Meanwhile, Dee went over to the carpenter's place and said hi to Woody. She asked him if Kurt was in the mine as usual, but Woody shook his head. He said to her, "I'm afraid I have some bad news, your highness. Kurt died just last week."
"What?!" Dee exclaimed, "What happened, Woody? How did Kurt die?"
Woody smiled softly, but not in the way that it was intended on a happy moment. He replied, "No need to be all upset, Dee. He just spent too much time in the mine this past winter and by the time Tim found him since I was worried about him, it was too late. He made it to floor 90, but didn't get any farther than that, I'm afraid."
"So, is that why Joe isn't here right now too?" Dee asked next.
This time Woody laughed, "Goodness me, no! Joe's just fine. He's fishing with Ray right now. I am surprised you didn't see him on your way here."
"He must be off the coast. Oh, do you know where I might find Keitaro?"
"He should be tending to his animals or his crops. Really, Dee...you have got to be around here more often and I cannot be expected to know everything."
Dee smiled and said, "Of course. Oh, and one last thing...Rock Howard might become a new resident here. So, if he comes by, don't mention me. He's...kinda like Kurt was. Cold hearted."
Woody smiled, "I will keep that in mind. Take care Dee."
Dee left for Keitaro's little ranch near the center of town. She could hear the moos of the three cows that Keitaro tended to. Then she heard the bleats of the 4 sheep. Shockingly, she did not hear the horse, nor the chickens. She took a peek inside of the level 2 barn and saw that the horse was not in there nor was Keitaro.
She took a peek inside of the chicken coop next and saw that the hens were sleeping. But, again, no Keitaro. She took a stroll down the dusty roads waving to everyone she knew and knowing that Rock was going to try his best to avoid her. She saw that the animals had been tended to already though.
So, she took a look at where Keitaro had his summer crops growing. Corn, tomatoes, and onions. She saw that some of the corn was ready, so she waited a bit to see if Keitaro was just taking his full rucksack and dumping the crops in the shipping bins by his house on the beach. She waited for 2 hours and never saw him. So, she helped pick the ready corn and stored half of it in the windmill for bird feed and the other half, she placed in the barn's shipping bin. She looked at her watch and knew what might have happened. "Festival...I knew it. But, why was Woody's place open? Oh...hang on...its summer day 9. That means Keitaro must be in the square waiting on Nina."
Having been satisfied, she chilled in the barn for a while, petting the sheep since they were her favorites. She liked how Keitaro named them after toilet paper brands. Cottonelle, Charmin, and Royale. The only one not named after that stuff was Gaara. She stroked Gaara under the chin only to get a face full of sand.
"Oh my," Dee said, "So that is you Gaara of the Sand. The Kazekage of the sand village. What warlock did this to you, I wonder?"

Gaara merely bleated to say, "Don't ask. Its embarrassing enough having to be a sheep!"
A cow named Parmasean mooed, which thanks to Dee's translator, she said, "By the way, who is that new blond in town? I'd rather he milk me than Keitaro. Keitaro's been rather rough lately."
Dee giggled, "Oh, that's Rock Howard. I dunno if he would though. He doesn't like my family very much. But...I guess that's just how it is since Rock has been an only child for at least 6 years before his younger half-brother Link came along and with Link, I had Ochru whom is the father to Keitaro."
Charmin was the next to speak. She said, "So, Ochru is technically our grand-daddy? I mean...for a humanoid."
Dee nodded. She said, "Well, its been fun you guys. I had better see where Rock is speaking of. You animals be good for Keitaro when he returns."

Rock was looking at the pond. He had wandered all over the village and just wasn't feeling it. He was a city boy and the farm life just seemed too slow for him. Seeing as how he had some peace and quiet, Rock went over his report. He had two days before he had to it in and deal with his very moody teacher. He was not about to get on Iori's bad side.

After Dee finished her wandering for a while, she found Rock close to the mines and a few inches away from sitting on some growing pumpkins. She giggled then said, "Rock, I know you want to get your report done, but seriously, if you continue to sit there, you're going to get your a** all wet from some watered plants. I know a better place where you can get it done and nobody will bother you and you won't be risking embarrassment."
Dee showed Rock to the library, and using one of her Golden Skeleton Keys, she unlocked the door to the library and allowed Rock in first. "Now, when you get your report done, you can find me fishing nearby. And if I am not at the fishing spot just south of here by the water, then you will find me at the barn putting my catch into the shipping bin."

Rock nodded then headed towards the mythical beast selection. He grabbed the books he needed and had a seat at a nearby table."Finally peace and quiet." Rock said before once again working on his report. Two hours later, he had his five page report done. He decided to do some research on some of the other places that are available.

