Will nodded slowly, perhaps understanding to a degree how Faleen felt about her dark types. "I guess some types just... click with some people. There's a lot of trainers out there, and good ones, that prefer a certain type. Gym leaders and so on."
He continued to walk with Faleen, not really feeling it necessary to keep a close eye on Kobashi.
Thus, he was surprised when the fire puppy came running back with a stick. The pup happily wagging her tail. Look what she found!

She nodded and smiled a bit, eyebrows raising when Komashi brought a stick back over to Will, indicating that she wanted to play with Will. She couldn't help a small laugh at this, the large poofy tail of the Growlithe definitely showing the pup's excitement.
She shifted through the pokeball in her pocket, Faleen picked out another dark ball, and tossing it to let a large Absol. He was caught wild, so he had a much bigger appreciation for being in the outdoors then her Umbreon did, who had been trained by humans from the day he hatched.
Absol blinked his eyes, annoyed with the light for a moment, before he adjusted and looked around, snorting softly before he lowered his head and rubbed the curved horn over his head against the grass.

"Ah, so you wanna fetch, eh?" Will grinned and bent down to take the stick from Komashi. She growled playfully and did a little tug-o-war with him before finally letting go.
"All right... go get it!" Will shouted as he then reeled back his arm and then threw the stick.
"Row rowl!" Komashi barked as she went running after it.

"She's playful" Faleen said, stepping over and watching the Growlithe take off after the stick.
Absol himself has seen the Growlithe running off to chase a stick, his dark eyes blinking as he lowered his head, dropping down onto his elbows, in an almost predatory manner, watching the running fire type.

"Definitely seems that way," Will agreed, watching as the stick bounced around in the grass before it was snatched up by the Growlithe. She came running back joyfully, ready to do it all over again!
The man gave a glance to Umbreon and Absol, both of which were dog-like Pokemon. "Doesn't seem like either of yours are all that interested though." Many dark Pokemon seemed to be rather... broody.

She replied first by shaking her head, looking over at Absol who was watching the Growlithe closely. "Absol's more active, he's still got this hunting mentality. But its also day time, they're much more inclined to do more when its night" she added followed by a grin. "Umbreon especially during a full moon"

"Makes sense," Will replied as he stooped down to take the stick from the Growlithe again. Again he gave the twig a good toss, sending it careening in another direction. Predictably, Komashi went running after it again in her glee.
He had never seen Faleen's Absol before. It looked normal enough, save for its eyes. "I have to admit, I feel more comfortable in the dark myself. With my eyes and all."

Considering what she had learned about his eyes during the car ride, the fact that he was more comfortable in the dark made sense. "Its quiet, and calming" she nodded in agreement, watching Komashi running after the stick again. "I'm usually up late, so I spend a lot of times at night."
When the Growlithe took off again, Absol pushed himself back to his claws, and trotting over toward the nearest bush hunkering down by it.

"Same for me, but that's because I work the late shift." Will then paused as he watched the Absol, looking between it and his new Pokemon.
"Is your... Absol stalking Komashi?" Hopefully it didn't actually intend to harm the Growlithe. This said as she came running back with the stick again.

Faleen moved her gaze over to Absol when Will asked that, staring at his posture for a moment furrowing her brow. "Yeah, looks like it... Absol" she spoke his name in a more firm tone to get the pokemon's attention. And get his attention it did, the dark pokemon dropped back onto his elbows and turned around to look back at his master, dark eyes blinking.
"Ab..." He blinked, wondering why she called him, but figured it had to do with the actions he was taking.
"He won't do anything." she reassured Will "He knows better, he's just being a bully." She watched him though as the growlithe ran past him, finishing off her coffee and throwing it into the closest trash set up in the park. Absol pouted at her as she went, pushing himself back to his feet and watching her with a soft disappointed frown.

Will smirked at the Absol's reaction and Faleen's words. "Ah, well I know all about bully Pokemon."
Komashi was yapping again to get Will's attention, who took the stick from her and threw it yet again. He was starting to think that he'd get tired of this long before the Growlithe would. He didn't even watch this time as she ran after it.
"He's a very regal Pokemon," Will then commented, referring to Absol. "How did you get him?"

Faleen gave a knowing grin, very aware of Will's experience with bully pokemon. At the complement to her Absol though, her shoulders seemed to raise a bit, her smile more genuine. It pleased her that he saw the same thing she did, the creature, so long, slim, the way he moved was strong and silent, traits from his life in the wild. and his gaze was enchanting and terrifying to her. Absol was certainly a regal pokemon. "Thank you," she replied, putting her hands into her pocket once again, pulling out a couple more of the balls in there to play with them absently. "I was on snow peak... sometime around spring last year, I was on a grunt work mission with another Rocket, we were there for sometime over a week, and while at camp he started coming around." she indicated toward Absol. "For no good intent either, stealing from us, and I'm sure he wouldn't have minded hunting our pokemon. Once our mission objective was accomplished, I went out the night before we headed back to the HQ with Umbreon to capture him. He gave us quite the challenge though, I thought I might die up there in the snow at one point."
Umbreon ear twitched when she spoke about the night they caught Absol, remembering the fight well, his own gaze turned toward Absol, his team mate. "Breon" he chimed into Faleen's story.
"He's been useful to my party ever since" Her eyes found Komashi, watching her running after the stick once again.

Will listened quietly to the story, the corner of his mouth turning upward just slightly. His gaze only strayed from Faleen when Komashi came bounding back with the stick yet again. He took it from her, but paused thoughtfully for a moment.
"Its experiences like that, that truly bond a person with a Pokemon, I think."
He said softly, before turning and heaving the stick yet again. Sending the Growlithe charging off once more.

"It made him more willing to respect me, thats for sure" she nodded in agreement. Had he wanted to, he could still be giving her a lot of difficulty, but they had worked out an understanding with one another very quickly, he gave her little trouble. "It did, it was worth it" she grinned again, letting Absol sniff around, curious about the human made nature.
"I'm certain you and Azrael will reach that point as well."

"We'll see," Will replied with a wane smile. The Charizard was definitely a handful, that was certain. "And if I can get there with Azrael, I'm sure you'll be able to with your Charmeleon as well." Although he couldn't help a small sigh.
Yet again the Growlithe came back and Will took the stick. "All right, one more Komashi. My arm's getting tired." The man said with a chuckle before throwing the stick again.
