Once Charlie had settled in his seat, she passed a very wary glance at Gabe. Her expression made it clear, as hers often did, that she didn't believe a word coming out of his mouth. As if he would mean such things. If he did, he wouldn't be smirking so much about it. Without saying anything, as she didn't feel his comment warranted a response, she gave him a look that clearly said 'be nice!' in regard to Charlie. She then went back and settled in her seat.
"Hello again Barth," she said to the sloth demon beside her, figuring she might as well offer a greeting. From there looked at those across the table from her; Christof, LW, and Jericho. "Um sorry, about getting up, but I'm Alessa." She felt like some of them looked familiar, maybe from when they were all running around in Christmas town, but she hadn't actually talked to any of them that she remembered.

"Hello again, Alessa. ...Bartholomew Mudd," he added belatedly for the benefit of Jericho and anyone else who needed his name. To LW he said, "It's all this walking. Usually etiquette doesn't require so much moving around."
Not at his house, anyway.
The instructor was a demon, which made him...wary. He was definitely among the more relaxed members of his race. Avarice demons were more accustomed to behavioral extremes. Livi was a little down the table, anyway. He'd probably pass this class with flying colors.
Barth was hoping to muddle by without creating a stir.
"You survived, though. The hot springs, I mean," Barth said to Jericho, appraisingly. Colette had survived too. It wasn't his forte, but he planned on getting better at it in the near future.

A ghost, huh? Gabrian arched a brow as he watched Holly. He figured he was probably right assuming the garments were important to her; weren't ghosts' forms corporeal more because of the pin than anything else? Could they even change clothes in ah... normal ways? He didn't really have any close ghost acquaintances, but he swiftly decided that if he ever did, he'd push forth that series of interesting questions. If only to sate his curiosity, "I've seen much more... ahh... interesting garment choices. At least you tried," he smiled slightly at her, "Pleasure, Holly," he paused as she mentioned she did indeed need the suit, "Would it be rude of me to inquire as to why you need the suit, my dear? You're most certainly free to not answer me; I'm just slightly curious."
As Charlie turned to offer the nix a smile, Gabrian found he simply couldn't help but smirk back; something about that boil's expression was contagious. Not only that, but the way he seemed to be responding to the situation was... strange. Raw, innocent; it wasn't something Gabrian had often seen in Halloween. This made the other boil a rather interesting specimen indeed! "I highly doubt she planned that," he chuckled slightly, "But if you're going to be stuck for the rest of eternity with one set of clothes... it might as well be a comfortable set, says I."
He eyed the class and then nodded, "Things," another smirk, "Yes. Why yes indeed, you could say that, though..." and here his gaze strayed to Alessa, whom hadn't so much as spared him a word, "Some need the learning more than others. Manners are extremely important. Wouldn't you say?"

Merope couldn't help but to snicker sympathetically to Gabrian upon hearing that he came back with one of the dreaded deer from the raid, reaching out to shake the offered hand. "I'm Merope, nice to formally meet you."
As Yaya spoke up, the undead nodded to her. "I'm in the same boat as Gabrian here. I don't remember, but I still had the bits of pink robot I wore in my natural form. I ended up squishing two gnomes on re-entry, and I think a couple more got squished when they tried to carry said robot pieces into my room." He still needed to get those pieces cleaned, too.
"Yeah," He chimed in to Holly, "Most of us were there." He couldn't think of anything else to add aside from pointing out that it was a lot of walking, and Gabe was fortunate to be able to walk around on two feet rather than four. Getting caught on things wasn't exactly enjoyable.
"Heya fuzzyarms Alessa," Merope greeted, waving to her before returning his attention to his backpack. Seriously, where was that -- aha! The boil wiggled his fin-ears as he pulled out a notebook and pen, carefully setting his backpack down between his bare feet. There! Now he was rea- wait. What? He stared as the demoness called their attention, freezing. Improve his self image? He quite liked how he looked. Did this mean he would have to fill in his fleshy bits?
His confusion turned into disappointment upon hearing that there were seating arrangements. He was hoping to rely on being able to peer at Aymet's paper throughout the course to make sure he was doing it right. Who was this Kasumi person? And -- wait. Wait. Aymet was across the table from him! Could he pop out his left eye and put it in upside-down in order to read his paper across the table? Maybe -- but the teacher seemed to be awfully close...
He vacated his seat (now a bit damp thanks to him) and moved to his new one, glancing down the table. The teacher was still a bit close for comfort (she didn't seem all too happy about something or other), but from his vantage point he had a good look at everyone. And everyone could get a good look at him! This alone tickled the undead boil purple, unaware of how disasterous this could be.
Kasumi introduced herself, earning a nod from the boil. "I'm Merope. Nice to meet you, Kasumi." He was about to ask her a question when Charlie threw a fuss, capturing his attention. Was he seriously making a break for it?! Merope watched in fascination as the boy almost made it to the door before being stopped and pulled to a seat. Huh. "So cloooose," he remarked, shaking his head sadly. Poor kid.

