Calder though something had crashed or fallen to pieces, and wondered if a dresser fell on Riley. Wishful thinking as it was, Christof rushed in to crush his hopes. Instead, there was just a lot of glass and ...no Riley? Did she fall out of the window? WOW! Calder was really starting to wonder if people should just keep to ground level now. That would have made the second accident to happen from falling out of a window, but as Christof looked over, he no longer seemed alarmed. In fact, he seemed to be rather okay with ...whatever was going on and walked past.

Interested, Calder tiptoes his hooves over to the window to see.

Oh, HO, WOW!

He had heard these two were together on groanspring, but really? REALLY MALODORE?!

For whatever strange reason, these two were really into each other, clear from how they were pressed into each other. Had Riley jumped out of a closed window to see him?! DAMN THAT GHOUL WAS HOOKED! It was actually sorta nice to know she had a small heart inside all that aggravating perfectionist, had-to-have-it-her-way, better than everyone, attitude of hers.

Well, this was all rather touching, and while Christof had the decency to let them have their moment - this was Calder.

Pressing his fingers into his mouth, he gave a loud whistle. "HEY RILEY! Should we leave so you two can have fun in your bedroom or would you rather just go at him on the lawn?!"

Riley's eyes crinkled in amusement at Malodore's usual response, and would have probably given it something further to respond about, if she didn't hear Christof's voice coming from the window. It didn't phase her, but she did turn her head up to look at him.

Are you dressed yet? She asked, in an affectionately irritated tone. Her affection disappeared when she saw Calder however, and his inappropriate comment had her finally disentangling herself from Malodore.

No. She called back. I was thinking we'd head over to your dorm instead. Hope you don't mind! Was she .. being funny with Calder? What is this, I don't even.

She curled her fingers around Malodore's hand, and tugged it softly forward. Come on, she whispered as she lead it around to the entryway of the dorm. I have something I want to give you before we go.

Malodore blinked up at Calder - Calder?! In Riley's room? Why!? Perhaps it was actually still asleep and this was all some bizarre dream.

Though it rather hoped not. It allowed Riley to tug it along, wincing a bit as it crunched another stray Icky Stix under one hoof. "I, ah... am sorry about destroying your property, though. I had to think quickly and... getting the toxin away from you was all I could think of...."

Riley was touched that Malodore still felt the need to apologize for it's actions, but she had come to some very strong conclusions in the last few days. She stopped walking, and turned to face him. In an abrupt and unexpected action, she closed her eyes and leaned in slightly, sending him her own version of a kiss.

It doesn't matter anymore. She whispered, and her eyes opened. But thank you.

She said nothing more on it just yet, instead choosing to continue to lead it in the dorm. She opened her door, and looked around for her other guests. She could tell they were still in the study, but hesitated to return to them. She.. kind of liked it here. Alone. With Malodore. Still, she'd have to get through them to get to her bedroom. Why was she hosting a boy's club, again?

Morri had been looking forward to this day though perhaps not for the same reasons most ghouls would. Christof's text didn't warrant a reply. It had simply asked her to meet up at Riley's dorm room which was easy enough. They shared the same dorm afterall. She had pocketed her pink skull shaped skelephone inside her beloved Mimic and set to the task of getting ready.

Her dress was a simple one. It fell mid thigh, showing off her long slender legs. It was black on the sides and zipped down the middle, where the fabric took on a plaid color, similar to the shade of her hair and much like the skirts she loved. She wore her trademark long stockings and a pair of magenta heels to top it off. She left her hair down, preferring it loose and around her shoulders. Her makeup had been done earlier that day so a few touchups did the trick.

"Don't fall too far behind," she stated and the Mimic bounced up and down in response. The warning really wasn't necessary as he never liked to be far from his mistress. She locked the door behind her and tossed her key into the air. Without missing a beat, Mimic jumped up to catch it in his mouth, storing it deep within. It didn't take her long to reach Riley's door.

Knock Knock

It would be interesting to see how this played out.

Wait. Did Riley have a sense of humor. ....that was weird.

As the odd pair went around the building, Calder moved out of the room and headed back out to see Christof done being dressed, slipping on his jacket. "Wow. You look tops. Still need to fix your hair. Now...." He looked around before spotting the bag of stuff that seemed to be what Christof stole from his room. Reaching in, he shoved the box of hair decorations aside, various other kelpie ornaments for his hair and ear, and found the Glim-o. Taking it, he also took the ornate brush from inside the bag, a herd of horses running over crashing waves of water, and came to him to fix his hair a bit. Slopping would not do for a ghoul that the Igor hoped to make out with and bring home.

Letting Christof sit, he worked his hair as best he could, not used to working on such short hair, and combed it out, letting it be flat, and then pulling it back. The Glim-o let it keep in place but allowed bounce and movement without making the Igor's hair a shell or just looking greasy.

All but finished, there came a knock at the door and Calder stopped. "Who's that?" He wondered, and then remembered what Riley said about a date.

Oh wait...........he had to go to this dance with someone. "Uh...you open it, Christof. I'm sure it's for you."

"Mith Morrigan!" Christof breathed, practically leaping from the chair the Kelpie had pushed him into, grabbing his jacket as he pulled it on carefully. Calder had already commented, but in his panic, he tried to straighten as much as he could, although still he felt lumpy and.... out of place in the new clothes, "Do I look alright? Will she like it??" He managed, practically wobbling.

