How do I see the new emotes that are on gaia? I suppose a better question would be:
How do I keep everything else (haven't used firefox in a while) and just get rid of the emoticon mod?
/possible dumb question don't shoot me
Er.. The custom emoticons module is preventing you from seeing the new emotes?
Or are you talking about Keist's style?

Looks like something may have broken the account switcher (the most recent forum update maybe?)
It logs out of the current account, but then doesn't log in to the selected account.

Guys the GES isn't working at all for me. It was working great last night but now it's like I never installed it in the first place. sad Of course I also did update Firefox last night right before going to bed so idk if that's the problem or not.
EDIT: 7/13 Hey! It's working again! Thanks! Though it's not saving any changes I make to it in the modules. or I could just be an idiot idk
pls help thanks

Hello. I am going to try this again with a bit more detail. I am now using the latest version of Firefox on a Windows 7 computer, and I have been dealing with this specific problem with GES since July. The problem is, I would try to enable a module, specifically the Thread Filter. I'd enable it set the reply limit etc. and refresh the page. It would work, but I would refresh again and all changes in GES would be reset. The Thread Filter would be disabled and reply limit reset to 0. I have tried uninstalling the script and reinstalling it again, how many times I can't remember.
I would also like to add that I had to do a factory reset on my computer so I could do a process of elimination of solutions for a battery/charger issue that I continue to have. A while after the reset is when I started having the problem with GES. It was fine when I finally got everything back together on my computer. The next day Firefox did an update and then I couldn't, and still can't keep any module settings saved.
It might as well be an issue on my end since everyone else says GES is working normally for them, but I just don't know what it is and would appreciate some assistance. I really liked this script and I would love to continue using it. Thanks.

sorry I didn't reply to your earlier post; I'm not around much anymore and even when I was I don't get notifications for posts here (probably because Keist posted the thread originally)
Just to be sure, you're using 2.6, right?
For some reason, userscripts isn't loading right now so I can't check what the save mechanism is, but I know it's something local. If you have cookies disabled or anything, that'll probably break it.

Thanks for getting back to me. I realized I forgot to mention that I did clear my cache to see if that would fix the problem, though it didn't. I don't believe I ever had cookies disabled. I still don't know what the problem is specifically but I did end up doing a browser switch to Google Chrome. I was also using the TekTek toolbar and didn't really want to make the switch for short cut reasons. I'm not having any issues with GES on Chrome though.