As Christof began to scribble on the back of his card, LW leaned closer to see what he was writing. Being used to some of the horrendous hand writing that belonged to her brothers, the she-wolf had no problems reading his. She wasn't sure what 'M.R.' stood for, but she at least got that it was referring to the purple ghoul. A soft giggle escaped as she glanced at Barth, then back at Christof.
"Don't worry, Christof. I won't tell him." She said softly and winked. Her expression changed to one of utter surprise when he pulled his scarf-thing down and she saw his lips. So that was it! He couldn't speak because his lips were stitched. well, it was nice to fully understand it now. LW reached over and gently pat him on the arm. "Don't worry. I think it make the conversation that much more interesting. Y'know, like the game charades?" Hopefully he knew what that game was.
LW leaned forward so her arms were crossed and resting on the table as she peered around Christof to Jericho. "I'm LW, in case you hadn't caught that. What can I call you?" She didn't want to feel like she was ignoring him in any conversations that their small group here at the end had. Then a new voice drew her attention towards the ghoul across from Christof. Alessa, she said her name was.
"Ello, Alessa! I'm LW." She grinned as her tail flicked, always annoyingly aware of this Jack forsaken dress she was wearing.
A snort of laughter was the response to what Barth said. "I hate to say it, but I think you are positively screwed then." Another giggle. "There might very well be more walking involved in the future."

His smile grew a bit at LW's warm reception of him and he tilted his head thoughtfully before he answered. Would this class be interesting? Why yes, yes it would! To him, at least. But to others? "I think it'd be rather interesting, but I've been looking forward to a course such as this. To others such as yourself, it may not be. But I think it can be fun, if taken in the right perspective. This class is basically to teach us how to meet people no matter what the situation. That can't be all too bad, right?" In the end, that's what it boiled down to. Oh and some proper basics on how to behave and make sure you don't come off as uncouth. Never a bad thing, really.
Alessa spoke to him just as LW herself turned to speak to the one closest to her and he nodded. "That would make sense then. For me, this arranged seating placement is good, since I still don't know too many people as of yet. But it pleases me that we get to be in a class together. I had worried when we lost track of each other out there." He didn't truly elaborate but it wasn't hard to figure out what he meant either way. But as more people sat down, he noticed Gabrian was also in attendance and he shifted a bit to see him better.
"Ah! Always good to see you in good health, sir! Interested in this class, too?" Though, he realized as he glanced around a bit more while waiting a response, that he had seen some of these students before. At the Truth or Dare function not too long ago. Maybe this was his chance to start learning names and faces. Perfect. Though, he really couldn't help but to be surprised that Barth was there and his gaze flicked to his fellow avarice with curiosity. Not to be rude, but it didn't seem to be Barth's setting.
Not that he thought he couldn't do it! Not in the least. In fact, he was pleased by it. He just hoped he'd stay awake for it... that's all.

