Call me RoseyJoy XD (or Rose or Rosey or RJ)
I was born in the USA, raised by my parents and grandparents who all moved here from Korea.
I'm old (just think of me as 102 years old) compared to most people here. ^^
And it's very nice to meet all of you. smile
old huh...how old?

whee You don't ask a woman her age. ;P She has to volunteer it. xd

I'm a very private person; so, I will say that I am in my 20s. On the forum where I am most active, everyone knows I am 102. wink (Some people almost believe me too. sweatdrop )
ah ic. well if ur under 26, u'll only be the oldest female

Yes, I am under 26, but not by much. Unfortunately, people think I'm in my teens. Just recently, a group of Korean high schoolers tried to befriend me... that is before they realized I was quite older than them. Then they called me Nuna and Uhnni and seemed a bit more intimidated.

Kuramaru Katou
Annyonghaseyo! (did I spell that right? sweatdrop )

My name is Jonathan. I'm not Korean, but I lived with my Korean "older brothers" for quite a while. And I was an ESL teacher in an ESL Institution for Koreans in the Philippines.

age: 20
Nationality: Black
Nickname: Joe.
Born in Sacramento, California. Moved to Baguio City, Philippines when I was 10. Lived there 'till I turned 19. Currently lives back in Sacramento. sweatdrop

I'm a fan of Drunken Tiger, 1TYM, Epik Hi, DJ DOC, Honey Family, Lee Ssang, Steven Yu(plz don't hate me.), Dynamic Duo, Lee Hyori, Cherry Filter, B612 (Namane Kude Mosup)..... Okay, too much info.

I like the Korean people because they are really kind and friendly, and they respect me for who I am, and they treat me like family when I was away from my real family. Really cool people. 3nodding

Yeah! I wish I had more oppa-duel while I was growing up. My Uhnni's are really kind to me, but I hardly know any Oppa's. D:

CrimsonGENE
Name: Kim Dong Hyun <-- Yeah, I know WTF | Old name was Kim Jun
Age: 13
I was born in Philadelphia (Random, yes), then I moved to America. I didn't get very interested in my culture at first, but I slowly did. I visited Korea three years ago, and that's when I simply wanted to learn more about my culture.

You were born in the USA, and then came back?

whee You can ask them. as long as they're not busy and you are polite, I'm sure they'd like to teahc you a phrase or two. If you make friends with a Korean person your own age, they might teach you some more ... uh ... colorful Korean. wink

Korean name: Soo Kyung
American name: Sarah (ugh...)

I'll be sixteen in December, I was born in Incheon, South Korea but was I never knew my birthparents (that's what I have no last Korean name, the Adoption Agency gave me "Lim" though). I lived with a foster mother for six months before coming to America. These past two years I've finally warmed back up to Korea (long-ish story) and want to learn more about the culture. Unfortunately, none of the Asian American kids at my school talk to me. I live in Akron, Ohio as of now and I've been dying to go back to Korea. I've also been trying to search for my birthparents but that isn't going very well.
