said he was interested to see how it pans out. He also said he'd stop by once we got things going - which, as you said, probably just means expanding a little. sweatdrop
It is convenient that someone will see the announcements, if we wind up making them, but if that's not enough I can always throw another PM at [ JK ]. He hasn't seemed to mind me badgering him thus far, so here's hoping his good nature is at least as durable as my potential for irritation... whee

O: Maybe? At least you're not listening to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLj2ZUbP1EwIf I know animation though, then I'd be trying to make zOMG monsters rather than animate my own stories. rofl I just wonder. With that zOMG wallpaper with Butterfinger Bart dancing with Sand Golems and Sea Spouts, do you think we can have that kind of show on Buccaneer Boardwalk? o3o *will link if asked to do so*

EDIT: I always forget to include an actual response. sweatdrop
I don't know anything about animating, either - and I've only been playing Inkscape for about a week now. I really wish I had Flash, so that I could try animating something, but that's marginally outside my budget right now. whee I suppose I could make the vectors, convert the vectors to gifs, then attempt to assemble gif animations, but that seems like a lot of extra hassle for a considerably lower-quality result...

Yep. x3 EDIT: I got to play with inkscape too, and it's a really great tool. :3 Well, we can always try our best still to help our dear developers. wink
