Cody barely resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "Well, I'm here to make sure that she's okay. She is a good friend of my sisters and Amelia can't stay here, she has first years to teach. Jasmine wasn't there when it happened, so I am here to make sure that Helena's okay."

The headmistress shot a look at Helena. "Are you raising your voice at me?"(I'm trying to go for a snapeish kind of thing)

"No Headmistress," Helena bowed her head. She didn't want her permission to go to the gardens at night taken away from her.

Cody just stood there nervously, biting back a comment about how if they were Slytherins, than she wouldn't be messing with them like this.

"Well carry on... BUT!" she was about to turn away but turned back around, sticking a pointy finger at them. "If either of you mess up again your privileges to go out to the gardens at night will be taken away for the rest... of the school year."

Helena put her hands on Cody's shoulders. She leaned forward and said into his ear with a hushed voice "Why did you lie to her?"

Cody took a deep breath and whispered back "Because I didn't want to see anyone get in trouble today, plus, I'd bet that if we were Slytherins, she'd leave us alone."

Helena rested her chin on his shoulder. "I mean about why I'm here, you wouldn't have gotten in trouble. I would've. So why did it matter to you?" She asked again.
