She took his hand and stood. "I'm not a spy. I swear." She walked towards the window and looked out at the depressing world she was in. She turned back to face him. "Please Riku." She walked towards him, desperation in her eyes. "Explain what's happening to me. I see you every night, yet you say you don't know me. And who is Alexandria?"

Riku wasn't sure if he should believe her. She was the Lord's daughter, after all. "I have no idea where you're getting that we meet every night!" he took a step back. "Alexandria is a friend of mine who visits me every night. She should be here any minute."

Riku sighed. "I suppose. I'll just make Leighton stay out of here for awhile longer." He offered his bed to her for her to wait on. He sat on Leighton's bed and rubbed the blood away from his cheek again. He picked out more thorns.

Langkston sat on the bed and watched, out the corner of her eyes, Riku. He was fascinating. All demons were fascinating to Langkston in their own way. Minutes passed, then minutes turned to hours. Langkston began to become drowsy and without knowing it she fell asleep.
Not long after did Alexandria make her way in. She stopped in the open doorway and stared at Langkston. "Riku. What is an angel doing in here?"

Riku's head shot up as he heard the door open. "Alexandria!" he turned to Langkston, realizing she was asleep. He stood and gently shook her shoulder. "Hey, wake up, princess."

Langkston awoke startled by his shaking. "Yes, Riku?" she said in between a yawn.
Alexandria disappeared as soon as Langkston woke up

"She's here." he said. He looked back up to Alexandria. "What?! She was just right there! Why does she always vanish like that?!" Riku ruffled his brown hair in irritation. "She was just there, I swear."

Langkston rubbed her eyes, dazed. "How could she be here, then just disappear?"

"I don't know but she was standing right there! But when you woke up she disappeared!" he raised his voice and his eyes turned red again. He was so frustrated. He didn't want Leighton to walk in and see him with her. But he still wanted her to stay for some reason.

Langkston rubbed her eyes wearily. "That doesn't make sense Riku. You would've heard her leave... I'm going back to bed." She laid her head back down on the pillow and drifted off into a half awake, half asleep state

Riku thoroughly rubbed his eyes in irritation, his red veins showing. He ran his hand through his hair as he opened the door. Alexandria wasn't there. He grunted and sat on the bed. The door stayed open, a cool night breeze dancing into the cottage.

Alexandria peeked her head into the doorway, glancing right at Langkston. "She...she looks so familiar.."

Riku gave her a puzzled look. "Do you know her?" he asked as he stood to give Alexandria a hug. "And where did you go a second ago? You just left without even saying good bye like you always do." he commented.

Alexandria sighed. "Sit down." she sat on the couch and patted the spot beside her. "There's something I think you should know about me. I trust you enough to tell you without being called crazy."
