Faith stared out to the window, "There is someone looking for you. Have you already seen him? He seems to be very anxious to bring you back to your real self."

Ari nodded, looking down at the stone floor. She could still see Ryn in that room facing off against the ruler of the land.

The spirit gave a wan smile, wishing that she could remember exactly who Ryn was and how she knew him. Try as she might though, every time she made an effort to think back, a sharp pain stopped her.

"What has the vampire lord done to you?" Faith looked at her. She could do nothing to help her pain. "Is he the reason why you are in this state?"

The spirit shook her head sadly, not able to recall much of anything. She placed a hand to her heart and pointed to the room's far wall.

Ari shifted uncomfortably knowing that the advice was wise, but she did not want to just hide away. Her form flickered slightly as she struggled to remain visible.

The spirit couldn't agree more. The color of freshly spilled blood remained one of the only clear things in her mind. The light from the bloody moon only served as a constant reminder in this dark land. Floating over beside the woman, she peered down into the blackness as well.

"You know..." Faith looked at the crimson moon and then back at the spirit. "The lord and I had a conversation about why the moon was red."
Faith closes her eyes to remember the exact words he spoke and how his words just gently float into her ears, "He had said it reflected the land's state of mind or it is because the monster that was slain on the moon left a stain. I countered that it may be the reflection of one's heart. He seemed very appeased with that theory."
Faith looked back at the moon, "What do you think? Violence or reflection of one's heart?"

She shifted her gaze back up to take in the scarlet orb overhead. It was an interesting question. What if violence was in a person's heart? Would the moon begin to drip blood? She shuddered at the thought. Looking closely though, she could see a resemblance to the glow of all the crystals in that strange room. She wondered if there could be some connection to those.
