Traditionally the loyal minions of Demons, these Hellhounds are fearsome underworld dogs - full of fire and brimstone, but unerringly loyal to their masters who are able to summon and shackle them. However, Sometimes a weakness in the master (or just poor luck/summoning skills) might result in a weakness in the dog - and you get something that is certainly less than fearsome. ((aka, the alt))
ICly, you student can learn a summoning ritual that uses the heavy collar as a component to the spell and physical/magical binding device when the hound (or pup) appears.
