Justin smiled. "I enjoyed hanging out with you too, Keiko." He said kindly. He noticed her face turning pink again, and couldn't help but find it cute. However, something else occupied his mind.....his hunger for chocolate.

Tamara continued her grinning and Keiko continued blushing. She kicked Tamara under the table, but she did not flinch; being a half-vampire had its perks. Yuki rested her hand on Keiko's lap and Keiko felt a calming sensation come over her. She would not let Tamara's teasing get to her. In practically no time at all the waitress came back with everyone's food. "Another reason why I like this place is the fast service," Keiko told Justin after the waitress walked away. She reached for the syrup and drowned her pancakes before picking up her silverware to cut them up.

Justin grinned widely, gazing upon his pancakes and chocolate milk. "I've gotta agree with you on that one." He said happily, taking a sip of his milk.

Keiko took a bite of her pancakes and closed her eyes. They were so warm and so delicious. She smiled and continued eating, glad that her new friend was enjoying himself. "So... do you have any favorite restaurants?"

Justin nodded. "Yeah. There's this old steakhouse that my cousin runs; I gotta say, he is an AMAZING cook!" He said, remembering the awesome flavor of barbecue ribs.

"Mmm... steak is so good!" Keiko said before taking another bite from her pancakes. She took a sip of her milk, set her glass down, and stared at it for a moment. Yuki and Tamara seemed to be enjoying themselves chatting it up with Kain and Takashi. Keiko smiled. Were the three musketeers adding members? She looked up at Justin and caught him looking at her. "How's your food?"

Justin smiled, taking a bite of his pancakes. He closed his eyes, enjoying the soft, warm feel. "It's awesome!" He said, after swallowing.

"Good," Keiko said with a smile, still holding on to her glass. She felt as though she was running out of things to say, so she returned to eating her pancakes and started listening to what her friends were talking about.

Justin smiled, continuing to eat his pancakes. He then took another sip of chocolate milk. Justin was glad to have shared this night with Keiko. He made a great friend, and helped her open up. It was a win win!

Keiko smiled when Yuki suggested that the six of them get together again. "I'd like that," Keiko said, glancing over at Justin. She did not want to miss out on continuing their new-found friendship. She turned a little pink again as she thought about that and stared down at her plate as she cut up the last of her pancakes.

Justin smiled at Keiko. "I'd like that, too." He said. Having a friend like Keiko was really fun. The girl was incredibly nice, a bit more outgoing now, and seeing her turn pink was freaking adorable, for some reason.

Keiko finished her pancakes first and sat silently, waiting for everyone else to finish. Once everyone's bills were paid, the six of them stood outside the restaurant. The boys' school was on the other side of town, so Keiko figured they probably lived near there. "I guess this is goodbye?" Keiko asked with a hint of sadness in her voice. "I had a really great night, Justin. And I want to thank you so much for making that possible." She smiled softly before giving Justin a quick hug.

Justin smiled at Keiko, quickly hugging her back. "No problem. And, it's only goodbye for NOW. We might end up meeting again." He told her. He didn't want to leave, but all good things must come to an end. That way, something even better might come along.

"I hope so," Keiko said with a smile. She, Yuki, and Tamara waved at the boys before heading in the direction of Tamara's house. When they were out of earshot Yuki and Tamara bombarded Keiko with questions. "Yeah, I like him," Keiko said, answering one of their questions. "But do you like him like him?" Tamara asked with her mischievous grin. Keiko blushed. "It's way too soon to be thinking about that..." Tamara kept pestering, but Yuki eventually got her to stop. Do I like him? Keiko thought as her friends whispered excitedly with each other.

Justin, Kain and Takeshi began their walk back home. Justin started thinking about Keiko. She was beautiful, nice, and she was a great musician. However, part of his brain kinda wanted more, even if it was WAY too soon to think this kinda stuff.