Dee had gotten a nice catch within two hours. She had landed 6 snappers, 1 snadore, 3 squid, and 4 opaleye. She was about to head to the shipping bin when she saw Rock exiting the library. She waved to him and asked, "So, you got your homework done finally? Not that I had any doubts or anything."
She walked with him to the barn and then said, "You wanna meet someone who was a ninja but was transformed into a sheep? I still dunno who punished this one, but still...its what can happen to people who get on the wrong side in Azeroth."
Pointing to Gaara the sheep, Dee said, "That there sheep is Gaara of the Sand. A ninja who is a killer when it comes to sand techniques. For fun, he'd trap you into a coffin made of sand and kill you if he wasn't in this wooly form. If you are wondering how my face got full of sand, blame the sheep."
She laughed at that, but still, her eyes told Rock that she was being honest with him. "If I was doing a report on mythical beasts, I'd be doing one on this sheep right here, but thankfully Iori lets us choose who we want to write a report on. I did mine right away and I wrote about my own transformations and how I am a mythical beast unexplained in the world. Terry took some fabulous snapshots of me in my beast modes. You might just have yourself a laugh there too as he got one of me as a pig."

Rock was really not interested in Dee's report. If he wanted to learn about more her transformation, he'd check out the book on her in the library. He turned his attention back to the sheep. " Shouldn't we be trying to find a way to turn him back? From the look he's giving, he's not happy being sheep." Gaara the sheep nodded in agreement.

Dee giggled then replied, "Normally, if you've been transmogrified like Gaara was, it wears off after a few seconds, but... if Gaara was literally hoofing it out of Azeroth whether by choice or not, then the change can become permanent. The only way he'll ever return to normal is if he goes back to Azeroth and is patient for a change. In fact, now that you mention it, and you can blame yourself for doing so, this might not be a bad time for you to see Azeroth. Like you don't have to choose a home in Azeroth if you don't want to, since Terry and I and whom you call the chosen one," she giggled again knowing the reference made, "is always there, but still it would be a good idea to look for a job there at the very least. As Iori had already told you, the Blacksmithing Market can get you rich quickly and it'd be on your own. Plus, you don't have to find the ores required in Azeroth if you don't want to. Heck, my recent jewels were crafted thanks to the gems found in the Winter mine in Mineral town."

Rock by now was so sick and tired of this world of warcraft talk. Azeroth this and Azeroth that, they talk so much about world of warcraft to the point that he thought his head was going explode. He said " If i take Gaara to this Azeroth place, will you in return stop talking about warcraft?" Unlike the rest of his family, Rock could not stand world of warcraft.

"Very well, Rock. But I do wonder, did you find any place you liked while here?"

Rock said " I found two place in the village that I liked. Not sure if I'll be staying here. I found some other cities on a map in the library that I'd like to check out."

"Cool! Now lets get Gaara to Azeroth before he traps us in sand coffins and kills you and causes me to go into riot of blood form. I'll send a notice to Keitaro over what happened to this sheep."
She quickly wrote the note and while she escorted Gaara with her own lariat, she dropped her note into the mail box that belonged to Keitaro. Then she and Rock took a boat directly to Stormwind City from Flower Bud docks.
Now wondering what other cities Rock wanted to see, she asked him, "So what other cities did you have in mind that you wanted to view? Terry asked me to show you to wherever you wanted to take a look at on exception of the Flower Bud Village. That was Yagami's idea."

Rock noticing that something was odd " When did you talk to Iori? When i told everyone at dinner that i was moving out, he wasn't there. If i remember correctly Vegeta was the one going on about me checking out Flower Bud village and Azeroth."

Embarrassed at her mistake, Dee blushed, "Sorry, you're right. It was Vegeta who mentioned the village. I had my mind on future reports at the time that I was telling you about who mentioned what. I want you to see Planet Marvelous after we drop off Gaara. Its an area where there are absolutely no family connections, its city based, and its a place where you can show off your skills as a fighter freely. Terry and I never go there nor do we plan to, unless if it is this one time and you decide that you want to move there. The only law of mine that is followed there to the exact meaning is the multiple spouses law. The villains take advantage of it, not the heroes. Though I do wonder what other places did you have in mind?"
Dee had hoped that Rock didn't notice how tired she was getting. She wanted to help Rock and please Terry even if it meant collapsing somewhere in dire need of sleep.

Rock said as he named off the places on his list " Fire Emblem City, Planet Walt Disney had a few places I want to check out. The majority of the cities I want to look at are on Planet Marvelous." He put the list in his jacket pocket and looked out the side of the ship.