Aww. Christof was cute when he flustered, and not in the 'my brain is going to explode' sort of way when he couldn't decide what to do and thought his master would smite him from whatever abyss the owner currently was in. Putting the container of Glim-o and the brush aside, he nodded. "Yes. Yes. You look great. Now open the door. Never keep a ghoul waiting. Their impatient like Riley." He said, smiling as he watched the Igor go. With everyone coming by, he was suddenly getting a tad, wee, smidge, little-tiny-bit, nervous about whoever he was taking.

The hunchback positively beamed at the kelpie, flashing all of his remaining, rotten teeth before lurching for the door, opening it up a crack to see a flash of magenta and... and.... oh boy. It was her. Oh... oh HELL'S BELLS he left his new scarf on the chair but... but... but he wasn't going to have a working mouth much longer, as far as he could fathom, where was the harm in.... in... possibly getting a kiss? Swallowing deeply, he opened it the rest of the way, positively trembling in his leather and Kelpie-approved Dance wear.

But... what did you say?? Drawing a blank on greetings, he simply... boggled, agape at that tiny little dress with it's easy access zipper and low low cuts and.... Hell's bells. He was starting to get the feeling perhaps he had bitten off a bit more than he could chew.

Malodore allowed itself to be lead into Riley's dorm room, all anxiousness replaced by a sense of relief and contentment - she'd even 'kissed' it again! It seemed all was well now, though it wasn't entirely sure what had gotten her from Point A (running ferally into the forest after destroying her room) to Point B (dressed rather beautifully in red and 'kissing' it). Whatever had happened, though... it was grateful for it.

It turned its head at the knock, too, and watched both Christof and Calder zoom past them. ... dare I ask why Calder is here? it thought at her. Handy, having a means of completely private communication. Along with the thought came a sense of vague confusion, and a few memories of their behavior in literature class from Malodore's point of view.

The knock provided a rather perfectly timed distraction, as she managed to continue leading Malodore through while Christof and Calder busied themselves with their new guest. That was.. fortunate. She stayed in the living room for just enough time to see Christof open the door for Morrigan, before leading Malodore back to her bedroom.

She let it's hand go once they were in the room, and closed the door behind her. Her expression was no longer dopey, but determined - and just a little nervous.

I.. I didn't think you'd come. She started off choppily, and grabbed onto the easier subject of Calder before tackling what she really needed to say. Oh. Calder. Right.. would you believe I'm setting him up on a date? She chuckled anxiously.

If Malodore had eyebrows, it would have raised one at that - as it was, it merely tilted its head to one side quizzically. "Ah... I see...?" It wasn't sure whether poor Calder was an appropriate response or not, but... really, was Calder the most important thing right now?

Not even close.

"I... wasn't sure you'd come back here, at all," Malodore said, looking down. "I saw you run, I... helped tear up the room a little more after you left." It jerked one claw at the gouges in the windowsill.

"Hey Patches," she greeted and hip bumped the door open. No need waiting for an official invite. Wasn't the text invite enough? "Nice jacket," she complimented as she walked past, head bobbing approvingly while she ruffled his hair. It was definitely an improvement over his usual outfit and he was charming in his own creepy psycho way. He was like a zit. Sorta grew on you. Okay, maybe not the best analogy.

There were several others in the room and that made her a little uncomfortable but eh, it just further proved that this would be a night of surprises and she was really interested to see how it played out. "Hello," she stated, wishing she had something cooler to say but really, what do you say to a room full of boils and ghouls, most of which you don't know well, if at all?

She watched as two of them walked away to the bedroom. Wasn't that supposed to happen after you get wasted at a party?

The message she received had made the Reaper quite a mess of feelings. She hadn't even replied to the message, making sure to leave some sort of escape possible. Secret admirer. It was something that she had only ever "personally" experienced in some magazines she scanned through.

First, Colette had contemplated whether she should go or not and, figuring it pretty mean not to, decided it would be good to go. After all, it was that or sitting alone. Which then brought on the task of figuring out what to wear for her secret admirer, and it took her Jack knows how long to finally throw together pieces of her Culture & Etiquette wear with she wore normally into one final outfit. Some make up and perfume were in order as well, or so she assumed from another one of those magazines. Surprisingly, she left her swords at home. Even if she loved them so, a dance was probably not the right place to haul them around.

As Colette navigated the Demon dorm's halls, the only thing she could think of was who her "secret admirer" could be and what she was supposed to do in order to be a good escort to the dance. It didn't take her too long to arrive at the designated room either, save a mishap at what she assumed to be a completely unoccupied room, and Colette felt her stomach start to ache as she neared the door.

Oh Jack, maybe I could just run.. But she didn't. No matter how much her head said to just go, her legs took the last few steps needed to the doorway her "secret admirer".

"Er.. 'Riley's' room?" she timidly asked, not even looking at whom was by the door and instead fixing her eyes on the floor.

Riley briefly remembered noticing the clawmarks earlier, and took a few steps toward the window to take a closer look. Her finger brushed against them, picturing it making the marks, and she let out a long sigh.

I know my actions lately have been less than ideal. She murmured low, while still facing the window. I never meant to make you suffer. Her head turned just slightly, so that the side of it was visible, but her eyes remained cast down and away. I came to the conclusion that you were better off without me. There was only one problem. Her eyes lifted to look up at him. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. It's hard to give that up.

She turned fully, and rested back on the open windowsill. This is your one chance, Malodore. Her voice was steady, despite the ache in her heart. If you want to leave, I won't stop you. And I won't blame you. You'd be better off.
