Kari sighed and ran after them. She stopped and walked next to Shadow. She sighed lightly "Cant they stop arguing for once" she thought.

Shadow just looked ahead, walking....walking....and walking....Not showing any real sign of emotion(except maybe boredom) nor any sign that he saw Kari. Rouge landed and walked with them. "I don't know how you guys can stand walking. My feet are killing me!" "We don't walk around in high-heels, for one. Second, we're used to it." "Hmph, well you're not very nice." Rouge blinked. "Ever have deja vu?" "No." "Well, I just did. That's exactly what I said to you when we first met, and we were walking." Rouge said, shrugging. "Just thought I'd share it...." (We g2g, try to beh on later :3)

Kari growled and then sighed. She really hated when these two started to fight or argue or something stupid. She stayed silent and just continued to walk. She didnt even want to get involved with there argument over walking this time.

(Its ok, i don't mind much. I'll just post what his up to every so often smile )
Trent was leaning his chin on his hand, while his knee was up to support his arm. He stared straight ahead with a look of complete boredom. His eyes were half closed and he was beginning to doze off, when he caught himself just in time before losing balance. "Some help i am..." he said to himself. He looked over at the volcano suddenly feeling a little hotter. Trent stood up and pored the rest of the contents of the water bottle over his arms and legs. Lastly he rubbed water over his neck and face. He felt much more relaxed afterwards and patrolled the area around the helicopter some more.

(If it can even be called arguing xD) "It didn't take this long while flying." Rouge said, then looked at Shadow. "Hey, whatever happened to that one guy....er, Medusa?" "Mephiles." "Yeah, what happened to him?" "If I remember correctly, he's trapped inside some kind of Sceptor of Darkness. I think I put him in there, actually." "Oh yeah, wasn't he trying to turn you against humans or something?"

"Yes. He claimed they would kill me or something when the world was ending." "I didn't remember the details. That's still crazy, even now." Rouge said, looking at him. "First he forms from your shadow, then he's telling you lies." "Insane b*****d." "But he was kinda cute." She added. Shadow looked at her. Rouge blushed, looking at the ground. "Oh, right."

Rough looked around Shadow at Kari. "Oh, Mephiles was some shadow being or something. He got a form from taking Shadow's shadow's form, and he was like a colorless version of him. His voice was deeper, too. He was trying to convince Shadow to join him in destroying people, but it didn't really work out. And seeing as I just called Mephiles cute, I'm techically calling Shadow cute, too...." Shadow didn't comment on this.

Kari nodded her head "oh.. okay? So this person is gone now? I guess by what you guys were saying" she said. She looked at the volcano and wondered how much longer it would be till they reached the opening to get to the gem.

"Yup. Trapped forever in that Sceptor of Darkness. Ah, finally." Rouge smiled slightly as the road started going uphill, and became rockier. "We're getting closer." "Finally." "So....How come we aren't running?" "I'm conserving energy." "But don't you have, like, nearly unlimited?" "I wasn't talking about mine."

Kari looked at them confused slightly. She looked up ahead of her and walked carefully over the rocks hoping not to slip on any of them and fall. She looked around her hoping to find the tunnel soon.

"Not that this isn't fun, but what say I meet you guys up there?" Rouge said, spreading out her wings. "Take care." She took flight, going towards the entrance. (Methinks she just wants to get Shadow and Kari alone. xD)
Shadow watched her go. "Hmph. That's why I don't bother being nice."

Kari looked at Rouge who left her alone with Shadow. She looked at Shadow and then away and continued to walk "I think you should try to be nice a lot more often. But that is just my opinion" she said. She wasnt going to try and force him to be nice but at least say that she wanted him to be nice more. She smiled a little bit.

Apparently, now it's my fault I was a quiet boy mixed with a mean hedgehog, is it?" Shadow said, looking over at her and then looking ahead. Rouge landed infront of the entrance, stretching and sighing. She was extremely bored. "They take FOREVER!" She said to herself, kicking a rock in annoyance.