Siddie nodded to Alessa when the other ghoul returned to her seat; she'd been surprised by the sudden interruption, but Alessa was just helping a boil Siddie didn't recognize. Nice of her, really. The pink-haired demon looked like he was about ready to bolt, entirely uncertain of himself, and obviously had needed a little help. "I'm Obsidian," she introduced herself to the rabbit ghoul. "But please call me Siddie." She glanced to the other students around them. "Nice to meet you all," she offered, a little timidly.
She giggled at Barth's comment. "Unless you have to dance or something," she pointed out.

There had been a lot going on while the ghoul sat in a daze, the class settling into seats arranged by the teacher and proceeding to converse amongst themselves. (or across the table, whatever) Renaissance winked at her, and catching it a wee-bit too late she turned and gave the boil a wave and a returning wink. She hadn’t forgotten about her little girlfriend LW either, turning her head left and right until the were-wolf was in her sight. Calling out rather loudly, “Hey girl!” Waving her hand to her truth or dare partner in the same manner. Natalia had somewhat lost the luster for this particular course, especially when the premise was made clear to the students; but she was still glad to have familiar faces around. Granted the atmosphere was lovely, very much something she could get used to, but—well, there would not be hardly enough touching. Not the kind she enjoyed anyway.
Catching Calder’s greeting, the ghoul smiled and nodded her head. “Good evening Calder, I am Natalia. It is a pleasure.” Contrary to his memory, Natalia recognized the kelpie immediately. He had nice hair and was the one who wore the kilt. Looking to her left she saw another boil, of which she did know, giving Julian a nod of her head and a soft hello just as she had Calder. The group seemed to be on edge over something Natalia had, regrettably, missed, the simmering down of individuals giving the ghoul reason to believe it would probably pay off to actually pay attention.
She returned general greetings with special ones of her own, a bright and welcoming smile sent every which way a student sat, hand waves and winks offered to those she could vaguely recall seeing while kisses were blown to those who Natalia was sure she recognized…This would be interesting, propping herself up on her elbow before tussling her blue hair around a bit.

Christof flushed when the pretty Ghoul in Pink returned across from him, his eyes immediately darting over her, gauging measurements and statistics of proportion. Yes, yes, she was certainly lovely, even if not so anatomically... advanced as his Mistress. A very lovely face, especially. He turned his head slightly, to try to see the contours in a better view, the shape of her nose, the curve of her lips. Oh, it would be nice sitting across from her. Dreamy look passing slightly, he suddenly remembered his manners, flipping his greeting card over again to push it across to her urgently.

Seating arrangements...well that helped, she supposed. There was less wondering where to sit this way! All in all, she was happy with it...right up until she realized she was to sit between two Demons. Demons! Granted Livius was almost a near-constant demon in her life, but the other one? She didn't know him. Unknown-to-her demons were scary...with their full bodies and general demon-ness.
She had gotten very much accustomed to Livi's gentlemanly actions and so the being helped into her chair thing did not come as a big surprise to her at all; considering it was an etiquette class, she also didn't voice a complaint, though she really wanted to. It was the whole point of the class, why grumble about it?
Charlie was here, too? And being very, very loud. She wanted to get up and help him but alas, she was already trapped between a chair and the table...but someone else already grabbed him, so yay! It was still a miracle he managed to get into school...and, well, through life with all things considered. She gave him a little wave if he were to look in her direction. Christof received a similar wave when she noticed she was being gestured towards.
The little Vetala sat quietly at her seat, hands folded on her lap, and just gazed about the room. So many people she recognized! She wanted to call out, but she did know one mildly archaic etiquette lesson, one that a fellow Vetala scolded her about years ago: 'Don't speak unless spoken to'. She was probably wrong, but that's what this class was for!

Holly scratched the back of her neck. Yeah, this guy Charlie wasn't the brightest but he was interesting enough to sit next to at least. "I uh, didn't die in them. Well it's hard to tell but I'm really a fox spirit." Truthfully she had no idea as to why she took on these pajamas in her humanoid form. "They are comfortable though, yes."
She nodded to Gabrian. "I like them well enough. Maybe the next class I'll dress them up a bit more." Holly grinned. "I don't mind. I guess it's my way of showing my true form. Like how some of you have tails and what not." She shrugged. She'd never know the true reason she was based off this clothing.

