Shadow scratched his head. " i dont know, i have never really had a dog before." He said scratching behind Suki's head.

Yuzi laughs. "Neither have I. Weirdly enough I had many cats." She says shrugging.

Shadow smiles. " i have only had a wolf, like not a werewolf but an actual wolf." he said as his ear twitched.

"I would have loved to have a wolf! But my father did not allow of it though..." She sighed, but smiled as she saw Shadow smile.

" oh yeah, he was something. A big black wolf with red streaks of fur all around his back." Shadow let out a sigh and looked back up at Yuzi with a smile. " it was great having him by my side." he said with a smile.

Yuzi could see the sadness in Shadow's eyes. "Did something...happen?" She asks, eye's filled with worry.

Shadow looked up at her and began to fidget with his thumbs. " erm well, no he is around. he is probably watching us right now, waiting to surprise me." he said smiling. " you see we parted ways to lead my brother, who you met earlier, on the wrong trail. i went one way and he went another. He probably sensed my brother was gone and came looking for me." he said in a happy voice.

"He seem's loyal. I'd love to meet him sometime." Yuzi smiles, but is still serious. "What is his name?"

Shadow smiled. " yeah he is. His name is Drake." Shadow said in a happy voice again.

"Aww, so sweet. A boy and his dog...or wolf." Yuzi laughs. "My first cat was Yoshi. He was very grumpy all the time."

"Well," Yuzi pushed her hair behind her shoulders. "my father was not kind to Yoshi, matter of fact Yoshi was actually scared of him. My father hated everyone...so Yoshi was like my father, and was always grumpy just like him." She sighed.

" ohh i see. sometimes that can happen." Shadow said with a small frown. His ears twitched hearing the sounds of people screaming. He looked out the window and saw people moving out of the way of something. Shadow got up and ran to the door and looked around the corner. Just then Drake ran around the corner and jumped on Shadow and began to lick him. Shadow fell on his back and hugged Drake. " DRAKE!! ive missed you sooo much!!" He yelled. Shadow would get up after Drake was done and lead him to the table. Drakes head was well above the table top so he could see everyone. " yuzi, this is drake. Drake this is Yuzi.
Drake bowed his head towards Yuzi and looked back at her.

Amberlyn walked into starbucks, in her plaid pajama pants and overcoat jacket. She walked over to the cashier and ordered a vanilla coffee light and sweet. As she waited for her order she overheard a conversation. She decided not to easedrop and reached in her pocket for the money to pay for her coffee.