Riley tore her gaze away from Holly when she heard the boil (Calder) beside her greet her. She almost returned the greeting, until she heard him turn to the kiss-fiend ghoul from truth or dare, and say the same thing. Then he turned again, and practically screamed the same words to the students across from them.
Oh. Was he a parrot ghost? That could get annoying. He didn't look a thing like a parrot, either. She waited until he was done repeating himself, waited yet another moment to see if he was going to ask for a cracker, and then held her hand out after Natalia had greeted him. I'm Riley.

"I'm Jericho," the dragon replied to LW and to the others nearby that may have missed his name, "Nice to meet you."
He kept mental tabs on the names that he received thus far. Turning towards Barth as he was addressed, he nodded at the comment.
"It wasn't easy though. If I hadn't been flying, I probably would have been caught in the blast," he said. One thing for certain was that he was a little more agile in the air than on the ground. Seeing how many close calls he had while in flight, his assumption here was likely correct.
Hearing the mention of dancing, Jericho frowned. He was no dancer, and he was not looking forward to this if that was the case. There was a dance floor here, but perhaps this classroom shared a room with a different class. It seemed plausible to him.

Calder leaned back, but was happy to see a response. Natalia returned his greeting and said it was a PLEASURE meeting him. A pleasure! He was just that great! He was giddy at that, and smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you too. Double pleasures. Triples even." He wanted to show he was really happy to meet her (he may have been a little nervous and then a little hyper as well). Anyone really. He didn't want to be stuck as the only person without a friend in his class. Then, Riley's voice entered his noggin and he turned back, smiling. "Wow. That's really amazing. Did you learn how to do that? Can I do that if I think hard enough?" He closed his eyes and thought back to her. Hi Riley. It's a triple pleasure to meet you.
He opened his eyes, smiling. "Did you get that?" Maybe he should have shouted in his head? Maybe he wasn't good enough at it yet. "I think I know you from the game we played. You had my kilt on your head. Remember?" He pointed to his kilt, the one he was wearing. "You didn't even stretch it at all." Good thing too, or else he would have been angry at her.
Then, thinking of something, he leaned his stomach on the table and waved further down the table. "Hey. You creatures there. Pssst. - Hi!" He said, and leaned back in his chair, looking back at the two girls as best he could manage. "It's so hard to talk to people when we're all in different directions. Can't we have a circle table? Wouldn't that be fun? Can't we be fancy without a table?" Like a sitting circle where they could sip tea off of saucers and set it on the ground. That seemed like a nice idea.

The familiar sweet sound of a familiar voice had the she-wolf turning to wave enthusiastically at Natalia. "Hi sweetness!" She snickered and turned to her right. LW used one of her charming grins as she replied to Livi. "I agree. Should definitely be interesting. Though...I might find it interesting for different reasons." More like how uncomfortable some of the others might get. She gave a soft giggle and a wink before turning to address the others that were speaking.
"Please to meet you, Siddie. And you too, Jericho." She didn't notice anything weird (or notice at all) how focused on Alessa her neighbor seemed to be. The little she-wolf was just busy meeting new people and socializing. She tilted her head as she listned to Jericho and Barth speak about that...horrid freezing place. UGH!
"Me and Kilometer never made it out of that blasted Town of Christmas." She muttered. "Too much...JOY." And snow. The she-wolf had been soo happy to be back in Halloween.
...Wait. Dancing...? She was all ears now. "What about dancing?" Her brow wrinkled. "There is nothing wrong with dancing." Eying the little group around her, LW quirked an eyebrow. "Do any of you like dancing?" Was she a loner here? The she-wolf loved dancing.
Someone from further up the table drew her attention and she glanced that way. There was a...hey it was that white haired boil from...oh Candlejack. It was that one. From Truth or Dare. The first one to have stripped. LW managed a small wave that way, since he seemed to be saying hi to all of them.
